Chapter 5: "DarkMyotismon vs Taichi"
WarGreymon statrted the attack with a quick punch at the demon. Myotismon dodged the blow and flew up high in the air. "Is that all you got WarGreymon? I am not even working up a sweat here!"
WarGreymon held up his hands. "Terra Force!!" with the huge orb in his hands, he threw it at Myotismon, with him flying back from the blast.
WarGreymon didn't hesitate as he sent a punch to the shadow vampire, making him fly back farther. DarkMyotismon stopped hovering backwads and looked at the digimon. "You think that can stop me? Think again!" he shouted as he flew above WarGreymon. "Midnight Lightning!" he shouted. The attack was like the crimson beam before, but it was jet black. He hit WarGreymon in the face, sending him to the ground with a loud noise and shaking.
The group tried to stay standing from the shaking. WarGreymoon stood up and leaped at the digimon. Soon, the fight became mortal kombat as they slashed, punched, and kicked each other. Tai looked as the fight became more and more challenging to his friend. He than looked at his team as they all were shocked to see the fight.
"You guys better leave here now. Your purpose has been completed here." Tai said to his team still looking at the fight.
"Tai, we are not leaving." Sora exclaimed.
Tai then gazed at the team, with his blue eyes glaring at them. "You must leave now. I don't want no one here to get injured. Go!"
The group knew that they had to. They hesitated as they saw the braw in the air.
"Go!!" Tai repeated.
The gang slowly ran off, away from the attack. Matt turned around and saw Tai, looking right at him. He felt strange, feeling like that he should be there with him, by his side and fighting along side; but he knew that would be impossible. He shook off the thought as he looked ahead, hopefully to find a safe place for the others to hang out.
Tai stared at Matt until he wasn't seen over the horizon. There was something about him that made Tai so fond of him. He couldn't explain it. He just felt something inside of himself that Matt should be there right next to him. However, without MetalGarurumon to help, Matt wouldn't stand a chance. He thought that this would be for the best. He once again looked at the fight to be in shock. WarGreymon was sent flying high in the air, beaten and almost dying.
"Wargreymon!!" Tai saw WarGreymon di-digivolving back to his Agumon stage, falling from the night sky. Tai ran to him and catched him. "Agumon, speak to me! Agumon!"
Agumon groaned a bit and opened his eyes. "I always seem to let you down Tai, even myself."
"Agumon you didn't let me down. I knew that this would happen, and you did what I wanted you to do for me. You made him a bit tired. Thanks."
Agumon smiled and closed his eyes to go into a peaceful rest. He slept soundly as he placed Agumon on the ground. Tai became ferious. He wanted to get Myotismon back for everything that he ever done to anyone. "Myotismon, it is just you and me now!"
Tai held out his hand with the crest in it. He held it up high as the crest slowly took another form; the blade that he used before. "You will be punished again for your evil ways Myotismon. This time you will not escape your fate."
DarkMyotismon just shruged it off his shoulders. "Your feeble words do not please me Courage. Perhaps I will crush you and take your soul before you yourself realize."
Tai growled under his breath. He knew that he had to be cautious about this fight. Without the power of the crests to form the complete blade, it wouldn't be enough. And with that in mind, he wasted no time as he leaped at the digimon, his blade out ready to take anything that Myotismon would throw at him.

Matt and the others stopped at the park, not to far from the battlefield. It was so close, that they saw the fight between digimon and warrior.
"Was it just me, or was Tai speaking out of character?" Davis asked the others, woth his eyes focused on the battle as sword and powers collided.
Izzy gazed at the boy. "That person fighting is no longer the Tai that you know. He is now Taichi, a digimon warrior who defeated the evil in the digital world."
"That's Taichi?!" Davis, Yolei, Cody, and Ken asked outloud. THey were amazed at what they saw.
"But- but he doesn't look like what I pictured him Izzy." Cody said. "He looks just like Tai."
"I know Cody. However, that is Taichi."
"That is just wierd though. I just hope that he can do it by himself." Yolei said as she gazed at the battle scene.
They continued to watch the fight as Taichi leapt in the air and tried a swing with his sword at DarkMyotismon. Myotismon saw this coming as he dodged the attack by flying higher in the night sky.
Matt felt so guilty. He felt like that he was letting his friend die again. He just wanted to be there for him and help him, however, he knew that he wouldn't be of any help; only be in the way. Without MetalGarurumon, he would be a perfect thing for a blackmail if Myotismon caught him. "I wish there was something I can do. I want to help him."

Taichi shuddered a bit while landing on the ground. He felt a soul's confidence dropping in the distance. By judging it, he knew it had to be Matt. Since they gave him there crest powers, he knows when ones spirit is normal or not.
"Is Courage getting preoccupied in something other than the fight for your life? Such a pity. Midnight Lightning!"
Taichi didn't get any time to react, for the dark attack hit him square in the chest, electrifying every nerve in his system as he flew back from the attack. He landed on the tary ground, showing some crimson blood from the scrapes of his body.
"Well, it seems that you got a charge out of my little move, eh Courage? Your blood must be boiling and just the thought of that seems so, delightful." DarkMyotismon chuckled under his breath.
Taichi stood up and gazed at the digimon in disgust. As he looked up at the digimon, he noticed a few signs of a storm approaching. He didn't care about the storm, but the one who seemed to be causing it. "That's it. I had about enough of you and your talk Myotismon."
He held up his blade as it began to glow the crests colors again. "I will personally see to it that you will not come back again; and I will make sure of that. Ensealment Hold!"
The blade grew a few feet taller as the power began to increase with every second, with it glowing pure orange.
Myotismon chuckled. "You think that you can defeat me just like that? Think again!" He hollered.
He raised his hand down towards his prey as it began to glow the color of darkness. "Energy diminisher!!" The glow that surrounded the hand soon flew at Taichi.
Taichi gasped as he knew that he couldn't dodge with him powering up for his move. He had no choice but to endure the attack that was being thrown at him. He closed his eyes and hoped for the best.
