Chapter Two: New Thoughts

Takato woke up with a start feeling as though he lost the track of time. He sat up feeling something smooth rub against his back. He looked down to see that he was wearing a silky short sleeve shirt. Takato looked up when he hard the door open to see a young girl about his age. She had on a plane white dress (no holes), a side pony tail, white slippers and her face was careworn. She also had a tray of food in her hand.

"Good afternoon, Takato," she greeted him with a slight bow, "Prince Lee thought you might be hungry."

"Uh .... Thanks." He stuttered watching her put the try of food in front of him.

"Any time." She said cheerfully, "Oh will you look at the time .... gotta run ...."

She turned and headed out the door before Takato could even ask who she was. No she couldn't .... She just couldn't be a slave .... slaves are not suppose to wear nice things .... unless .... Takato paused for one moment on the wishful dream of having a nice kind master as he looked at his bowl of soup, crackers, water, and bread.

The girl walked down the hallway into her master's room where she flopped on the bed with a sigh. Her master Lady Ruki turned walked out of the big closet half dressed.

"Well?"

"Well, what?"

"Did you get to meat my cousin's new slave?"

"Yea, but he seams unsure about everything."

Lady Ruki smiled walked up to her slave sat next to her saying that she shouldn't worry about it and that everything will be just fine.

"Your right, Ruki-chan ... I remember when you bought me out of the darkness into the light .... that's the reason why I love you." Said the girl leaning to kiss her love.

"Juri-chan, I have to get ready for the banquette."

"Oh, you're no fun." Juri pouted.

"Don't worry ... when I get back .... we'll have some time alone."

"Promise?"

"I Promise. Now help get ready."
