You were my best friend back when it wasn't cool to have a girl for a best friend

yet i could never have receive more loyalty and comradery from any other.

You became my partner in both crime and in life.

And for that I was lucky.

You were my teacher in the classroom of life.

Through you I grew to know the lessons of life you can only learn through the act of sharing them.

You educated me to what it is to love something more then there words could explain

because that is what i grew to feel for you, something words can't express.

And for that I am grateful.

You were my heart of hearts and soul of souls.

I don't know at what moment I first fell in love,

yet as the years passed I discovered that my love for you knew no limitations.

I grew to cherish you in every aspect that love could be applied.

you were and are the missing piece of my existence.

for that I am devoted.

You were the most beautiful bride I have ever known.

I see you in that dress with flowers in your hair every time I close my eyes.

You made my world real that day you agreed to spend your life with me.

for that I am awestruck..

And now here I sit in the hospital waiting room with more fear then I have ever known.

I try to cling to courage as I reflect over a life well spent,

a life spent with you.

I recall my past that was spent by your side, a past I treasure above all else.

I could recall first kisses or passionate nights, but I'm afraid I have no more time to write.

I need to go see you now,

so you can introduce me to our baby girl.
