Chapter 13: The Last Straw part one

Daisuke slowly opened his eyes to come face to face with blue worried eyes. At first, he didn't recognize them at first until he looked at the face.

"Willis?"

"You should rest ..."

"No, I have to find Ken-chan! What? Your still not pissed because I'm going out with Ken are you?"

How am I going to break it to him, Willis thought, as he inched closer to the other boy.

"No. I'm not mad at all. I know that you two really care about each other and I'm sorry that he didn't make it ...."

" 'Didn't make it?' what do you mean? What did you do to him Willis?" Daisuke asked angrily taking the boy by the caller.

"Dai-kun ... please .... I tried everything I could but I couldn't save him ...."

"You let him die, didn't you ..."

"Dai-kun ....." Willis pleated touching his x-boyfriend on the shoulder.

"Don't touch me!" Daisuke demanded pulling away from the other boys grip.

He turned and walked out slamming the door behind him. Dai-chan why can't you find it in your heart to love me ... I really love you with all my heart, Willis thought looking at the door threw his dry scratchy eyes. Rubbed his eyes turned and sitting on the bed was the D-Reaper.

Daisuke froze turned and ran to the cottage and stopped dead to see the D-Reaper walking out holding a bloody Willis by the collar; her body glowing. She threw the bloody corps to the side and looked right into the young knight in training's eyes causing him to shake really bad.

"That's right. Look at me." She said.

"Get away from that little boy!"

The D-Reaper turned with great shock in her eyes. Standing right there was a man about twenty-three. He was very slim, blonde hair and blue slanted eyes.

"You!" The D-Reaper hissed.

"I'm flattered that you remember me ....."

"You stay out of this, Yamaki!"

"And let you take all the children one by one? I don't think so. Besides, we have unfinished business!"

The D-Reaper growled and lunged for the sorcerer as he zipped out of the way like a flash of lightning with a grin on his face. She turned to see a sexy grin on his face and then it turned to anger when he threw a ball of energy at her, the ball was moving fast that she was hit. Lines of energy wrapped around her.

"What is this? You let go of me at once!"

"NEVER! I will not let you harm these children ....!"

"And I'll say that looking into children's hearts is the best way to find their weakness." Said a voice

Yamaki turned around and came face to face with a pale figure with long black hair, long skinny body black pit eyes and a stern face.

"It's .... it's you," Daisuke gasped in horror with hug eyes full of fear, "but how ..... I thought you .... you where ...."

"It's amazing what you can do to a couple of kids to satisfy what you want ...."

"What is he talking about?" Yamaki asked with great confusion in his cold blue eyes.

"You stay out of this Oikawa! That little red-head is mine!"

"That's what you think!"

Yamaki took the young knight in training reached in his pocket and pulled out what looked like a small back ball and smashed it on the ground creating so much dust that Oikawa had no choice but cover his eyes. Once it was safe to see the sorcerer and the young knight where gone. The D-Reaper fell to her hands and knees as drops of sweat came down her forehead on the ground. He's going to pay for this, the D-Reaper thought as she dug her nails into the earth.

"This is your fault Oikawa! I would have had him if you haven't intervened!"

"I'm sure. Just stay out of my way, okay?"

"No, you stay out of my way!"

With no other words they both walked off in different directions.

Riley turned around as she sighed a great sigh of relief. She ran up and hugged her boyfriend; Daisuke couldn't help but just stand there and stay perfectly still.

"So you must be Daisuke a knight in training, are you not?"

"Wha ....?"

"Awww .... you poor thing. You must be scared to death. Here, lie down and rest why we get the rest of your friends."

" .... My friends?"

"Yes. Your friends."

"I have no friends ..... Ken and Willis are gone and the others are probably dead too."

"Yamaki, can't you snap him out of it?" Riley asked.

" ..... He's dead and I didn't have a chance to apologize for being such an asshole to him ...."

"Who?"

"Willis ......... I didn't want to admit that I loved both of them .... after our first encounter with Oikawa ..... Ken was so messed up that it took him years to recover from what he did ...... I was the only he allowed to come near after that .... over time ... he got to trust people ..... when I told Willis that I was going out with Ken he never spoke to me after that ..... but I still loved him ....."

Daisuke covered his face with his hands and started to sob as he collapsed on the ground as though all the energy has been sucked out of him. Riley ran up scooped the boy in arms and laid him down on the feather bed as Yamaki ran out. Please be careful, She thought her expression was as thought she was going to know that something bad was going to happen.

Kouji sat up violently coughing up water and feeling sick to his stomach. He turned his head to see Takuya with a worried look on his face.

"What are you doing? I told you go on without me! Why did you save my life?"

"Why do you think I did? I couldn't let you drown like that ...."

"That's not the point! You could've drowned too Takuya!"

"That doesn't matter. Your life is more important than mine."

Kouji blinked for one moment to notice that Takuya didn't have his big bulky hat and goggles. Takuya's hair was muddy brown with a soft tent to it. The slave couldn't help but freeze when the former-knight touched his hair.

"I had no idea that you had such soft hair, Takuya."

"Really?"

"Mmmm. You look sort of cute without the hat."

"You really think so?"

"I know so. Now lets go look for the others." Kouji said helping the other boy up.

"Right."

Takato's body was violently jolted feeling strong arms lift him upright his face was buried into a chest as the ground started to shake and dust started to rise in the air. The strong arms tightened their grip him as he felt a tiny hand tugging on his shirt and muffling.

"Antylamon, where are you?" Suzie panicked trying to look threw the thick pile of dust. "Antylamon, speak to me!"

The little princess gasped in horror when saw that the big spirit was hit. Her body started to glow as her tall large body started to shrink and disfigure to a three foot tall rabbit. Suzie ran up and caught her in her arms as the two boys look ahead to see what caused it. Sure enough it was the D-Reaper.

"All right! What do you want?"

"It's obese isn't it?"

"All right, I'll some ... as long as you leave Suzie and Takato alone."

"Of course."

"You have to get threw me first!" Takato said stepping in front of his boyfriend facing the D-Reaper with his arms spread out.

"Me too!" Said the little princess stepping in front of her brother.

"Takato, Suzie, what are you doing, get out of the way!"

"You better do as he say's." The D-Reaper said calmly.

"No! You have to get threw me if you want Lee-chan!"

"Easy enough."

Just then the ground started to shake and dark shadowy figure came up behind the D-Reaper. She slowly turned around to see what looked like a big monster with an alien head and big strong body with a bung of armer. All three kids where scared for one moment until the D-Reaper lunged for the big creature as they fell to the ground. Takato too felt the impacted as he felt his body flung back into Lee's arms.

"Takato-chan are you all right?"

"I'm fine." He said as his boyfriend helped him up, "but I had enough of this!"

"I couldn't agree with you more! Rhhh!"

The big creature used his claw and cut threw the D-Reaper causing her to scream and vaporize to the sky.

"One more last detail." Said a voice. "Tria-beam!"

They both turned their heads to see what looked like another big rabbit with green armor throwing a glowing triangle at the remans of the D-Reaper. Lopmon slowly opened her eyes to see Rapidmon and Wargrowlmon standing there as she smiled.

"Hi ... Rapidmon ... late as usual?" She joked.

"Is she gone?" Takato asked looking around very alert.

"Wow! Another bunny!" Said Suzie excitedly.

"Stay back .... you don't know where that one came from." Lee said pulling his sister back.

"There's no fear of my brother ... how else would I know his name."

"Takato are you all right?" Wargrowlmon asked.

"Yea. But is the D-Reaper gone?"

"Yep." Said a voice as they all turned their heads to see a tall blonde man walking toward them.

"Who are you?" Lee asked suspiciously.

"There's no need for concern .... I'm the one who sent these Mega Spirits ahead and they did quit nicely. I thought I had to help them ... so there goes my theory out the window."

"Wait .... I recognize you. You use to come in the nursery and help some of the kids when they got sick or something." Lee said.

Yamaki blinked for one moment looking at the young prince. Is that .... Mr. Jenyra's son? He looks so much like him ... Takato narrowed his eyes at the slim blonde not liking the way he was looking at his boyfriend.

"Right. But who are you?"

"Yamaki ... a sourer ... now you need to come with me and help find the others! It's not safe for all of you children to be out here like this."

"The others? What's going on Yamaki?" Lee asked.

"I'm not quit sure, Lee ...."

"How do you know his name?" Takato asked.

"That's not important right now, the main thing is getting the three of you to safety."

"I don't know ... Suzie has a high fever .... she shouldn't go out in this rain ...."

"Why didn't you say so. Here you go little princess ..."

The blonde waved his hand in a circle and a cup appeared. He took it and gave it to her saying that the cup was hot. The little princess put Lopmon down and took the cup and started to drink it. It tasted like hot-chocolate with a hent of ment. Lee waited for something bad to happen but nothing did. The cup disappeared after she drank it, she put her hand on her forehead to feel that she didn't feel warm.

"Feeling much better?" Yamaki asked.

"Yes." She said with a cat like expression.

"Ready to go, then?"

"Yea ... all this rain is not good for Antylamon's fur."

All Yamaki could do was chuckle at the little princess.

"Please ... call me Lopemon."

"I'm just glad that your all right." Suzie said hugging the rabbit to death.
