I felt the blow on my chest as I fell to the ground.

It was painful, it hurt like hell.

I knew this was it.

I knew that was the end.

I knew I was going to die.

I see the people look over me.

They were the friends that I had battled alongside against so many enemies against.

They were the family I never had.

They were the comrades in the war against evil.

Their were two figures I had mostly loved.

The first was my partner Davis.

We were so alike.

We ate, laughed, and fought with heart and courage.

He was the best friend I ever had.

The second was none other then the digimon I loved.

Gatomon.

What had happened was we were ambushed by a mad BlackTyranomon and I dived in front of an attack that was going to hit her.

As the BlackTyranomon went away they all came to me to see if I was alright.

I wasn't and they could tell.

I was bleeding.

In the chest, the face, the arms, and legs.

I was bleeding.

I was fading.

I was dying.

My body was slowly turning to data.

What awaited me?

Heaven?

A new life?

Nothing?

I looked at Gatomon.

Crying with tears.

She looked beautiful.

I loved her and never told her I did.

She asked me why I took the hit.

Why did I sacrifice my self?

Why did I do it?

I told her because I loved her.

She cried harder.

I didn't know if she and Patamon was an item, but since I was dying I thought it would be best to say by feelings to her.

It was getting harder to breath.

My body was half way gone.

I was almost gone.

She then said something that made me start to cry.

She said she loved me too.

I was so happy and sad that I only cried as she then kissed me in the lips.

I kissed with her.

The others were crying and were all around me as they saw one of their family slowly pass away.

My body was almost fully data.

I then said my last sentence to her.

“Love you in the next life.”

The last thing I saw was Gatomon, my love, nodding.

Then I was gone.
