~The Big Day, Wednesday~

Tai's at his locker when some one covers his eyes with there hands "Guess who?" Mimi asked

"Um, Lucia the girl next door?" Tai said joking. "No silly it me." she turned him around and hugged him.

" This is great now we can take out relationship to the next level." she smiled " Yeah." Tai said he closed his locker door.

"Why are you so eager to get our relationship to the 'next level'?" Tai asked " Your my boyfriend we should do things together." Tai raised an eyebrow then tuned away from her.

"Yeah, .......maybe." he said " What's that supposed to mean?"

"Aaah nothing. don't get all uptight." he answered. Matt and Sora come walking up the hall hand in hand.

Tai turns around immediately. Matt saw Tai and Mimi. " Sora I'm going down stairs to the cafeteria you can come if you want." Matt said "No it's okay Matt I have to go my locker. first then maybe I'll come down or I 'll see you in biology class" She kissed him then he went downstairs.

"Okay Tai I'm going to go for the day. wanna come?" Mimi asked him " huh?" he asked "I said do you want to play hookie?" she repeated

"oh, um...not yet how about I met you at the Express." he asked "Uh sure but be there on time." she said "I will." He kissed her. then Watched her leave.

Then went after Sora. "Hey Sora." he called she turned around "Hi Tai, I want to talk to you about what happened yesterday with Matt." Tai rolled his eyes. "Yeah what about it?" he asked a bit annoyed. "You hurt his feelings Tai, he was trying to help you." Sora said

"Well I don't need his help." he turned around his back facing her "Tai you do need help, if you drink alcohol all the time it not good for you. "Tai shook his head

"Who told that? Matt did?" he questioned. "it doesn't matter we want to help." Tai angry "I don't need help Sora I'm fine nothings going to happen to me at all." Tai said

"Okay I trust you, I don't want to fight about this okay." she smiled, Tai lighted up a bit "Okay I'm fine with it I appreciated it but I don't need it. Can you tell Matt That I'm sorry about the fight and I didn't mean to say all those things to him." Sora smiled politely

"Okay I will " She walked to her class Tai watched her leave.

~lunch~

The bells rung signaling lunch time Matt caught up with Sora "Hey Matt, I spoke with Tai this morning when you left for the cafeteria and he said that he is sorry about the fight and all the things he said to you." she spoke. Matt just shrugged

"What's wrong, Matt?" she asked looking at him. "I have a bad feeling about today, I don't know why." Sora was confused by this

"What do you mean?" " ah never mind about it" he said brushing it off.

Tai walked in the Express he looked for Mimi and spotted her on the patio outside. He sat next to her she was with Deanna. "Hi girls" he said sitting.

"Hi Tai were just talking." Mimi said as the two just continued to go on about make up and clothing. "Hey how about a smoothie?"' he asked them the two nodded

"I'll have strawberry." Mimi replied "I'll have a blueberry." Deanna answered.

"Okay I'll be back in a second " Tai got up going over to the counter. "See look how cute he is" Mimi replied to Deanna

"Yeah, he's cute. but Jeff is a really cute." the two exchanged small comments back and forth.

~Evening~

" Check it out it looks wicked." Matt said he looked around the Midnight Express "Yeah," Sora said agreeing "Well come on lets get some beverages."

Sora dragged him over to the refreshment table where they met with some of Sora's teammates.

Tai and Mimi arrived there. "This place in nicely decorated" Mimi said " But Deanna isn't here." she complained "Yeah but we have to be here just for a few more hours then we can leave." Tai said

"oh okay, I'll just make use of my free time." she began to walked where Matt and Sora were with Sora's teammates. "Hi guys were here." Mimi said walking over to them Tai follow behind

"Hi" was all he said. "I'm glad you guys came." Sora said to them "Yeah My dad allowed be to come." he smiled "That's good, Then how about we start dancing instead of talking?" Matt said

"Good idea" Sora said the two walked on the dance floor, dancing to a slow song. Tai and Mimi joined. " Sora, I have that nagging feeling again. " he mention to her still dancing "Matt come on just forget about it. And enjoy the party" she said "That's the thing I can't." Sora pulled away from the embrace she kissed him. Tai watched the whole exchanged he turned his attention back to Mimi who was watching him look at Sora.

"Tai is there something I should know about?" she asked "No." he said. the music finished he guided her out of the dance floor. Sora watched wondering then decided to sneak up and listen to the conversation.

"Tai Let's go to the party now. You are obvious distracted about something you need some loosening up." Mimi said a little annoyed and angry "We'll go just as soon as the way is clear." he said.

Sora heard the whole thing was furious 'The nerve he has to do that!' she though really angry. " fine I'll be at the refreshment table." Mimi said walking over there.

Sora confronted him " I know you want to leave Tai so just leave then go to the stupid party that Jeff's throwing see if I care." she replied harshly then walked way to were Matt was chatting.

'That's fine Sora I will' Tai went over and took Mimi by the arm "Were going now!" Tai said to her "Okay just let go of my arm." she said the two exited.

"Sora what's the matter?" Matt asked "Tai was just using this party to go to Jeff's he never really wanted to be here." she said angry.

"Are you going to stay angry at him forever because of this?" he asked "Yeah just maybe if he matured long enough to understand my feelings then I wouldn't stay angry at him for this." she said.

~Booze party~

Tai and Mimi arrived Deanna met them there. "It's so cold out." Mimi replied "Yeah and I need a drink to warm me up" Tai said as he already filled up a glass of beer and chugged it down in one gulp. The then went to get another one.

"Could you hand one to me Tai?" Mimi asked "Just a little bit." she added "yeah," he replied came back handing one to her,

"Tai, come one let go up stairs."

"No, I'm still kind wired ." he said brushing her off. "fine." she said pretty angry "Look at Jeff he's trying to hit on every girl here." Deanna said angry

"Come on Deanna let go some where quite." the two girls walk leave.

Tai started to feels sick he went to the bathroom but the door was lock and some one was in there. He went back and sat on couch. Jeff came up to him "Are you okay man?" he asked " No" was Tai's response. "Don't make a mess of this carpet. Then I won't get it out." he said

he help Tai up and they walked to the patio door where Jeff shoved him out into the winter cold air. Tai threw up several times. He was too dazed to get up and go back inside. he laid down on his side his head rested on his left arm. "Just a little rest." he said then closing his eyes. He lay there unmoving the snow falling from the sky started to cover him.

Mr. Kamiya looked at the clock 10pm he decided to check on him to see if he was still there. he got up and went out the door.

Matt and Sora were dancing then they stopped went to the refreshment table. " So are you angry still?" he asked "

"Yeah." she replied " Maybe I should go there make sure he doesn't do anything he will regret." Sora looked at him weird

"Fine if you want to go so bad then go and stay there!" she said then turned away from him. Matt watched her before he left in search of Tai. Sora sighed as she went over to the tables to sit down.

Deanna and Mimi both searching for Tai but instead they find Jeff who tries to but moves on Mimi. "Ew..get away!" she said. "Come lets look up stairs Deanna." she said to her friend the two girls went up stairs looking for Tai.

Meanwhile outside on the patio Tai lay there still unmoving the snow all most blanketing him.

" Sora?" Mr. Kamiya came up to her she was surprised "Mr. Kamiya what are you doing here?" she asked

"I'm looking for Tai did you see him?" she shook her head no.

"Okay I'll look for him myself would you tell me if you see him." he asked

"Yeah I will." she replied. After minutes of looking around he couldn't find him he took his cell phone out and called Mrs.Kamiya "Anna he's not here." he said.

Matt came through the doors of the Applegates house. he bumped in to Mimi who was frantic "Where's Tai?" he asked

"I don't know he's been gone for a while now. We looked up stairs but he isn't here." she said really scared that something might have happened to him.

"Okay well maybe he went back to the Express." Matt he said.

"No he didn't his coats over there." she said point to the green coat on the couch. " Okay look do a double check I'll help." Out in the cold the snow was covering Tai slowly....

Sora walked around the closing festivities the band was packing all there instruments, everyone was cleaning. "Sora, your still here why?" Rose her friend came up to her "Yeah well I got ditched sort of." Rose looked at her confused

"Oh never mind Rose, I wasn't ditched Matt went to go find Tai and warn him that his dad was here." she said "Oh so that's why he left early I thought you guys had a fight." Sora didn't say anything about that.

"Here let me help you guys clean up." "okay sure." Rose answered.

"Any thing?" he called to Mimi who just came from her search " Who are you guys looking for if it's, Tai? the last time I saw him he need a little fresh air." Jeff said. Matt's eyes widen and quickly runs to the patio doors opening them and rushes out, Mimi follows him. "Tai! where are you Tai!" Matt calls out he looks around and finds him laying there in the snow. Matt turns him over on his back "Come Tai wake up. come on." he says

shaking him tying to get a response but he doesn't get one Matt place his figure on his neck looking for a pulse.

"He has no pulse" Matt says starting to panic. "OH MY GOD " Mimi gasps.
