Chapter 2

 

The three boys were now connected as no one before had ever been. They knew EVERYTHING about each other, every hope, fear, dream, nightmare, talent, and fault. They knew how to combine their strengths and minimize each others weaknesses. Takeru knew about Daisuke's hidden intelligence and his loneliness, he to knew all about that feeling. It was something that each boy shared; the feeling of being cut off from those around them. Daisuke learned about Takeru's feelings of inadequacy, his fear that he would always live in the shadow of his older brother. From Ken they learned about the pain of losing his older brother, of feeling like he was being forced to take his brother's place, that he could no longer be himself. And that was merely the beginning they now knew each other to the depths of their souls because they were no longer three separate souls, but rather three intertwined souls. They were three beings who had been taken apart and recombined to form one new being living in three separate bodies, each retaining their distinct personalities but they now had two other kindred spirits to help comfort and bolster them, and they were reveling in it; when suddenly another presence made itself known.

 

They heard clapping behind them toward the ocean “very well done young Dark Masters. No one has ever successfully completed that spell, yet you three performed it flawlessly, and without practice too, I'm highly impressed.”

 

The three, as one, turned to face their unknown admirer and were confronted with a HUMONGOUS squid like creature resting in the shallows. Beside it but on the shore stood a very large goat; only this goat had the head of a lion and the tail of a reptile. Takeru's childhood knowledge of myths immediately identified them as the Kraken and a Chimera. The three boys grabbed their D-3's but otherwise remained where they were. They decided to find out what the two mythological monsters wanted before doing any rash.

 

The two monsters gave nods of approval at the courage of their three chosen. “Very good, you three are everything we could have hoped for in our chosen champions. Power” the Kraken said indicating Takeru, “Knowledge” referring to both Ken and Daisuke, “and Fortitude” he with a significant glance at Daisuke. “Combine these natural traits with your new anger, malice and your will to dominate; why the Digiworld is as good as fallen. But to bring about this conquest you will need help. Therefore I grant unto you Ken Ichijouji, the War Whip of Ares, with it may you drive the digimon masses into submission. To you Takeru Takaishi I present the Spear of Taimat, may utter chaos follow in its wake. And to you Daisuke Motomiya I bequeath Ragnarok, the Sword of Loki, may it usher in a new Dark Age. With these new armaments go forth and bring new worlds under the domain of Darkness.”

[Agreed, we need to also practice synchronizing our attacks during battle so we may as well start now.]-Tak

 

Each boy opened his mind, allowing his personal weapon access so as to instruct them in its use. Within mere seconds the new Dark Lords had mastered the various ways in which their weapon could be used and they began jointly assembling an attack plan. With a ferocious cry Takeru raised his spear towards the sky where an orb of pure darkness appeared. Locking eyes with the Chimera he cast the ball of pure destruction in its direction calling out “CHAOS UNLEASHED”; the Chimera had but a moment of shock to ponder where their plan had gone awry before he was torn asunder.

 

The Kraken faired only slightly better facing off against two foes. Ken snapped his new whip in the direction of the overgrown squid causing a line of hellishly hot fire to strike it in the face. While Ken was distracting the Kraken, Daisuke had taken a running leap traveling several dozen meters into the air. He landed on the monsters upper body before planting his sword to the hilt; he then cried out “DARK LIGHTNING.” The Kraken began to immediately start smoking. Daisuke waited a few seconds before removing his sword and performing a backwards summersault landing near his two soulmates, trailing bolts of black lightning behind him. The Kraken had but a few seconds to look shocked before it crashed backwards into the sea, now a useless dead husk. The three boys took a quick inventory of each other, finding no injuries while their opponents had been completely destroyed.

 

“Well that was mildly entertaining, should we go see what else this dump can throw against us before we head back” Takeru asked.

 

“That would be the reasonable course of action; after all we might find even more weapons or armor to upgrade our already formidable strength” Ken added.

 

“Then lets rock and roll boys we've got places to demolish and monsters to destroy” Daisuke added as he bounced in place.

 

[Well it's good to know some things never change] Takeru thought to Ken.

 

\You mean he's always like this\ Ken asked back worriedly.

 

[Yes, I imagine he even tosses in his sleep] Takeru answered sounding amused.

 

{I can hear you making fun of me over there and don't think I won't get revenge when you least expect it} Daisuke shoot back hotly.

 

“You're allowed to try Dai-koi” Takeru replied with a laugh.

 

Daisuke began to pout, which the other two boys thought was quite kawaii. Just as quickly he was back to his happy go lucky self and was eager to find a new target for destruction; “hey Ken-chan do you know of any other monsters that might have treasure nearby?”

 

“Well since we're near the Dark Ocean we should see if we can find Scylla and destroy her. She has twelve feet and six heads on really long necks, each having a mouth that has three rows of teeth. Whether she has any treasure or not I don't know but it will be good practice anyway since it's not far to her lair.”

 

“Sounds like a plan to me, lets go spank some monster ass” Takeru said, sounding as enthusiastic as Daisuke, about the chance to try his new toy out on another monster.

 

~Digiworld~

 

To get from the Digi-portal to Gennai's residence the Digidestined group had to cross two sectors controlled by the Kaiser. Normally they would take this opportunity to destroy the Dark Spires in each area, but with only three combat capable digimon with them that was not an option. Instead they were forced to sneak around areas were spiraled digimon were congregated. This resulted in what normally would be a moderately difficult but short hike, becoming an all day exercise in patience. Finally as nightfall was approaching the nine weary digidestined neared the dwelling place of the entity known as Gennai.

 

“Gennai are you here!” Tai called out as they entered through the front door.

 

“Yes and I have been monitoring your progress but I cannot say with absolute certainty were your missing companions are. I do not believe that their D-3's are being blocked because they would still be detectable just not with any accuracy. So they must be either turned off, a difficult though not impossible task, or they are not in the Digiworld at all. Unfortunately my intelligence resources only covers this world so if the boys have been taken else where it will be almost impossible to track them.” Gennai told them after turning away from a bank of computers.

 

“So you already know about Dai-san and Take-kun disappearing?” Kari asked.

 

“Yes, yes that's what I said isn't it, but not to worry we do have some clues to work with so it's not entirely impossible to discover where the Digimon Kaiser is keeping them, just very difficult. Now around the time their signal was cut off a large dampening field appeared over this area here” Gennai stated indicating an area on the large displayed map. “Soon afterwards a large energy burst was detected from the same area though the cause cannot be determined from here, shortly thereafter the dampening field collapsed and no trace could be found of Daisuke or Takeru. It is my hypothesis that the Kaiser opened a gate and left for another dimension. Usually you leave and return to the Digiworld through gateway's that are kept open to anyone having the right access tools namely the digivices and the D-3s. But it is entirely possible to open a gateway to any dimension so long as you have the coordinates and enough energy to open the passageway.”

 

“Your talking weird here Gennai, you keep talking like there are other places besides Earth and the Digiworld” a confused Taichi said.

 

Most of the other kids looked just as confused, but Izzy and Iori both looked thoughtful. “You're talking about the multiverse theory, correct?” Iori asked.

 

“Yes and it's not a theory to me, it's a fact.” Seeing that the rest of the group was still lost Gennai went on to explain. “Picture it like this; imagine that all of existence is an infinitely wide, infinitely tall book, and inside that book there are an endless number of pages and each page contains a single universe. On one page is Earth on another is the Digiworld and so on and so forth. Are you beginning to understand how by using enough energy you can jump from page to page?”

 

“Wow, ouch, my head is starting to hurt” Tai complained “but I think I understand now. So is it possible to track where they might have jumped too?”

 

“If I could get some of my equipment to the location where the jump took place then I might be able to get some kind of reading. Most likely not though; I give it a seventy percent chance of failure.”

 

“Well that's still thirty percent more than we have right now. Do you need us to help you with anything, like moving equipment or something like that?” Tai asked.

 

“No, no nothing that droll my boy, I should have an answer one way or another by tomorrow afternoon digi-time why don't you come back then and we can plan some more depending on the outcome of my investigation” Gennai said while shooing the children out the door.

 

~Dark Realm~

 

{Alright!!! We took down a Black Dragon in less than thirty seconds!} Daisuke exclaimed mentally to his soulmates.

 

[Yes, and they are one of the more intelligent and aggressive breeds. He should also have a good sized hoard considering how big he was.]-Tak

 

\Why don't we proceed and find out.\ Ken replied and he lead the way deeper into the former lair of the dragon. They rounded a bend and came upon a sight that stopped them dead in their tracks. Inside the huge cavern were piles of gold and jewels, armor and weapons, and various other items they could scarcely identify.

 

“Holy shit!!! we hit the mother lode, those other monsters didn't have jack compared to this. Good call Take-koi.” Daisuke said as he enthusiastically pulled his blond love into an impromptu victory dance. “We need to start working on a semi-permanent gateway from our base to here so we can use our digimon slaves to haul it there.” Daisuke said without a second thought to how vastly different his attitude was from just a week ago when he would have rather died than force anybody to do his bidding.

 

\Agreed we should return to the Digiworld anyway and find out what your bratty former comrades are up to. We can introduce them to our new alliance and our might.\

 

[Yes I agree but first lets see if we cannot each find some kind of souvenir to take back to help us until we return. Who knows we might find something that is actually useful in amongst all this glittering gold.]

 

The three boys split up and began examining some of the armor and weapons to see if any of it would prove useful or if they were just decorative. Daisuke was the first to uncover something of interest. Calling out to the other two he held up an armguard inscribed with artistic runes. “Very pretty Dai-koi but does it do anything useful?” Ken asked sarcastically.

 

“Oh ye of little faith” Daisuke shot back as he attached his prize to his left forearm. “Okay Take-koi throw something at me.”

 

Takeru hefted a good sized jewel, reared back and hurled it at the red-head with all his strength. As the stone neared Daisuke a barely visible circle about twenty inches in diameter appear in front of his raised arm. The jewel struck the circle causing a visible ripple to radiate from the impact site while the jewel fell harmlessly to the ground. “How's bout that!” Daisuke said ecstatically.

 

\Okay I take it back I'm impressed\ Ken thought to his mate while thoughtfully examining the piece of armor. “I might be able to replicate this barrier. That will give each of us another form of protection against attacks.”

 

[Um, Dai-koi not to sound stupid or anything but how did you know it would do that?] Takeru asked with a frown.

 

“Huh, wha…, oh I read the little description card attached to the inside.” He began to laugh when the other two gave guilty blushes “you never looked that closely at the things you were picking up did you?”

 

“Um, no not really” Ken answered picking back up the circlet he had glanced at then discarded. Takeru was giving the dagger he was holding a more thorough examination when he to found a slip of paper stuffed inside the sheath. It read, poison dagger- even a small scratch to the victim will result in death within a day if the antidote is not consumed. He shuddered after reading that and decided that while he might be cruel and vindictive, even he was not that bloodthirsty. He secured the knife tight inside its sheath then stuck it down the back of the waistband of his pants so he could safely dispose of of it later. Snooping around further Takeru found a set of half spherical shaped devices that had the kanji for lightning on one and wind on the other. The attached tag stated that the device was called Tensouyoku¹. It attached to the wearers shoulder blades and gave that person the power of flight and control over lightning and wind. [To cool] he thought [hey Ken come help me for a minute.] After he handed the objects to Ken he removed his shirt and ignoring Daisukes shout of “beef-cake!” he instructed his dark haired mate in the positioning of his new `wings'. They went on surprisingly easily; all Ken had to do was hold them against Takeru's back and they fastened themselves to his skin by some unknown method. Takeru concentrated and a set of ebony wings about ten feet in length but only a foot across unfolded from the two rounded apparatus's outer edges. The wings themselves were sectioned into two pieces; the smaller pieces rose up above his shoulders and attached to the actual wings via two rods. There seemed to be no possible way that such small wings could lift the approximately one hundred pound boy but a few seconds later, after some concentration on Takeru's part, he was boosted up on a rush of air and began soaring effortlessly around the room before coming in for a perfect landing beside his two awestruck lovers.

 

“Man that is so awesome. What else can they do?” Daisuke asked the thoroughly excited Takeru.

 

“Well according to the description this baby gives the wearer the power to manipulate both wind and lightening” Takeru informed his companions.

 

The three enthusiastic boys continued their search for another hour but only came up with a few more immediately useful items. One was named Kukimurasakiiro or Violet Air and it was simply a violet colored disk about two meters in diameter that could carry up to two passengers through the air. Though it had no visible means of propulsion it was capable of going through some amazing maneuvers while keeping its passengers securely anchored. Ken took primary possession of this item. Another item that Daisuke came across was something called the Butsu Zoka or boost boots and they gave the wearer an overall speed increase of about twenty percent when activated. The final piece of equipment they uncovered during their rushed search was discovered by Takeru. It was a set of wrist braces that increase the wearers attack power tenfold. They bore the name Tensoraryu or Heavenly Sky Dragons.

 

“When we get back to the digital world and get a sustained portal opened up to these rooms we can send our digimon slaves back here to gather up the rest of this treasure and equipment. After it is has been stored in our fortress we can take our time sorting out the useful items from the ornate ones and such” Ken told his two soul mates. \Now hold on to my shoulders and follow my lead. It takes a fair amount of concentration and energy to rip through the dimensional barriers.\

 

Once the three were in position Ken pulled out his D-3 and began mentally tracing his route back to the digital world. There were no flashing lights or loud noises; the boys were in one place, and in the next moment they were in another room that though familiar to all only one had seen with his own eyes before. Namely the control room of the Kaiser's flying fortress.

 

“Nice place you've got here, though the color scheme could use some enhancements” Daisuke quipped after taking a leisurely look around.

 

“Sorry you disapprove but I've been a little busy these past few months dealing with the two of you and the rest of your group of troublemakers” Ken commented dryly while moving over towards a computer screen to check on the status of his growing empire. “That no longer matters now that the three of us are together. After all it's not like the others will be much of a challenge to remove with our combined powers. Speaking of the others, they are not in any of the areas in which I have placed active sensors. So until they open a digi-portal or travel inside of one of our controlled areas we won't be able to pinpoint their locations.”

 

“Well in that case why don't we all go take a leisurely bath and then retire to the bedroom to… entertain ourselves… and perhaps get some rest, later?” Takeru suggested with a salacious grin. “Besides it not like they will be able to hurt anything with just three digimon. We can afford to take our time dealing with them, and this gives us more time to enjoy each others company.” With that comment the blond walked out the door and began making his way towards the bathroom area with Daisuke hurrying to follow after him.

 

“Wormmon, stay here and monitor the situation. You will come inform us if anything of importance happens, no matter what time it is, where we are, or what the three of us happen to be doing.” Ken told the little digimon that had wandered in shortly after their arrival. The dark headed boy paused at the door and turned back to face his digimon with a hesitant look on his face “and Wormmon one more thing… thank you. I… missed you.” With that the young man strolled out the doors leaving a shock digimon partner behind him.

 

“Ken-chan!” the little creature said softly. “So you have ensnared two of the digidestined and bound them to you, but in doing so you have also bound yourself to them and no matter how dark their souls may have become there will always be a little bit of light inside them the same way there is a part of you that still holds onto the light. Maybe together the three of you can come back from the darkness.” For now the content digimon turned its attention back to the monitors to do its master's bidding.

Ken entered the bathroom to find Takeru filling the huge circular tub with water and Daisuke pulling out various bathroom amenities. The red head turned and tossed a container of bath salts to his blond partner before grabbing several towels and washcloths and setting them on a shelf near the bathtub. Daisuke also grabbed a container of body wash and a luffa and tossed them into the steaming water. Ken had already slipped off his shoes and socks and was in the process of slipping his shirt over his head when he felt a pair of hands encircle him from behind to caress his chest and a slim, muscular chest press up against his back. \Takeru\ he mentally sighed as he identified his companions touch. Ken closed his eyes, allowing himself to enjoy the feeling of being close to someone he loved. He had not felt like this since his older brother had passed away, especially considering that his own parents were not touchy feely people.

 

Ken suddenly felt another nude form press against his front and he instinctively wrapped his arms around the slim waist of his red-headed love. {Don't worry koi} Daisuke sent to the two of them {we know how you feel, after all we both have some of those same problems ourselves. We have each other now and nothing will ever separate us from one another. Now let us cheer you up} Daisuke said mentally as he pulled his two soulmates towards the bathtub. Reaching the edge of the tub the blond slid his dexterous fingers around the fastenings of the dark-haired boy's pants and soon had them deposited on the floor leaving the three of them gloriously nude.

 

Daisuke was the first to step over the rim of the tub and slid down into the warm waters embrace. Keeping his taller koi's hand in his Daisuke gently encouraged Ken to take up a position in front of him and then pulled him backwards to rest against his chest. Takeru entered the circular tub and moved to lie with his head resting upon Ken's chest, allowing the buoyancy of the water to take some of his weight off the two boys he loved most in all the worlds.

 

After several minutes of this Takeru sat up and grabbed the luffa and the body wash. He prepared both and then proceeded to sponge the soapy lather gently across his dark-haired lover's chest. Daisuke kept a loose grip on Ken's waist as Takeru lifted one of Ken's arms and washed it before tracing a path across his chest to repeat his actions on the other side. Finishing the front Takeru pulled his koi up into a loving embrace as he pressed their lips together in a gentle yet passionate kiss while at the same time he handed the luffa to the amused red-head giving him a chance to continue the bath along their mate's backside. Daisuke quickly finished the job before giving himself an equally quick scrub down. He then pressed his body up again Ken's rear, allowing the slightly older boy to feel his growing interest in his and Takeru's water sports.

 

Ken moaned into his blond lover's mouth and swiftly brought his hands into actions. With one hand he began to trace patterns along the back of the boy before him and with the other he explored his other lover's hips and thighs. \Somehow I have become the submissive one in this gambit, and I don't mind one bit\ Ken thought.

 

[Of course you don't mind, because you trust us not to hurt you. Besides you know that it will prove beneficial to relinquish control to someone else for a short while] Takeru told the one he held in his arms as he lowered him down to remove the soap before it had time to dry.

 

{Yeah koi, just leave everything to us} Daisuke thought happily while he helped stabilize Ken inside the slippery tub. After the three had rinsed off Daisuke grabbed the extra bottle that he had laid on the rim of the tub. He brought his mouth back to Ken's neck and attempted to finish the mark he had begun to apply earlier. He spread some of the water resistant gel from the tube onto his fingers and began caressing the opening of the dark-haired boy before him. Slipping one finger into the relaxed hole he proceeded to stretch his lover for what was to come.

 

As interested as he was in the moans coming from his older koi's mouth, Takeru decided that he wanted to join in on the fun instead. He grabbed the floating bottle of lube and spread some on Ken hand. He then straddled the dark-haired boy's knees and brought the slick hand around to his rear. Ken soon understood just what his blond mate wanted and commenced to prepare him as well.

 

Daisuke pulled away from his assault on Ken's neck to view the seductive dance his two koi's were engaged in. Both boys were tired of the teasing they were receiving. They wanted to the experience the real thing right now. “Dai-chan if you don't get your fingers out of my ass and replace them with something else right now I promise you I will hurt you.”

 

Takeru panted his agreement “Please Dai-chan hurry up…need you Ken… love you both… please…now.”

 

Daisuke gladly granted his lover's wishes. He grabbed the lube and slathered a handful onto his straining manhood. Once he was sufficiently slicked up he grasped Ken by the hips and maneuvered him until he was positioned directly above his lap. He helped hold Ken up so that he did not hurt himself by taking the red-heads erection to fast. But soon enough Ken gave a sigh of happiness as he felt himself settle completely onto his koi's lap.

 

Now it was Takeru's turn to take his lover inside of him. Daisuke and Ken fought their instincts to begin moving as they waited for their other lover to settle into position. Takeru moved until he was above both Ken and Dai, and once he felt himself come into alignment with Ken's manhood he relaxed his muscles and swiftly allowed himself to sink down until he completely sheaved Ken's erect cock.

 

Now that they were all ready they could give themselves over to the wonderful new sensations they were feeling. Daisuke moved them around until Takeru was lying against the side of the tub with Ken positioned above him, and Daisuke behind Ken. Daisuke pulled himself and Ken off of Takeru before settling back into the tepid water to rest for a few minutes. After regaining their senses the boys used a washcloth to clean up the mess their activities had made before climbing out of the tub and drying each other off. They left their dirty clothes and damp towels in the bathroom as they walked naked through the halls of the Kaiser's fortress until they came to their bedroom. There they slipped into the bed and in a tangle of happy sated limbs they soon slept the sleep of the content.
