Myotismon Went Down to Tokyo

Myo tismon went down to Tokyo.
He was looking for a soul to steal.
And he was in a bind
'Cause he had a child to find.
Wanted the world to be his meal.
When he came upon a boy kickin' a ball and makin' a shot.
Myotismon jumped up on a lamp post and said
"Kid let me tell you what.
I bet you didn't know it
but I'm a soccer player too.
And if you care to take a dare
I'll make a bet with you.
Now you kick a pretty hard goal, boy
But give Myotismon his due.
I'll bet a golden ball 'gainst your sister's soul
'Cause I think I'm better than you."
The boy said "My name's Taichi
And I won't let you win.
I'll take your bet and you're gonna regret
'Cause I'm the best that's ever been."
Taichi tighten up your laces and kick that ball real hard
'Cause Myotismon's loose in Tokyo
And Hikari's the one he wants.
And if you win you get this soccer ball made of gold.
But if you lose he gets your sister's soul.
Myotismon took off his cape and he said
"I'll take first kicks."
And lightning crashed up in the sky
As he lined up between the sticks.
He stepped back a bit to kick the ball.
The Digimon made an evil hiss.
Taichi blocked the shots from the goal.
No way this monster'd beat him at this.
When Myotismon finished Taichi laughed
"Well you didn't make a single one.
But you come on over here
And let me show you how it's done"
Taichi's kickin' at the balls without missin' one.
Myotismon's in the land of the rising sun.
Will the demon come close to winnin' Hikari's soul?
Not if Taichi has a say-so.
No way no
Myotismon bowed his head
The Digimon knew that he'd been beat
And he laid the golden soccer ball
On the ground at Taichi's feet
Taichi said "Myotismon don't ever come back.
Don't you ever dare visit again.
You tried for Hikari once
You son-of-a-bitch
And I'm never gonna let you win."
He hummed
I was kickin' at the balls without missin' one.
Myotismon's left the land of the rising sun.
Did the demon come close to winnin' Hikari's soul?
Not while Taichi had a say-so.
No way no.
