Ok after long waiting here is the second chapter. This story was originally meant to be a one shot, but know I think I will continue this story for as long as you read and review. I hope I made it better than the last time, but writing stories in English is not easy for me, cause English is my second language. But I am creating a better plot for this story.

Ruki's Birthday Chapter 2

Ruki woke up with a smile on her face. Man that was a nice dream. Too bad it wasn't real. She stretched and her hand touched something furry and fluffy. She slowly turned around an saw the sleeping form of Renamon at her side. Or was it real? She noticed that he had put his tail around her waist and was holding her close. "Good morning Ruki-chan. Have you slept well?"

"Yes Renamon, I did and I think it was due the fact that you were sleeping at my side."

"Rika, when are you planning to tell your mother and grandmother about me and us?"

Ruki sat up in her bed and thought about Renamons question.

That is a good question. But how should I tell them? 'Hey grandma, mom, I want to tell you something. My boyfriend is a huge digital fox, I hope you don't mind. By the way, we are having sex.' No they would surely freak out and try to take him away from me. I think the best is we keep it a secret for now.

"I don't know how to tell them, but I will. But not now. I must wait for the right moment."

Renamon nodded. Ruki stood up and walked to the door.

"I don't mind that, but I bet Guilmon and Terriermon could tell from the smell and they would tell their Tamers."

"Well I think we owe you an explanation. Ok at first. His name is Renamon. He is a digimon, short for digital monster. He is not a kitsune, only his body was created to look like one."

Hata found it hard to believe her granddaughter, but she did.

"Ok I believe you. but that doesn't explain what you two were doing in the bath tube."

Ruki blushed a deep crimson red and Renamon looked very nervous.

"Well we were... you know... "

"We mated." Renamon said to help her.

Hata looked puzzled

"Mated? You mean you slept with her?"

"I only sleep at night."

"To sleep with somebody means having sex with the person." Ruki whispered in his ear and he nodded.

"Yes I slept with her... did I do something forbidden? I don't know the laws in the human world, but in my world you are allowed to mate with the mon you love. Is there any difference in this world?"

Hata looked surprised, but relieved at the same time.

"Are you saying that you love my granddaughter?"

Renamon nodded and hugged Ruki close to his body.

"I love her with all my hearth and I would die to protect her."

Ruki smiled and kissed him on the muzzle.

"That was so sweet of you Renamon. I love you."

"And I love you, my Ruki-chan."

Rukis grandmother waited for her granddaughter to shout at the digimon for calling her Ruki-chan, but nothing happened. She just hugged the digimon and looked very happy.

"If you really love my granddaughter and she loves you then I approve your relationship."

Ruki let go of Renamon and hugged her grandmother.

"Thank you grandma. You're the best."

Renamon got up and bowed low to her.

"You are very kind Seiko Hata-sama"

She smiled at the digimon.

"Call me grandma. There is no need to be formal."

"As you wish grandma."

Hata got up and hugged the digital fox. He looked surprised, but let her hug him.

"You are the right one for my Ruki. I'm sure of that." She whispered in his ear.

Renamon smiled and hugged the old woman back.

"Thank you grandma."

Hata let go of Renamon and grinned.

"I bet you two are hungry after your 'activity' in the bath tube."

Ruki and Renamon blushed and nodded. Hata chuckled.

"Renamon, have you ever eaten a pizza?"

He shook his head no.

"Well then lets have some. Ruki, same pizza as the last time?"

Ruki nodded.

"Sure thing. And the same for Renamon. I'm sure he'll like it."

Hata called the pizza-service and ordered the pizzas. After some minutes she came back and sat down.

"The pizzas will be here in about 20 minutes. So lets kill some time and talk about how you to got to know each other."

Ruki and Renamon told her their story and Hata was impressed about her brave granddaughter and her vulpine lover who fought to save the world. Before she could ask any more questions the doorbell rang. Hata paid the pizza-boy and brought the pizzas in the living room. She gave Ruki and Renamon their pizzas and started to eat her own. Renamon looked curiously at his pizza and tasted it.

"Hmm that tastes good. But I don't know the flavor."

Ruki grinned.

"Its cheese, tomatoes, salami and garlic. (A.N.: My favorite pizza)"

They ate their pizzas in silence and after they had finished their meal they talked again, until Ruki noticed that is was 4 o'clock in the afternoon and she and Renamon had to meet with the other tamers in the park.

The told Hata that they were leaving and then hurried into the park.
