Curriculum 00: Friends

Notes, disclaimers, and bullshit: This story happens to be a Digimon/Candidate for Goddess crossover. All of the scenes and plot type stuff comes from Candidate for Goddess, so if your not familiar with that anime, I suggest watching it on Saturday Nights at 1:30am on Cartoon Network (Note that is only in the US. Time is eastern and pacific.). This is also a LEMON series. The couple is Zero/Kizna. I don't own any copyrighted material. The only instance Digimon is even mentioned is two characters that will be in the entire series. One more thing, "Curriculum 00" is basically the chapter number, "00" means prologue.

G.O.A. End of year 2 ceremony for Pilot Candidate and Repairer Candidate 50

"… and so we have come to the end of the second year of training for you Candidates," the head instructor said, "Now before you begin the third and final year, you will be paired with a Candidate from the year below you. The selection will happen during this evening's ceremony.

"Now is the time to announce the rankings for this year. First place goes to Candidates Takaishi and Kamiya…

… Dismissed!"

The young men and women toil and work so that one-day they can use one of the five goddess. But sometimes, they must forget that they are rivals, and must become allies, as they must do on the battlefield, and in life.

"Zero!"

"Clay, what's going on?" Zero said as he woke from a groggy sleep.

"We're supposed to meet Kizna and Saki in the simulator for the last final!"

"Oh, yea. Why do we have finals the day of the end of year ceremony?"

"Don't ask me!" Clay said as he slipped on his uniform.

"Remind me how long we have 'till classes start?" Zero said.

"We don't have classes for a whole two months."

"Yes," Zero said as he sped for the simulator.

Zero entered the room containing the simulator. It had the repairer's station and the entrance to a cockpit, but no actual ship. Kizna sat at the station marked "88". The instructor would be a few minutes, so Zero decided to talk to Kizna. Zero knew that there was a bond between him and Kizna, as there usually is between a Pilot and a Repairer, but they've grown close, real close. He wondered if this was because of them being really good friends, or more. "Hey Kizna!" he yelled.

"Zero! How you feeling?"

"Fine, Hiead didn't hurt me too much," Zero said referring to the battle the day before when Hiead had "accidentally" hit him instead of hitting the target.

"Well, that's good because…"

"That's enough candidates. Let's begin the test," Instructor Azuma Hijikata said.

End of year 1 ceremony

"… now you must be, for the time off, placed with one of this year's Second Year candidates for the two month period before classes begin next semester. When I call your name and the name of who you'll be paired with, you are dismissed.

"Year 1 Top Pilot Candidate Zero Enna, you will be placed with Year Two Top Pilot Candidate Takeru Takaishi. Year 1 Top Repairer Candidate Kizna Towryk you will be paired with Year 2 top Repairer Candidate Hikari Kamiya…"
