Takeo - My first Yamajyou. Warnings of lime.
Rainy Day
Jyou Kido yawned as he rolled out of bed. The morning was grey and grisly and the pitter patter of rain on the metal roof sounded musical to Jyou's ears. Pale ivory hands fumbled around on a nightstand, picking up a pair of glasses. Jyou sat up in bed, sheets twisted around his naked form as he brushed back long dark cobalt locks. His dark eyes rimed with blue widened as Jyou slipped on his glasses and he yawned. He walked through his apartemnt naked and into his bathroom where his routine began. He took off his glasses and brushed his teeth. He turned on the hot taps and stepped into the shower, his skin turning a warm pink several minutes later when he emerged in a cloud of steam. With a towel draped around his waist and his glasses forgotten on the sink, Jyou padded his way to the kitchen to make himself some breakfast. He flicked on the radio and opened the window so that he could smell the rain. Jyou Kido smiled.
"This is Saturday Morning weather on Japan's #1 radio staion. It's wet and sloppy out there so stay indoors. There are great movies on tv tonight and talk shows during the day. Stay tuned in the next hour for music news." The announcer blared a bit too cheerily for the day's weather. Jyou poured water into his kettle and lit the stove. There was a knock at the door and Jyou walked to the door. He gazed through the peephole and saw a blond head. Must be Takeru. Jyou mused as he opened the door. His eyes had deceived him when he realized that at his doorstep stood Yamato Ishida, long time digidestined and lead singer in one of the most famous bands in Japan, the Buki. The same Yamato Ishida was soaked from head to toe and he offered a smile.
"May I come in?" Yamato asked. Jyou shook himself out of his shock and stepped aside.
"Yes, please come in. I haven't seen you in at least 7 years. Forgive my surprise." Jyou replied, an inch of sacrcasm to his words as the blond entered.
"Same old Jyou." Yamato replied as he took off his raincoat.
"The bathroom is the first door on the hallway to your right. Just hang up your wet clothes there. I'll get something from my closet for you to wear." Jyou said as he hurried to his room and went through his closet, picking a pair of black tousers with a matching long sleeve shirt that were too large for Jyou. "Yamato seems slightly bigger than I, so this must do." Jyou spoke as he closed the closet door.
"Are you planning on walking around in a towel all day?" Yamato asked as he entered Jyou's room. Jyou blushed. He had been so preoccupied in his Saturday morning routine to notice that he was under dressed for a guest. "I usually don't have visitors around this hour." Jyou replied as he handed Yamato the clothes, blushing as he left his room to allow Yamato some privacy. Yamato sighed as he got dressed, the smell of Jyou's cologne wafting faintly in the room. Yamato inhaled for a moment, enjoying the fragrance, his mind drifting to the thought of being in Jyou's private space.I hope that our reunion won't be too awkward...showing up unexpected and unannounced...but I have to do this right...but it seems that I may have come years too late. Yamato left the room and went into the dining room where Jyou sat, dressed in a button down white shirt and a pair of blue jeans. His feet were bare, and they rested against the polished wooden floor of the kitchen area, two cups of steaming tea resting on the table. Yamato's voice caught in his throat as Jyou lifted his head, wavy long cobalt locks grazing over Jyou's ivory face, his dark blue eyes in a smile and his delicate lips parted in a smile.
"I wouldn't mind coming home to that everyday." Yamato whispered as he forced himself to sit down at the chair that Jyou gestured to.
"Did you say something Yamato?" Jyou asked as he sipped his tea, his eyes drifting over Yamato.
"Just thinking. Thanks for the tea." Yamato replied as he forced himself to focus on his tea cup.
"Oh...I thought that your group Buki was on tour in England. What happened?" Jyou replied as he stared at Yamato's hands, a bit callused from playing his guitars without picks on occasion.
"We took a break. I needed to be inspired to write and what not. I've been feeling kind of glum, so I came back home and walked around, and I found my way here. Thankfully, I didn't run into any overzealous fans." Yamato replied, his sparkling blue eyes fixed on Jyou's hair.
"Oh. If you must know, everyone is doing fine. I'm an assistant vet at the local hospital." Jyou replied with a smile.
"Doing the good work. I'm not surprised. But are you happy there?" Yamato asked.
"Yes. In a way, I'm doing what my father wants, but fulfilling my own desires as well. I've never thought myself to be bad Yamato, but after my father died, I felt free." Jyou spoke, his eyes dropping down to his plate.
"Jyou, you aren't a bad person. Your father was a bastard for treating you the way he did. We were all glad when you moved away from home." Yamato spoke seriously as his fingers wrapped tightly around his cup. Jyou looked up.
"Thanks Yama-kun. I appreciate it. But let's move away from that topic. How are you and Taichi doing? I haven't heard from him in a while too." Jyou asked as he rose from his seat and walked back into the kitchen to get more milk and sugar.
"We broke up a while ago. I still care about him as a friend, but being lovers wasn't a good idea. We were both too hot headed." Yamato replied as he relived that painful bit of history. Jyou froze for a moment but regained his composure.
"I'm sorry that it didn't work out." Jyou replied. Yamato ran a hand through his blond locks, his eyes roving over Jyou's profile. Gods, you look even more beautiful than I ever imagined. You lock yourself up in your work, never opening up. I'm here now Jyou, here to take what I've always wanted. Jyou came back to the table, biting his lips nervously. He had never expected to see Yamato ever since he entered the music business. That way, he could always admire the man he secretly loved without being persecuted for it. And right now sat the object of his affections, his golden hair sweeping gently over his sparkling blue eyes, his tanned form draped languidly across his dining room chair. Get a grip Jyou, he only came to say hi. Besides, he can have his pick of any person on the planet, why would he want plain old Jyou? Jyou shut his eyes, ignoring the biting sarcasm that his mind spoke with.
"Hey, do you feel like going out? There's this really nice restaurant that's really good. Instead of being stuck here doing nothing all day." Yamato suggested as he drained his cup of tea.
"That would be nice I guess. I'm off work today so we can go now if you would like." Jyou spoke as he rose from his chair.
"Then it's a date." Yamato spoke as he too rose from his seat. Jyou blushed hotly, trying not to imagine the possibilities.
"Whatever you say Yamato." Jyou replied in a playful manner, smiling as he grabbed his coat. The two men left the apartment, umbrellas shielding out the rain as they made their way into the hustle and bustle of Tokyo.
*****************************
The restaurant sat in the penthouse of an elegantly designed hotel overlooking Tokyo. When they arrived, Yamato was instantly hustled to the best table of the restaurant, the restaurant staff gushing with excitement that there was a star in their midst. They paid special attention to their beloved idol's guest and conceded that his companion was quite a beauty in his own right.
"Wow, if this is what it's like to be rich and famous I should try it someday." Jyou remarked as he and Yamato sat at a table, in their own private room.
"It's not all it's cracked up to be. It's get hard because everyone wants something from you and people can't give you want you crave." Yamato spoke as he looked into Jyou's eyes, trying to catch a glimpse of Jyou's thoughts.
"You can be a nobody and experience that too." Jyou replied as servers came in and placed all sorts of food before them.
"This is the house wine, and it's quite good. The manager says that the meal is on him to have such an esteemed quest here." the head server spoke as he filled Yamato and Jyou's glasses with a bubbling white wine. He bowed and left.
"Funny fellow, don't you think?" Yamato asked as he picked up his glass and held it up. Jyou did the same and their glasses clicked.
"To a great friend, loved and admired by all." Jyou spoke with a gentle smile.
"To old reliable Jyou, whom I can always count on." Yamato replied. The two sipped their drinks, the bubbly feeling filling Jyou's entire being. He drank a bit more, the sweet liquid deceptively hiding that he was chugging it down.
"I rarely drink, but this stuff is good." Jyou spoke as he laughed, feeling a bit giddy.
"You weren't supposed to drink it like that silly. Eat some food to balance it out." Yamato spoke as Jyou forced himself to regain a hold of his senses and sample some of the delicious food laid out before him. Their meal continued among the din of cutlery and the sound system playing softly in the background.A slow song came on, the male singer's voice clearly engrossed in a sad manner, singing the loss of his lover.
"I really like this song. Do you know it?" Jyou asked as he took off his glasses and placed it beside his empty wine glass.
"I've heard of him. Would you like to dance?" Yamato asked as he rose from his seat and stood at Jyou's side.
"Here?" Jyou squeaked. He only danced in the privacy of his own home, where nobody could see him.
"I'll guide you. Come on." Yamato spoke, his voice so low and husky that it sent shivers down Jyou's spine. Jyou nodded and got to his feet. He felt Yamato's arms wrap around him, and he rested his head on Yamato's shoulder, his hands resting on Yamato's shoulders. The song was sweet and sad and the two men drifted on the carpeted floor, their shoes long discarded at the door when they entered the restaurant. Jyou sighed softly. He had never been this close to Yamato, never felt Yamato's heart beating so closely to his. Only in the digital world, only in years long past. Jyou's mind whispered sleepily. Yamato leaned closer to Jyou, catching cobalt eyes that were slowly welling with tears.
"I don't know what's coming ovee me. I'm sorry for being such bad company." Jyou spoke as he wiped his tears away.
"Don't apologize Jyou, you've always been great to hang out with. I confess I have another reason for coming back to Tokyo." Yamato spoke as Jyou pulled away from him.
"You said you needed to be inspired." Jyou replied with a puzzled expression on his face.
"For months, I've been writing love songs, words from my heart, hoping, yearning that the person I love, would need me as much as I needed them. I came here because I wanted to tell him that I loved him, that he had become so vital to me that if I didn't see him, I would be stricken with grief." Yamato spoke as his fingers brushed Jyou's tears away. Jyou's heart fell. He's in love with Taichi...
"You came back for Tai?" Jyou asked, barely able to get the words out.
"No!" Yamato said as he shook his head fervently," I came back for you." he whispered, brushing his lips over Jyou's, his lips asking for entrance. Jyou's lips parted, his arms holding unto Yamato for dear life. Yamato devoured Jyou's mouth, Jyou moaning softly from the intensity of the kiss. Yamato's hands were wound in Jyou's hair, feeling the silky strands slid between his fingers. Jyou's hands rested on Yamato's neck, gently exploring his love's neck. Yamato nibbled Jyou's bottom lip as they slid to the floor, Jyou trapped beneath Yamato as the blond's calloused hands slid up Jyou's slim jean clad legs.
"Yama-chan." Jyou half moaned as he opened desire clouded eyes. Yamato sighed, his own eyes opening as he lay on Jyou, feeling their heart beats.
"I love you Jyou. You'll all I think about. You're all I see at night. Gods, I thought I was 7 years too late. I prayed Jyou. I actually prayed that whatever powers that be...that I could tell you that I loved you, that it didn't matter if you didn't love me back." Yamato spoke fervently as he stole another breath taking kiss from Jyou.
"But Yama, I *do* love you. Ever since the digital world." Jyou replied, his dark eyes searching Yamato's. Yamato smiled, his fingers tracing Jyou's jawline, dropping kisses as he went.
"Ai shiteru Jyou-chan. I always will." Yamato whispered as he kissed Jyou hungrily, his hands roaming over Jyou. Jyou wrapped his arms around Yamato, pulling the blond closer.
"I love you too Yama-chan. But could we please get off the floor, we have some company." Jyou spoke as he gestured to the server who was glued to the spot, her eyes wide from the shock of seeing the two men kissing on the floor. Yamato laughed and obeyed Jyou's wishes, picking his love off the floor.
"We'll be taking our leave now miss." Yamato spoke as he winked at the girl. Grabbing Jyou's hand, the two sprinted to the elevator and headed down.
