Okay, anyways, I guess chapter will be extra long, cause I don't know any other way to celebrate it? Maybe I'll insert a small funny as a tribute, something weird and awkward, dunno. Also, sorry about the scare on me quitting writing, shit's just been hectic.

Theme
Winners and losers, turn the pages of my life. We're beggars and choosers, with all the struggles and the strife. I got no reason to turn my head and look the other way. We're good and we're evil, which one will I be today?
There's saints and sinners, Life's a gamble and you might lose, There's cowards and heroes, Both have been known now to break the rules, There's lovers and haters, The strong and the weak will all have their day, We're devils and angels, Which one will I be today?
Are you happy now with all the choices you've made? Are there times in life when you know you should've stayed? Will you compromise and then realize the price is too much to pay? Winners and losers, which one will you be today?
There's a light and a dark side. Standing at the crossroads, there we'll meet. There's prophets and fools there. The lies and the truths, will be at our feet. I got a reason to turn my head and look the other way. Its heaven and hell here, which one will I live today?
Are you happy now with all the choices you've made? Are there times in life when you know you should've stayed? Will you compromise and then realize the price is too much to pay? Winners and losers, which one will you be today?

Chapter Eleven - UnNamed
Recap in the absence of story.
Davis had but a minute and a half, he dodged as he ran. From the stands it looked as though he were predicting their moves. Thirty seconds, faster he ran the long field, twenty-five, another dodge, twenty-three, passed, twenty, passed back. It was now or never and he knew it, but the goal was too far. He leg went up, down, it made contact and the ball flew.
It was in almost stop-motion to Davis as watched the ball fly. He saw the goalkeeper jump for it, he'd get it, and Davis knew it was over.................... The goalkeeper's fingers were on the ball, until it flew past, SCORE! Davis turned, the crowd was silent. A small smile crept at the edges of Davis' mouth, the crowd began to roar and cheer as Shinji and Masashi ran up to Davis. Shinji jumped up on Daisuke's back laughing loudly, Daisuke and Masashi were in the midst of the same.
Current Time
Davis met Jun outside the field after he changed and showered. Jun just smirked and shook her head, she didn't have to say anything; he knew immediately what she was trying to say.
”Hey, it's in my blood to show-off, it was only in good fun.” He laughed.
“Yea, yea, well, either way, I still have to get back, bye squirt and mini-squirt.”
“Bye~” Davis mocked.
“Bye aunt Jun.” Andy said oh-so happy-go-lucky even at the name. In the time Davis was watching Andy, he hadn't noticed the USA Forward walk up behind him.
“Kid's are always so cheerful huh?” He said with normal eyes and a slight smile. Davis turned to look at him, he followed the look.
“Yea, but I wish it lasted long than a few years.”
“Yea, don't I know……That was a good game, I had fun for once. It's been a long while, I'd forgotten that that was the reason I got in this career. Thank you.” Wolff held his hand out.
“Heh, I should be thanking you, my blood never boiled so much, and I've never come across someone equal to me. It was pure luck that we won.” Davis took Wolff's hand. “I can't wait to see what happens next time.”
“Same here.” Wolff turned and headed back inside.
“You know, the old Davis would've bragged to no end, you changed for the better.” Davis just kept watching the door.
“I know, trust me, I know. When you have a kid, you learn to grow up quick.” Davis said looking back at Kari.
“Yea…”
“Hey Andy, here's the keys to my go sit in there and listen to music for a minute.”
“'Kay!” He happily walked to the GTO and got in. Davis meanwhile pulled a pack of imported Camels and lit a Turkish Royal.
“Where the hell did you pick up that habit?” Kari asked.
“Around, why, do you want one?”
“I shouldn't.” She said.
“Your brother's not around.” She took the already lit cigarette from Davis' mouth.
“I was going to give you your own, but that works.” The two sat down at a close bench. They passed the cigarette back and fourth. Kari finally broke the silence.
“You know, I hardly remember what truly happened that day.” Davis knew the day she was talking about.
“I do, all too well.”
Flashback
Davis stood on the cliff, over-looking a large island. In his mind he silently fought, the others were racing around at the two laptops they had, continuously talking. The fight in his mind continued as he eliminated all sound from the outside. Flamedramon stood beside him, knowing what Davis was trying to figure out.
To the others he was just being his lazy self, thinking he knew nothing of the computers, they just ignored him. The battle in Daisuke's mind was over; he knew what he had to do. The pack on his back fell from his shoulder as he repositioned his shoulder; unzipping the pack he pulled his laptop. With the others busy, he had time to think his decision over once again. If he went through with it, they wouldn't be able to ever come back......he closed his eyes as a pain shot through his heart, many of them were good friends, friends that had helped him so many times.
“I'm sorry my friends, but this is the only way to release your pain.”
Flamedramon stood beside him; Davis sat down and opened the computer. “The decision is made... Good luck my friends.” Flamedramon thought as he watched Davis type, his arms crossed. Code after code, Davis typed, lost in his own world. After his first adventure in the Digital World Davis wanted to learn more to be of more use if such an occasion arose, this was not the way he wanted to show off his newly learned skills. He stared at the numbers for what seemed like hours, the codes that would wipe the island section in front of him, completely from the Digital World.
His finger hovered over the Enter key. He knew either way, the Digimon infected would not be reborn... Kari looked up from the shoulder of Tk... She could see the one lone tear that side from his eye, then her eyes went wide.
“WAIT, DAVIS, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” But before she could reach him, Davis let gravity take over, and the spring-loaded key went down. The code infected the other's computers within seconds. Yolie wasn't even able to decipher the code before it loaded. Tk, Yolie, Cody, Ken, and Kari stood in shook as they watched the end of the island slowly begin to burst into bits on dead data.
Davis closed the computer and placed it back into the pack. Slowly he stood up, putting the pack on his back once again. He didn't look back at the island again as he began to walk away. The last bit of data finally dissipated in front of the digidestined's eyes. The shock wore off; they turned to see Davis at the portal, already heading through.
“What the hell?!?! DAVIS!!” Tk yelled after him, they hurried to the portal, sadness had erased all rationality and soon turned to anger. They pulled their Digivices.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the portal, Davis had just appeared as they older DigiDestined ran through the door, Tai, of course in the lead. He spoke first.
“Davis? Why are you here? What happened is it worse? Kari e-mail us saying something happened, is everything alright?” He asked worried.
“Davis? What's going on?” Davis continued his closed eyed stare at the floor.
He finally spoke, “it's over.” That was all he said before he started to walk past them.
“What the hell is that supposed to mean?” Tai asked annoyed as Davis tried to pass him, “ANSWER ME!” Tai grabbed him and pushed him against the white-board. Davis looked downward to the floor.
“Why can't you look me in the eyes?” Tai asked. Before he could do anything else a bright white light flash as the others joined them.
“What happened to the island?” Tai asked immediately.
“Tai?” Kari asked, not thinking Tai would be there.
“WHAT HAPPENED?!?!” He demanded.
“It's gone.” Yolie said.
“What's gone, the virus?” Izzy questioned.
“No, the island.” Tk answered, for the silent others.
“What do you mean gone?!” Sora asked shocked.
“Gone, as in erased.” Cody said.
“But…HOW?” Joe questioned.
“We don't know, ask him.” Ken said, pointing to Davis. Davis' head shot up to look at Ken, anger in his eyes. He knew they might be angry, but he thought that at least ken would give him support. Davis bowed his head.
“Davis?” Tai asked in shock that it was one of his own that was accused. Tai let him go and back off, which the others apparently took it as he was fair game.
“WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??”Yolie yelled, anger filling her voice completely, no heart or sympathy shown in it.
“THAT WAS NOTHING BUT A COWARDLY, HEARTLESS MOVE, DAISUKE!”Kari yelled, the words hit like bullets, Davis stood shocked, others made remarks, but he just kept replaying the one. He looked down, when silence over came the atmosphere he began.
“All of you know, as well as I, there was no reversing what the hacker corrupted, if I wouldn't have done it, the virus would have spread to every Digimon alive. Losing a few 1000 is better then losing them all, right?”He looked up expecting sympathy, none was present.
“WHAT THE HELL? WHY DIDN”T YOU WAIT, WE MIGHT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!”Tai yelled.
He lost it, “........WHAT, TAI? WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE?”He looked to Izzy, “we already were at our last string, and there was nothing anyone could do. Even Genni didn't know anything to do. So tell me, was what I did wrong?...”
“Leave.” Tai said, without emotion.
“What?”
“LEAVE.” The anger inside Davis was red hot.
“Fine.” Davis turned.
“Leave the goggles.” Tai said staring straight into Davis' eyes. The anger finally boiled over. He shook his head, in almost disappointment. He pulled the goggles of his head and Tai held out his hand, though Davis' hand didn't go toward Tai's, but back as Davis reared his hand back. The goggle flew full speed at the wall, shattering at its very touch. Davis angrily turned to leave.
“DAVIS!” Tai said angrily.
Without even looking back at the Digidestined, he spoke his last words to them as their friend, “FUCK YOU TAI, FUCK ALL OF YA'LL!!”
End Flashback
Kari swallowed at the vividness in Davis' voice as he went back through what happened, his voice made it come back to life in her memories, yet she heard no anger. As if Davis were an impartial judge, maybe he really doesn't still hold a grudge.
“Maybe ya'll learned from your mistakes, maybe you won't lose another friend…” Davis stood and walked away, never once looking back to Kari. If he had, she would've seen the hurt clearly showing on his face.
