Mace: Max where did he go. He was just here a second ago.

Max: I really don't know.

Mace: lets get back to The Stormbreaker

Max: good idea

Mace and Max run into the Stormbreaker into the cockpit and start the ship

Yolei: hey where did he go

Mace: I don't know and I don't wanna know we're up for more then I thought.

Davis: we cant just run away we have to find him

Max: we will when it punched him I implanted a homing device on him

Mace: good thinking

The stormbreaker lifts up and takes off.

Max: where are we going

Mace: gimme a second

Mace then has a look of deep thought

They then come up on a small town. Mace then started landing the ship in a large field. One mace landed they found out it was a town of gomamon and they had just landed in one of their fields.

Gomamon 1: Hey what the hell do you think you're doing

Mace, Max and the DD walk out of the stormbreaker

Mace: I'm sorry I didn't know you grew crops here

Gomamon 2: well you need to be more careful next time

Mace: sorry but have you seen this monster anywhere (holds out a picture of Nemesis)

The gomamon's facial expressions turn to one of horror.

Gomamon 1: why would you be looking for him

Mace: Him?

Gomamon 2: he has been wrecking havoc on our town

Gomamon 1: he's already killed 15 or our towns Mon

Gomamon 2: he comes from the dead factory

Mace: The dead factory?

Gomamon 1: it's this big building where humans like you only bigger used to be.

Gomamon 2: all the humans there are gone now they don't come out any more.

Gomamon 1: Our elder went to investigate what happened but he never came back.

Gomamon 2: Would you please go and find out what happened to him

Mace: My job isn't to save your elder its to destroy Nemesis

They all leave the are DD looking slightly sad because they cant help the gomamon. Mace takes off as Max's computer screen starts flashing.

Max: I'm getting a reading on Nemesis

Mace: where is he?

Max: go west for about 29 miles

Mace: damn that little fuck is fast

30 Miles Later

The stormbreaker comes up on a large building with a fence and a landing pad.

Max: he is somewhere in the building. I can't get an exact reading where.

Mace then lands on the roof-landing pad. They all walk out onto the roof. It was a sunny day they had a while until night fell. About 5 hours.

Kairi: could this be the dead factory they were talking about.

Mace: maybe

They all exited the Stormbreaker and headed towards the door on the roof.

Mace: we need to find a safe place to keep you guys.

Davis (patting his m-16): we're coming with you

Mace: no you're not you're lucky we let you come this far.

Davis: awww

They walked through the door and there was an elevator and a stairwell. They walked to the elevator and pressed the 1st floor button.

Mace: Me and max will start from the bottom and work our way up

They exited the elevator and they were in a large hall.

Cody: wow this place is huge

Mace: we don't know what's in here so keep you're guard up

They all walked into the room closest to the elevator. It was a large room with paintings on display. Inside they saw a man bent over and another man surrounded in a pool of blood. It reeked of rotted flesh and death. The man turned around and he had blood all over his mouth. His skin was decayed his face was paper white and chunks of his cheek were missing. The man he was apparently eating didn't look to good either. Mace pulled out his beretta and pointed it at the man.

Mace: stop right there

The man kept on walking and mace took a shot at his kneecap. The man was barely phased by this. He took another shot at his chest. The man kept on walking. At this point Davis was scared as hell and started firing at the decaying man, sending pieces of muscle and flesh flying everywhere. The man fell to the floor with a groan.

Mace: What the hell was that? It should have been down on the first shot. This isn't right. Why was he eating the other man?

Max: let's get them to a safe place and then we can investigate.

Mace: good idea.

They all walked out of the room and into the next room. The next room had not one in it so they all lowered their weapons. I was about the same size as the other room. It appeared to be a living room. There were no closets so no one would be hiding in one.

Mace: you guys stay here. Cover the door with that cabinet. Max and me are gonna investigate. And take this walkie-talkie if you need anything or if we find something we'll contact you.

DD: ok

Mace and max the exited the room. And the digidestined pushed the large cabinet over the door.

Davis: what the hell was that thing

T.K: it looked like a zombie

Cody: it was a zombie

Yolei: I wanna go home

Cody (crying): me too

Davis: don't cry, there's no zombie in here and they can't get in so don't worry ok.

Kairi: well I guess there's nothing we can do but sit around and wait for them to come back.

Davis: you're right

Yolei: I'm tired

T.K.: we all are but on of us is gonna have to stay awake in case a radio transmission comes in or Mace and Max come back.

Davis: Me and Veemon will take first shift

DD: ok
