Sorry…

"Yamato, please I'm sorry," Taichi said standing at the doorway of their apartment.

They had been together for 6 months and only a few small fights. The little fights were all over stupid things like one of them cheeking out someone on the street or for one of them saying something stupid or for one of them getting upset over something totally different and the other one only getting them madder when trying to make the other feel better.

Matt continued walking down the hall not even glancing back. Tai fell to his knees tears running down his face. He leaned on the door, "Please Matt, I love you," he said not sure if Matt could hear him.

Matt stopped in front of the elevator and pressing the button, "I'll talk to you in a while," he said walking into the elevator.

Taichi jumped up and ran to the elevator but by the time he got there it was closed. He banged on the door and fell to his knees leaning his head on the door, "Please Yamato, come back, I love you," the tear dripped off of his face onto his jeans.

"Tai? Tai are you ok?" Joe's voice came from behind him.

Taichi stood up and slowly walked down the hall and into his apartment. He closed the door and went over to the couch. Lying down he started crying his eyes out. It was Izzy's fault not his but yet Yamato wouldn't talk to him.

Izzy had invited Yamato and him over to have a few drinks after class. They had both accepted and headed over after their last class, math. To make a long story short, Izzy had gotten him drunk and as soon as Yamato went to the bathroom. Izzy kissed Taichi and since Tai was so drunk he didn't know whom he was kissing and thought it was Yamato. When Matt came out of the bathroom he saw Izzy and Tai kissing. He had pulled Izzy off Tai and punched him. He helped Taichi walk home and stayed there the night but when the morning came and Tai woke up he left.

Tai stayed there letting tears drip off of his face onto the arm of the couch, "Please come back Yamato," he said to himself.

Through the hours on laying there crying he fall into a deep sleep.

Hours later Tai's eyes slowly opened and he glanced up at the cloak, "noon…" he said to himself.

He slowly stood up and headed into his bedroom. He pulled off his shirt and reached for another one pulling it on he searched for another pair of jeans. Pulling a pair out of his bottom drawer he discarded his pair he had on. He pulled his pants on and walked into the bathroom. He looked at himself and thought `Matty has to hate me, how can he look at me? I must have broke his heart,' Tai drop his head. Slowly he lifted his head turned on the sinks tap. Cupping his hands he splashed water on his face. He fixed his hair and headed to the door. He put on his shoes and headed out the door. He headed down the hall to the elevator and pressed the button. He waited till the elevator doors opened then stepped in. He pressed the button then walked to the back of the elevator and looked at the ground. When the doors opened a familiar voice spoke, "Hey Tai."

Taichi raised his head and when he saw the person in front of him he swung his fist and punched him in the face sending the man to the ground. "You stay the hell away from me and Yamato," he said walking over Izzy whom lied on the ground.

Tai walked down the hall and out the doors. He headed down the street and looked into the window of a small Tim Horton's on the corner of the street. He stared at Matt whom sat at the counter. Tai walked in and over to the counter. He sat down beside Yamato, "I'm… I'm sorry," he said looking at his hands.

Yamato sat there silently. Tai looked up at Matt, "please come home," he begged.

Matt sighed and toke another sip of his coffee, "I love you Tai," he said looking into his black coffee, "but I think we need some time apart."

Tai sat there heart broken not wanting to be seen be anyone. He may have been sitting in a room full of people but in his eyes he had just been thrown into a black vertex going deeper and deeper into hopelessness. "Uh… sure…" Tai said before standing up and walking off.

He knew he was about to cry again and crying on the middle of the street would make him seem weak when he had gone through so much. He quickly walked back to his apartment building and back up to his apartment.

He laid down on the couch and for the next few days watched every horror and separated love movie in the house and some even 2 or 3 times.
