At school the next day…

Tai: What! I can't believe it!

Matt: Get serious Mimi.

Mimi: I'm telling you guys, she quit tennis and joined the chearleading squad.

Matt: Wow sora in skirts and pomp pomp's, cool.

Tai: All the more reasons for us to get her back.

Izzy: Your right. I can't believe that she quit tennis. She loves tennis. Such an athlete, it's sad to even continue.

Sora came in and this time got a chance to sit next to her friends.

Sora: Hi guys guess what!

Tai: What?

Sora: I'm a cheerleader! Isn't that great?

They all groaned.

Sora: What's up with you guys? You never seem to be happy anymore.

Mimi: Sora it's not that we hate you.

Sora: So what?

Izzy: Are you aware that you've changed?

Matt: And that you care about us less?

Sora: What are you guys talking about?

Mimi: Yea like you quitting tennis. And your attitude.

Sora: Oh please! I can't believe this nonsense. Nobody else complains. Even my mother is happy. A little, I guess.

Tai got up from where he was sitting and stood next to Sora.

Tai: Sora, can I come over your house today? If you're not busy tonight?

Sora: Well, I have a date with Duncan (one of the best soccer players on the team, next to Tai that is. Lol) but I'll cancel it for you Tai. The only one who still appreciates me.

She said sarcastically.

Tai: Thanks. I'll come around seven OK?

Sora: Sure.

The bell rang and everyone left.

After school…

Matt: Listen dood, I wanna wish you good luck. Tell her how you feel. This could be your only chance.

Mimi: Matt's right.

Izzy: Mimi, c'mon, I'll walk you home.

Mimi: OK, see you guys later.

With that they left.

Matt: Well, I gotta go to. I have band practice, for a new song. I'll see you later.

Tai: Wait Matt. I have to talk to you.

Matt: Sure, what about?

Tai: I just want to apologize.

Matt: For what?

Tai: Well I sord of well.. Felt jealous of you and Sora. You know about you gawking over her and stuff. It's my fault, I shouldn't have been suspicious of you, I mean you are one of my best friends after all.

Matt: Say no more. Tai, I'm your friend and I would never try to take Sora away from you. Even though…

Tai: OK, I get the point.

They both laughed.

Matt: Well good luck and good bye.

With that he left. Leaving Tai to wonder about tonight. Should he do it?

Tai was nervous, he didn't know what to do. Should he go through with this?

Tai: C'mon Tai, you have the crest of courage remember? You could do it.

He said to himself, trying to be confident. He knocked on the door.

Sora: I'm coming.

Sora yelled from inside the house. She finally opened the door to reveal a very nervous Tai.

Sora: Hi Tai!

She said excited.

Tai: Hi Sora, I hope I'm not bothering you.

Sora: Bother? You Tai? No way! You're never a bother!

She blushed at what she just said.

Tai: Really?

He asked happily.

Sora: How silly of me! I didn't even invite you in. You poor thing, it's freezing outside! C'mon in!

Tai realized he was freezing and that he was still outside but he didn't feel that cold because he was blushing making his cheeks red like fire. Once inside he calmed down a little. He looked up at Sora who took his jacket and hung it up. He noticed how beautiful she looks, or rather gotten. No, that's not true. To Tai Sora has always been beautiful. Even though she doesn't show it, as much as now. Still, he looked up to her and not just for her beauty. He cared for her more than anybody. She was an angel to him. He needs to find out why she's behaving like this. And not her usual, sweet, honest, beautiful, caring, nice, wonderful athletic self. That's why he's here to find out what's going on and try maybe try to change her back. And maybe to finally confess his feelings for her.

Tai's Pov: C'mon Tai you could do it. It's like talking to any regular person. You talk to Sora all the time. Except now it's kinda different. Damn, does she look sexy… Concentrate! C'mon you have the crest of courage. Remember!

Tai: So I guess you canceled your date with Duncan?

Sora: Yea, no biggie. Anything for you!

She blushed a very red, red.

Sora's Pov: OK, What the hell is wrong with you? Are you trying to flirt with one of your best friends? C'mon, it's just Tai. You don't have the hot's for him. You have it for Matt remember! But he does look good, I realized that right now. I mean he looks so cute with his bushy hair. I feel like playing with it. Oh my god! You're insane! Stop it! He's your friend for god's sake! Maybe Tai is the one for me. NA! Damn Tai for looking so damn good!

Tai: Sora? You home? Yuhooo.

Sora: Oh what?

Tai broke of Sora's daze.

Tai: Are you OK?

Sora: Yea fine. Um.. So you wanted to talk to me?

Tai: Yea. It's kinda private.

Sora: Um.. OK, lets go to my room. OK?

Tai: Sure.

They went up to Sora's room. Sora closed the door behind them.

Sora: So, what's up?

Tai: Sora please don't get mad or anything, I mean it's better if I talk to you about it then anybody else. Or I think.

He said very quickly and blushed. Sora heard everything he had said.

Sora: I'm confused, What do you need to tell me that would make me mad.

She asked sweetly.

Tai: Well you know that you've changed right?

Sora: What? I have?

Tai: Yea Sora C'mon, it's like so noticeable. I mean how you act, how you dress, your behavior, quitting tennis, joining the cheerleading squad? I mean C'mon Sora, What's going on? You're practically idolizing Mimi! Mimi! For gods sakes, Mimi! Out of anyone to idolize, you decided to idolize Mimi! And for what?!!! For gods sakes someone should idolize you for a change!

Tai said with passion, care and concern in his voice. But after he realized that he had maybe said and or asked to many things not to mention the last couple of lines, got nervous and blushed the deepest color of red.

Tai: OK, Um.. Sorry.

Sora was angry.

Sora: Tai!

She screamed and also blushed because she also heard what he had said.

Sora: I have not changed! I am not idolizing Mimi! And even if I was what's it to you?! It's not even your business anyway!

Tai: Yea! Of coarse it's none of my business that my best friend is all different and stuff that she's all miss popularity! And that maybe she'll get hurt. But what do I care! I'm no one!

Now both of them were screaming and yelling at each other.

Sora: How dare you Taichi Kamiya! Don't you dare use that voice with me!

Tai: Oh, I'm so scared you used my full name! I'm surprised you still remember it!

Sora: Ofcoarse I do, you're my friend!

Tai: Is that so? Well you haven't been acting like my friend.

Sora: What?! Yes I have.

Tai: No, for starters I came here to talk to you and you're laying it off. You're screaming at me for no damn reason!

Sora: Your screaming too! And I'm not screaming at you for any goddamn reason. You know very well why I'm screaming at you! It's none of your business of what I do or not! Why do you care anyway?

Tai calmed down.

Tai: Because I care.

He said very simply and gently.

Sora: What?

Tai: Sora please tell me, why are you acting like this.

Sora: None of your business.

Tai: Please Sora, I really care for you. And not only as a friend anymore.

He said, and once again blushed. Sora heard what he had said, and was surprised. But didn't say anything. She had her back turned around.

Tai: Listen Sora, I'm not gonna lie to you. I came here to find out why you've been acting like this, and why. And how to change you back to your wonderful self again that I love so much. All this in courtesy of all your friends. We care for you and want to help you. But how can that be if you keep pushing us away? I'm gonna go. But please change back and if you wanna talk please let me know.

With that he turned around to leave. After he left, All this talking left Sora to ponder the whole night.

The nest day at Odaiba high…

Mimi, Izzy, and Matt were waiting for Tai hopefully who has some good news about their situation.

Mimi: He had better have good news.

Matt: Don't worry Mimi, this is Tai we're talking about, I'm sure he got the job done and everything is back to normal.

Izzy: Don't count on it Matt.

He said while pointing to a sad faced Tai walking towards them.

Mimi: Let me guess your hot shot plan did not work?

Tai: How'd you ever guess?

Matt: What happened?

Tai: Well I told her, and asked her a dozen questions. I even tried to use my charm.

Izzy: Well…

Tai: We soon got into an argument. And I told her that we all wanted her back. And if she needs to talk, to let us know.

Matt: That's it?

Tai: Yea she didn't listen to me.

Mimi: Did you tell her about your feelings?

Tai: I certainly gave her hints.

Mimi: You were supposed to tell her!

Tai: Sorryyyy.

Then the school doors opened and everyone thought that it was the amazing Sora. And everyone was right it was Sora, but not the amazing one. It was Sora, back to normal.

Tai: Don't tell me its Sora?

He asked depressed.

Matt: Don't worry buddy, we tried.

Izzy: Hey guys look! It is Sora but… but only different.

Mimi: What are you babbling about Izzy?

As soon as Sora entered usually everyone would be gawking again but now people just said hi, hello.

Sora's Pov: Yea well, I don't care!

Lana: Sora! What happened?

Sora: What do you mean?

Lana: Why aren't you dressed up? And why don't you have make-up on?

Everyone had gathered around to see and hear, including Tai, Matt, Izzy and Mimi.

Sora: Well I've decided to be myself again. I don't like that new me. I realized it's not how I work. Whatever it was, I don't want it anymore.

Lana: Well than, I guess you also realized that you're out of the squad for talking against me and for looking like and idiot.

Sora: Why just cause I'm normal again? I don't need make-up to look beautiful. But I see you do!

She said and smiled at Tai, who smiled back.

Lana was so angry.

Lana: Well then! I never! How dare you?!

She was about to slap Sora when Mimi stepped in and caught her hand.

Mimi: And what do you think your doing?

Lana: I should ask you the same question.

Mimi: I'm not going to let you hit my best friend.

Lana: Well then I guess you can say good bye to the squad too and be ugly with your ugly friend!

Mimi: Good! The only one who's ugly here is you and your sorry excuse of a face! And I don't want to be in the squad anyway! Not while you're the captain!

Lana was so pissed that she turned around with the rest of her wanna be friends and started to leave.

Lana: Whatever!

Izzy in the mean time was eating a banana and threw the left over on the floor. On purpose. (LOL). Lana didn't see where she was going and slipped and fell down on her face! Everyone was laughing their heads off. While the schools, news editor came in and took a picture for the week's front picture! (How embarrassing!).

Izzy: And that's for bad mouthing my friends, especially my girl Mimi!

Lana's friends quickly helped her up and they ran to the girl's room.

Matt's: That was extremely funny! Good job Izzy!

Izzy: Thanks.

Mimi walked over to Izzy and hugged him then kissed him hard.

Matt: We're still here you know.

They slowly pulled apart.

Mimi: Sorry.

Sora walked over to Mimi who was still cuddling with Izzy.

Sora: Hey, Mimi… Thanks.

Mimi: Don't mention it. That's what friends are for.

She smiled.

Sora: I'm really sorry for everything I did you guys. I really am. I wasn't thinking right. I guess I was brain washed with all the popularity all the girls were getting except me. That I didn't even realize if it was effecting any of my real friends. Sorry. Tai walked over to her and put his hand on her shoulder. He brought her chin up.

Tai: Don't worry Sora, we forgive you.

Matt: Yea, don't worry about it. Just next time do us a favor. Will yea?

Sora: What's that?

Matt: Be yourself.

Sora smiled at this.

Mimi: Be yourself and be proud of it, because theirs only one of you in the world.

Izzy: And that's what makes you special. We're all special in our own way.

Sora: Thanks you guys, you're the best!

They all smiled.

Matt: We know.

The bell rang.

Tai: Well I'm just glad my charm worked and that you're back to normal.

Mimi: Yea right.

Izzy: C'mon guys, lets get to class.

With that they were all about to leave when…

Sora: Tai?

Tai turned around.

Tai: Yea Sora?

Sora: I'm sorry for yesterday, I really acted stupid and…

Tai: Don't worry, it's OK.

He was about to leave, when…

Sora: Tai?

Tai: Yea Sora?

Sora: About yesterday, Um… you said you liked me more than a friend?

She said blushing.

Tai: Oh that? You still remember?

Sora nodded yes.

Tai: Well yea, I do like you as more than a friend ever since we met when we were kids, and in the digital world, and now. I just didn't have the courage to tell you. But you probably don't have the same feelings for me.

He said, very sadly. Sora walked up to him and hugged him.

Sora: To tell you the truth Tai, I thought Matt would be the one for me. But now I know whom I really belong with.

She whispered in his ear.

Tai: Really? Who?

Sora: You silly.

She said, gently messing up his hair.

Tai: Really!

Sora: Yes, my heart desires you and only you, Tai. Thank you for making me realize that. And that there is someone who loves me always.

Tai: I love you Sora.

Sora: I love you too Tai. Friends forever?

Tai: You bet.

Sora: Together forever?

Tai: Ofcoarse.

With that they kissed passionately on the middle of the hallway. While everyone one from their classes stared out of the window at the new loving couple. Including The three.

Izzy: I knew things would workout for them.

Mimi: You could have had her, but you didn't.

Matt: I know, but they deserve each other.

He said smiling.

All's well that ends well, that's what I always say. LOL. Anyway the last chapter. I think it was the longest. I couldn't keep continuing it, and then I would never start a new story.
