Me: I'm back!

Izumi: Who cares if you're ba...*Kouji enters room and her eyes pop into hearts* Kouji-kun!!!

Kouji: *groans* It's Kouji or Kouji-san NOT Kouji-kun!

Izumi: *frowns* What do you look for in Mizu-san?! I'm alot more prettier than her!

Kouji: *sigh* Vanessa doesn't own Digimon Frontier. She does own Yasashii and her made up forms/digimon. And I have to run before Izumi glomps me! *runs away*

Izumi: KOUJI-KUN!!! *chases him*

Me: *left in the dust* *Blinks twice* What happened? Kouji is12 and so is his twin brother(at least, that's what people at Pojo's Digimon Gossip say :p)

"Renamon, no, I don't want to let go!""Again, when? When will that be?!"~Ruki, episode 51

Chapter 7
Takuya:*title appears* Warrior of Darkness, Duskmon, appears!

The sun slowly set as the Chosen Children came upon a forest. Yasashii was about to step in when Bokomon shouted, "Don't go in there! That's the dark continent! There are evil and powerful digimon there!" Bokomon shuddered and was about to drag Neemon the other way when Yasashii replied,

"So? We should get the evil hybrid's spirits and this is a likely spot for where they would be" she replied. She smirked. "Let's hunt some hybrids!" The others gave her a blank look.

"Come on! You've never seen Lord of the Rings?!" she sighed. "American movie" She grabbed Kouji's and Takuya's arms and dragged them in. "Come on!" Kouji and Takuya only sweatdropped. Junpei and Izumi looked at eachother, then sighed. Tomoki started following them.

"Should we follow?" asked Izumi.

"I'll do what you do" replied Junpei. Izumi was about to turn around when a thought hit her.

~Izumi's mind~ *the akward music plays*
*chibi Yasashii, Kouji, and Takuya appear*
Yasashii: Come on come on!
Kouji and Takuya: YASASHII-SAN/-CHAN! WE'VE BEEN WALKING FOR FIVE HOURS!
Yasashii: Daijoubou Daijoubou! We're right on the right track! *steps and they all fall in a hole*
Kouji and Takuya: YASASHII-SAN/-CHAN!!!!!!
~End animation~

Izumi's mouth tightened and her cheeks flared red from that image. She yanked Junpei's arm and stomped in the direction the threesome took. Junpei just sighed and tried to keep up so Izumi wouldn't have to yank him.

"Izumi-chan...." They finnaly caught up to the threesome, Yasashii not yanking Kouji and Takuya anymore. Yasashii's face looked determined, but it got a teensy bit scared evrey time she heard something.

She finnaly couldn't take it anymore. "OKAY! Who lead us in here?!" Yasashii demanded. Evreyone sweatdropped.

"You?" said Takuya timidly. The next instant, a mallet came hammering down on his head. "Itai! Where do girls keep those mallets?!" After that, there was an eerie silence. Nothing moved, nothing could be heard.

A scream echoed through the forest suddenly, shattering the silcence like broken glass. Yasashii screamed and clinged onto Kouji and Bokomon clung onto Yasashii's leg. Kouji blushed slightly, but was able to keep his face from becoming red.

Takuya and Izumi feelings of jealousy were growing evreytime they saw them together.

As Yasashii let go, she felt a cold eerieness wash over her, but shrugged it off and continued on.

~The "evil" castle~

"That's not Seraphimon's data, am I not correct?' said a hazy voice. Mercuremon froze. They had to contact Cherubimon and tell him about their progress. Mercuremon supposadly gave him 'Serpahimon's' data. It was really other digimon's data.

"I'll let you keep it for a while Mercuremon, but you better not lose it!" The image of Cherubimon dissapeared. Mercuremon punched the wall out of anger.

"How?! How did he find out?!" cried Mercuremon in anger.

"You're getting cocky, Mercuremon" a shadow appeared. Mercuremon turned towards the shadow.

"Duskmon!"

"Remember what he said, he's only letting you have Seraphimon's data for a while" Duskmon started to walk away. Duskmon walked up to the top of the castle and looked at the blue sky. He mumble's something we can't understand, then get's ready to go to the forest.

~Back at the CC~

"I.... will not.... give up!" Arbormon wearily stood up, the Chosen Children in their evolved forms. Arbormon took a surprise attack, but the chosen clidren were able to defeat him.

A shadow appeared in the fog, and it slowly formed to Duskmon.

"Duskmon...." Arbormon murmmured.

"You...." Vritramon muttered.

"Thank god you have arrived" Arbormon said werily and got up.

A red sword came out of Duskmon's skull hands. "You're worthless without your beast spirit" he said calmly. "I have no need for you!" The sword slashed Arbormon and he turned into Digi-code. The digi-code went to Duskmon's other hand as the digi-tama flew away.

"you... Why did you?!" Vritramon demanded. Duskmon smirked.

"Ah, the Chosen Children. You're probably wondering who I am. I am the Legendary Warrior of Darkness, Duskmon." He pointed his blade towards the children. He sent a powerful blast at the children, them barely missing it!

"Ultimate Thunder!" Bolgmon attacked, but Duskmon nimbly got out of the way and dust flew up.

"Corona Blaster!" Vritramon sent the fire bullets at Duskmon, but Duskmon blocked them. Duskmon dissapeared, appeared behind Vritramon, picked him up, and threw him to the ground.

"Vritramon!" Serphantmon called out. "Serphant's Wrath!" The tail grew a dangerous blue before the tip got sharper than it was, she tried to sink it into Duskmon's flesh, but he knocked it away with his sword.

"Bolgmon Slide Evolution! Blitzmon!"

"Blizzarmon Slide Evolution! Chakmon!"

Wolfmon ran towards Duskmon, with his saber out, and locked swords with him. Wolfmon tried to force him back, but Duskmon was easily holding him back.

"Lightening Blitz!" "Snow Bomber!" "Gilgamesh Slicer!" "Fang Slash!" Blitzmon, Chakmon, Shutumon, and Serphantmon attacked him at once, but he easily dodged it.

"Geist Abend!" HIs attack was dead on, but the children barely missed it! Vritramon slowly got up.

"Flame Storm!" The embers slowly engulfed Duskmon in a fire tornado.

"Minna! We must leave!" Wolfmon cried out. Evreyone turned and quickly got away.

After they left, Duskmon broke the tornado with his arm. He was unscathed.

The group again is walking through the forest. "Did we really have to run?! We could've beaten him!" Takuya cried out angrily.

"He was unscated from all our attacks AND he dodged most of them!" Kouji spat.

"We still could've beaten him!" Takuya argued.

"You're so stubborn that you can't admit he was stronger than us!"

"You guys! We need to find some food!" Bokomon interrupted.

"I'll get the fire wood!" Junpei was gone for a while, then got back with and arm-full of firewood. Soon, they had a fire going. Izumi walked over with more firewood. They soon were in a conversation.

Takuya and Tomoki were elsewhere picking fruit. "Takuya Onni-chan, do you have a plan?" Tomoki asked.

"A perfect one, Tomoki" said Takuya.

Yasashii and Kouji soon found a little stream and were filling there canteens up.

"Who's side are you on?" Kouji asked suddenly. Yasashii looked at him dumbly. "Do you think we should attack Duskmon, or is he too powerful?" Yasashii giggled.

"Are you jealous, thinking I'll side with Takuya-kun?" Kouji glared at her. "I"m joking Kouji-kun, lighten up. I'm on both sides. From our battle, he seems really powerful. But if we come up with some sort of plan, I'm sure we'll beat him" She started humming a tune.

"What are you humming?" asked Kouji.

"It's an english song, sung by a canadian singer, Amanda Marshall. It's called 'Beautiful Goodbye'. Want me to sing it?"

"I'd love to hear you sing" Kouji replied.

"It kinda describes how I feel about being here." Yasashii humed the intro.

"Oi! Kouji, Yasashii-san!" Takuya called.

"Coming!" Kouji and Yasashii walked back. When they got there, they saw some clay action figures of them and Duskmon.

"This is it. I'll distract Duskmon. While he's distracted, you will aim your attacks at the same time. Got it?" Kouji scoffed.

"You still don't get it, do you? We can't beat Duskmon. Face it Kanbara, you're just have too much pride to admit it!" Kouji snapped. "Duskmon is alot more powerful then you think!"

"At least I'm not the one who always acts like 'I'm Mr. Cool and the loner and I'm gonna get the pretty girl'" Takuya snapped back, his face in Kouji's.

"What'd you say?!" Kouji demanded.

"Kouji-kun, Takuya-kun, stop it!" Yasashii tried to break it up, but Kouji huffed and walked away.

"Wait!" Takuya followed him. Yasashii looked towards Izumi, Tomoki, and Junpei.

"Are you gonna follow them with me?" she asked. The threesome nodded.

"You just won't listen, he is too powerful!" Kouji argued. He and Takuya were in an abandoned building. "You're plan won't work! Think this is a game, Kanbara?! It isn't!"

"I don't think this is a game! We can beat him! We beat Grottomon, got BOTH his spirits, and got Petaldramon's spirit. IS that enough for you Mr. Big Shot?!" Takuya snapped back.

"Would you rather have Yasashii-chan or the others hurt?!" Kouji demanded. That took Takuya by surprise. "The only reason I actually am fighting is because of Yasashii-chan! I'm not gonna get her hurt by your rash decisions!"

"Kouji...."

"I tried my best. I put ALL my power in trying to defeat him! Not evan a scratch!"

"Would you rather have Yasashii-san sad and depressed?! If we don't beat him, we'll never go home!"

"Home? I don't have a home...." Kouji murmmured. He thought about it. "Fine, I'll do it. But only for Yasashii-chan's sake" The ground suddenly shook and they heard yells and screams outside.

"Spirit Evolution!" "Mizumon!""Shutumon!""Bolgmon!""Blizzarmon!" They both ran outside and saw Duskmon attacking Mizumon, Shutumon, Blizzarmon, and Bolgmon!

"Geist Abend!" HE attacked the hybrids, knocking them back easily! Takuya and Kouji started running towards him.

"Spirit Evolution!" "Agunimon!" "Garmmon!" Agunimon ran torwards Duskmon.

"Burning Salamander!" The atack hit him with NO effect at all! Agunimon started getting scared. "Salamander Break!" He fired the attack at the head, bnow evan a scratch!

"THESE people are my enemies?! How pathetic can they come?" Duskmon taunted. Agunimon started punching Duskmon's head, but no effect again.

'Kouji was right, he really IS strong!' Agunimon got ahold of Duskmon and keeps him there.

"Speed Star!" "Ultimate Thunder!" "Gilgamesh Slicer!" Mizumon ran up and did her Seven Oceans. Agunimon jumped up and all the attacks collided with Duskmon. He was STILL unscathed! Agunimon landed and started getting scared. He thought Duskmon would go after him, but went to Mizumon.

"Might as well get rid of this 'fluke'" Duskmon raised his sword. Mizumon stood frozen in fear. She closed her eyes, waiting for the pain. There was a clang of metal on metal.

"Garmmon!!" The others cried out. Mizumon opened her eyes and saw Garmmon, the red sword in his shoulder. HE soon reverted back to Kouji. Mizumon's eyes widened and tears came to them, but they were hidden by her helmet.

She knelt down at his side. "Kouji-kun!"

"...Kouji...?" Duskmon mummured.

She picked him up, tears flowing from her eyes, but they could only see the tears that got to her face. "KOUJI-KUN!!!!!!!" Kouji was shaking with his teeth clenched.

Duskmon was shocked when she yelled out his name. His eyes widened and he took a step back. 'Kouji?! What have I done?!' "Why, why did I do such a thing?"

"What?" Shutumon inquired.

"Duskmon feeling sorry...?" Blizzarmon murmmured.

"Why did I do it?!"

"You're asking yourself why you attacked him?!" Tears kept flowing down. "Kouji-kun"

"Kouji....Kouji...Kouji....." A fog surrounded Duskmon. It then engulfed evreyone.

Takuya: Next time!


Yasashii: Where's Takuya-kun?

Izumi: Takuya will be back, but we need to focus attention on Kouji.

Yasashii: Orimoto, do you have feelings for him?

Izumi: Na...nani? Why are you asking me that?
