Pillow Talk

Yamato smiled softly as his beloved snuggled into his arms, both of them enjoying the afterglow. He could hardly believe that after all that had happened, they were still together. "You know, I still can't believe the others haven't realized exactly how long we've really known each other," his lover purred softly in their sweet voice.

"I know." Yamato nodded quietly in agreement. The other tilted their head to look up at him.

"Maybe we should clue them in? I feel so wrong, not letting them know." Worry filled their eyes. "You're not ashamed of knowing me, are you??"

Yamato stroked his lover's arms gently. "Of course not!"

"But we're total opposites in some ways. Are you sure you're not trying to replace Taichi with me?"

The blonde nodded. "I'm not interested in him. I want you, love."

He loved that glistening smile. "You sure? You could have any girl you wanted, you know."

"But you're who I want." Yamato reminded his love. The other snuggled into him and sighed softly. "Something wrong?"

"Besides the fact that I'm making out like a bandit with you?" His beloved chuckled, then Yamato moaned softly as slender fingers ran through his thick golden hair. "I love you hair...it's so soft and long..." Yamato had spent some time growing it out, and it looked fantastic. Especially when plastered against his head, wet from sweat.

The singer smiled gently. "Glad you like it."

"It's one of your best features," his beloved murmured. "Besides your talented hands."

He chuckled. "Yours aren't so bad either."

The other blushed. "Must be from all the sports I play. But yours are better."

"Not to me," Yamato purred quietly.

His lover smiled, eyes lighting up with joy. "But you do magic with yours!"

"Yours feel better on me." Yamato grinned. The other chuckled softly as those hands skimmed down the musician's body to just below his torso.

"Is that so?" The only response was a wordless moan, and the lover chuckled. "That's not an answer, handsome."

Yamato squirmed in delight. "Oh, yes!!" He whimpered quietly as the other stopped, then kissed him deeply, their lips locking in an embrace that they never wanted to part from.

Once they finally did, his beloved snuggled even closer. "I always feel so safe in your arms, love."

"You always are safe," Yamato responded quietly.

There was silence for a few moments, then his love told him, "You know, the title of Digimon Emperor really should be yours. Because of your father, I mean."

"Oh. Him." Yamato tried hard not to think of his father. Then again, gorgeous here has some paternal annoyances as well.

His love ran those talented hands over him again. "Maybe when we're both adults, we should move to the Digiworld and you take your rightful place?"

"Well, moving to the Digiworld sounds nice," Yamato tried to think, a hard thing to do with those nimble fingers caressing him. "But I'm not so sure about running it."

"Someone has to," his lover pointed out. "Or we'll run into even more trouble, worse than Ken."

Yamato sighed; he knew his beloved was right. "I suppose. I just don't like the title. Bad associations." He knew Ken had reformed, but still...it just didn't feel right.

"Then change it." His lover said simply. "But if you don't take the reins, someone like your father might. Or they'll set up another puppet, like Ken was."

"True." Yamato smiled tenderly. "And I'd have you to help me."

"Always, Yama-chan."

Yamato wrapped his arms tightly around his lover and nuzzled gently at where the neck and shoulder met. "My beautiful love..." He could feel the other reaching for something, then, then blinked as a small box was held out before him. With one hand he reached out to open it, revealing a plain silver ring with promise carved upon it. He stared in disbelief for a moment, then slowly slid it on his hand.

"Yama-chan? You understood what I was asking?" His lover asked quietly. He nodded back, then was caught up in a deep, passionate kiss, all of their hearts in that embrace.

"I love you." Yamato whispered softly. He could never imagine being with anyone but his love, never ever.

"Love you too, Yama-chan." His future betrothed cuddled up against him. "Are you sure your dad won't freak if he comes home to see us like this?" A hand trailed down the strong, muscled chest and stomach of the half-breed prince as he shrugged. "You know, I'm not the type of person to do things like this. You've ruined me, you know."

Yamato raised one eyebrow. "Really?"

"Oh, yes." Eyes twinkled with glee. "I can't live without you anymore, Yama-chan."

Yamato chuckled softly. "You won't have to." He would never abandon his love. Never, ever. He moaned softly as his love moved closer, once more doing things with those fingers and hands and other things that made him fully understand why he loved them so very much. He pulled a little closer him, and started to lick a trifle on the other. He only stopped when his love claimed his lips in a kiss.

"I can think of something better you can do with your tongue, Yama-chan." His beloved purred softly, then reached out to snag a can of whipped cream sitting on the bedside table. "Please?"

Yamato needed no further urging, and sometime later, they both collapsed against each other, pleasantly sated. "You always make my body turn to Jello." His beloved moaned quietly.

"And you love it."

The other looked at him quite seriously. "No, I don't. I love you, Yama-chan." The beautiful one smiled slowly as Yamato slipped down and began to pay very special attention to the one he loved. What they said and did is no one's concern but their own, and when they were through, they snuggled quite close.

"Mmm..." Yamato purred softly. "Delicious."

"Like my cookies?" The other asked softly. Yamato grinned.

"You make the best ones."

His lover smiled warmly. "I'm just glad you enjoyed them. Did you remember to share with your band?"

"Of course!" Yamato could never forget those Christmas cookies. Better than any he'd ever had before or since, since they'd been made by his true love.

The other nodded. "You know, I ran into Taichi outside. I think he knows about us."

Yamato sighed. "I'm going to have to talk to him, I guess." That wasn't going to be easy.

"I think he was just disappointed. I think he wanted me to date him."

Yamato snuggled closer. "Too late."

"Your heart is all mine, love." The other chuckled softly, and Yamato nodded in agreement.

"You're mine and I'm yours, forever, love. One day we'll be married and have two kids...a house." The blonde daydreamed for a few moments.

His love leaned over to kiss the promise ring gently. "Two kids, huh? I was thinking maybe more." Both of them chuckled at that. "Of course, they'd be breeds, so we'll make sure they'll know about their powers. Won't leave them wondering like we were."

"Viral breeds too." Yamato recalled. They would be quite powerful too. That was a good thing.

"Of course." His lover wrapped arms around him. "My Mega, my heart, my musician, my life." Yamato smiled; who would have ever guessed his love could be this eloquent?

"My beautiful love." He kissed them softly and tenderly, savoring the sweetness of their lips.

The other smiled tenderly. "You always exhaust me, love."

"Let's get some sleep then," Yamato decided as they cuddled into each other.

His love nodded sleepily. "I'm almost as tall as you are now, you know..."

"Growing little weed," Yamato chuckled softly as they kissed once more.

"Good night, Yama-chan."

"Good night, my love."
