Switching Personality- Chapter 2 (Some Talking, then some relationship)

That night at Sora's house

Sora: Wow Mimi, you're so pretty.

Mimi came to visit Sora after school.

Mimi: Thanx Sora.

Sora: I wish I had your looks and personalities. Just think! I would be admired by boys all over!

Sora, suddenly realizing, what she said covered her mouth.

Mimi: Oh my god, Sora did you just say that?

Sora: What are you talking about?

Mimi: oh please like you don't know.

Sora: So I'm a girl aren't I? Why can't I like people of the opposite sex?

Mimi: Wow, I'm impressed. You are growing up.

Sora: Mimi!

Mimi: I mean the "old" Sora, that I knew was never really interested in boys, she was just a tomboy. Never even interested on that topic.

Sora: Well your looking at the new and improved Sora.

Both the girls laughed.

Sora: You know what Mimi, today I've done something very bad.

Mimi: What?

Sora: I'm afraid to tell you.

Mimi: C'mon Sora you could tell me anything. After all what are best friends for?

Sora: Oh Mimi

She confessed

Sora: Today I have felt jealousy of something that I could not help but feel.

Mimi: Sora, what are you talking about?

Sora: I've, I've been jealous of you today, and I'm very sorry.

Mimi had a confused look on her face. Why would her best friend be jealous of her? But then again everybody was, but Sora's different. Sora's her best friend.

Mimi: Sora, why exactly were you jealous of me? I mean I could understand if it was any other girl, but you're my best friend. You have nothing to be jealous of.

Sora: You don't understand.

Mimi: Then tell me.

Sora: Well I'm so sporty and stuff. Like a guy.

Mimi: Oh please, like there are no women athlete out there?

Sora: I know but still, you get more of the attention because you act more like a girl than me.

Mimi: Sora, You're just more of an athletic type than me. I would like to athletic like you sometimes. No matter what, you still are a girl and remember that. You are also very beautiful, even though you don't show it.

Sora: Thanx Mimi. So you think I should stop being athletic and start showing my feminine side more? Like you?

Mimi: Wow, you want me to be your role model?

Sora: Mimi, I didn't mean it like that!

Mimi: I know I was just kidding.

Sora laughed a little but was still depressed.

Mimi: Sora, just listen to me, be who you are, because there is only one of you.

Sora: Thanx.

Mimi still had some questions for her to answer.

Mimi: So, what's up with all this? I mean you never cared about how you look or who you are or anything like this before? Why now?

Sora got all nervous when her friend asked her all those questions. How could she tell her that she has a crush on Matt? I mean, Mimi also has a crush on the same person, at least she thought. And if there were any competition between the two of them than, of course Mimi would win, so there was no competition there. She knew Matt would choose Mimi over her, any day of the week.

Sora: Well I was just asking, does it hurt, to just ask?

Mimi: No, but still. You could tell me anything, you know that.

Sora: There is nothing wrong, but Thanx anyway.

Mimi nodded, but still knew there was something going on.

Mimi's pov: I wonder if she found out that Tai likes her.

Mimi: Well I gotta go, call me if you wanna talk.

With that she left.

Sora: Bye Mimi.

Sora's Pov: That was a close one.

Sora: Well talking to Mimi, certainly didn't help a lot. I wanna change but how?

Then she had an idea.

The next day at school.

Matt, Tai, Mimi and Izzy were sitting and having lunch together. Waiting for Sora.

Tai: Where could she be?

Matt: She never misses lunch with us.

Izzy: Maybe she's busy.

Mimi: Tai, I need to talk to you after lunch, OK?

Tai: Sure Mim's.

Matt: Hey, I thought you like Sora? Why you trying to take Mimi for?

Mimi blushed at this

Izzy: Yea!

Tai: I am not trying to take Mimi away. We are just friends. And how do you guys know that I like Sora?

Matt: Duh! It's obvious.

Mimi: Boy, Tai, you can be thick headed sometimes.

The all stopped and realized what Izzy has said.

Tai: Izzy did you just say, what I thought you just said?

Matt: Oh my god! Someone has a crush on Mimi!

Izzy didn't know what to do, he was blushing like crazy.

Izzy: No I don't!

Tai: Its OK, Izzy.

Izzy: No it's not.

With that he quickly ran out of the cafeteria.

Matt: Boy, he acts as if liking someone is a crime.

Mimi: Can it!

She quickly ran out after Izzy.

Tai: OK.

Matt: That was weird.

Outside

Izzy where are you, Mimi called. She found him sitting near the fountain.

Mimi: Hey Izzy.

Izzy: Sorry about that.

Mimi: About what? Liking me?

Izzy: Yea. Sorry.

He was blushing.

Mimi: You know, liking someone else of the different gender, is OK.

Izzy: Yea but you're my friend.

Mimi: No problem. You should have told me as a friend.

Izzy: I thought you would never like me like that. I mean I thought you liked guys like Matt or Tai. How could I even stand a chance? I envied everytime when boys drooled at the sight of you.

Realizing what he had said, he blushed even more.

Mimi: Oh, Izzy. I do like you.

Izzy: Really?

Mimi: Really.

With that she leaned towards him and kissed him in the cheeks.

Mimi: So how about we go back and have lunch?

Izzy: Sure.

Back in the Cafeteria

Matt: Hey look whose back?

Tai: Hey Izzy we were worried about you.

Mimi: Shut up.

Matt: What were you guys doing, ha?

Mimi: None of your business but if must know, Izzy and I are officially a couple.

Tai: Wow! The pretty one and the intelligent one. Not bad of a combination.

He said sarcastically.

Matt: Leave 'em alone, if they wanna love each other than let them, it's a free country.

Mimi: Exactly!

Then the bell rang.

Tai: Mimi, you wanted to talk to me?

Mimi: Oh yea. Izzy I'll see you later OK?

Izzy: Sure, bye.

With that Izzy and Matt left.

Tai: So what's up?

Mimi: I'm worried about Sora.

Tai: Oh my god! Is she hurt? What's wrong? Did anybody hurt her? Is she OK? Tell me!!!

Mimi: Damn Tai, calm down, let me speak!

Tai: Sorry

Calming down.

Mimi: As I was saying. Sora is not herself lately.

Tai: What are you talking about? She seems fine to me.

Mimi, It's a girl thing, so I can't tell you anything else. Yesterday I was in her house and we started talking about something weird.

Tai: What do you mean?

Mimi: All I'm saying is that keep an eye on her. Because she seems to be changing.

All of a sudden Sora comes out of no where.

Sora: Sorry coming through.

She said quickly as she ran past them.

Tai: Hey Sora, where's the fire?

Sora: Sorry Tai, I'm in a hurry.

Mimi: How come you weren't in lunch today?

Sora: I had things to do.

Tai: Well we're going for pizza after school, you wanna come?

Quickly making an excuse said

Sora: Sorry, I gotta help my mom at the flower shop.

Tai: OK

With that she left.

Mimi: I told you.

Tai: I think we might have to talk to her.
