Chapter 5: Strange Events"Listen up everyone!" The camp councilor cried out trying to gather the attention of the many campers who were absorbed in their own conversations. "This is suppose to be a fun and safe camp trip, but that doesn't mean something can't go wrong. However, everything will be alright if everyone follows the rules and stays in a group. We will be hiking for about two hours before we turn around so make sure your water bottles are filled and you've all use the restroom. Now if everyone's ready, lets go.""This has got to be the worst part of this entire camping trip ever." Vincent complained after only fifteen minutes of walking up the mountain. "The only thing to do is walk and look at trees. Not very fun if you ask me.""Yeah, your right Vince." Brian agreed. "We should go over there!" And before anyone could stop him, he ran off the trail into the woods."That's not what I meant Brian!" Vincent called after him, but Brian was already out of hear shot. "Come on guys, I guess we have to go get him.""Don't you think we should get one of the camp councilors. We might not be able to find the trail again." Michelle said. She was worried that they might get lost on the second day of camp. Now that would be embarrassing. "Come on, there's no time. If auntie ever found out I let Brian get lost then she would skin me alive." Zack exclaimed pulling at his hair." Move now guys" and with that he ran off after Brian."Well we better go to because there is no way Zack has enough brain power to find his way out of a cardboard box let alone find the trail again." Sora said running after Zack and Brian."Hey come on guys! Wait up!" Oomph. "Hey why'd you stop Vince..." Michelle asked, but she didn't receive an answer."No way! It's frickin impossible!" Zack said looking out at what appeared to be an upside-down waterfall. Instead of the normal water fall in which water flowed down, this one was the opposite. The water was flowing up the cliffside defying gravity. "This breaks every law of science I know, which is only the law of gravity, but it's still breaking it.""Oh my God! He's right for once. But how can this be happening?" Sora agreed as she stared blankly at the outright wrong display of nature."Hey look at that!" Michelle yelled out while pointing to something in the middle of the small pond that the waterfall came out of. In the center of the pond was a glowing circular rainbow with a shining center. What was even worse was Brian was headed straight toward it on a few rocks in the water. "Oh God! Brian get away from that!""Don't worry B, I'm coming!" Zack said as he dove into the water and started to swim towards Brian. "Just don't get any closer to that thing!""This is fun!" Brian cheered totally oblivious to any danger. Splash! Brian had slipped on the next rock and tumbled into the water. There was a blinding flash as he hit the glowing object in the center of the pond and he was gone."What happened? Brian......Brian......Where are you? Brian!!!" Zack cried out frantically as he flailed through the water. Then in his panic he accidently touched the glowing object and with another flash he was gone as well."Holy.....What the hell is going?" Vincent shouted, but he received no answer. "I'm going after them.""No you can't!" Sora said through her sobs and crying. "What if you die? I don't want to lose you too.""It's alright!" Vincent said as he stroked her hair saying calming things. "But I have to do something. We might still be able to save them." But before they could do anything the glowing object flashed again and they were all gone.
