Chapter 1: Returning To The Digiworld
Takato blinked. The gate was still open. He smiled. He dashed home as fast as he could. The second he was home, he called his friends, one by one. They were all excited about the gate and met at Guilmon's old hideout.
"Is it really true Takato?" Rika asked.
"Yeah, come on." Takato dashed down through the tunnel.
Everyone else followed him.

Jeri and Rika awoke next to an Omnimon. "Hello humans," he said, "You are lucky you are friends and tamer to Renamon or we would of killed you."
"Where's Renamon?" Rika asked, confused.
"She is with Doumon. They are planning the next attack against the SandWarriors."
"They're what?" Rika was horrified, she thought that Renamon would only attack for a good purpose, not for something like this.
"I forgot you do not know about the digiworld's Chaos War. During the havoc wreaked by the D-Reaper, plant digimon were kidnapped and disguised as organic material, so villages would be safe. Our kingdom was not involved but on the story.
'The plant digimon began to resist, since many of them were killed. In the end all the types of digimon were against each other.
'The SandWarriors attacked and killed great Imperialdramon P.M. We are at war with them now. I am the highest level Mammal type digimon, so I am now king.'"
Renamon and Calumon then appeared and smiled. They were with their partners.
"How did you digivolve Renamon?" Rika asked.
"Calumon made me." Renamon answered.
Then a tremor struck the temple. A hole in the wall appeared. And a digimon's head was looking through it.
Out of the hole, a sphinx-like face was looking at them.
"It's the leader of the SandWarriors, AncientSphinxmon!" Omnimon said, "Supreme Cannon!"
"Hello, Omnimon. Your forces have been captured. Surrender or die!"
"What?"
"That's right, I am ruler of the desert!
With that the wall fell completely, revealing a huge black cat with golden wings and claws, and a red face with red eyes, "Necro Eclipse!"
Everything turned dark for two seconds, then Pharohmon, Mummymon, Lowemon, Duskmon and Velgmon were all visible.
"Dark Blast!" "Necro Mist!" "Necrophobia!" "Endlich Meteor!" "Geist Abend!" "Zone Deleter!"
Jeri and Rika screamed and then,
BIOMERGE DIGIVOLUTION/VICTORY DIGIVOLUTION
Renamon biomerge to... Sakuyamon!/Calumon digivolve to... Lucemon!
"Amythest Mandala!" "Divine Feat!" The two attacks wiped out a few Lowemon and Mummymon but nothing else.
The evil digimon just repeated their attacks.
DIGIMODIFY
"Digimodify! Power Blast! Counter Attack Activate!"
The Lowemon and Mummymon completely dissappeared. "Spirit Strike!" "Ground Cross!" "Omega Blade!"
(Rika) Renamon what do we do? We don't stand a chance!
"We'll keep fighting."
"Lucemon you've got to digivolve again!" Jeri cried out.

Takato and Henry awoke in the middle of a mountain range. They looked around. The only things nearby were two digimon, a small green one and a pink gerbil wearing a necklace and with a heart tattoo. They were Gummimon and MarineAngemon.
"Gummimon!" Henry shouted, hugging his partner, "I'm glad you're okay!"
"Henry!" Gummimon shouted, jumping towards Henry, "I'm so glad to see you! We probably should find the soverign. There are wars all over the Digiworld!"
"That's horrible," Takato said.

The three sovereigns looked out over the chaos.
"It's official then, that the Sixth Catalyst, Dark unfortunately is alive," Zhuqiaomon said.
"Yes so we will need to revive the other Ancient Catalysts," Baihumon said.
"But with us using nine catalysts all of them will revert to their weaker forms," Ebonwumon said.
"Yes but it's better than nothing," Azulongmon said.
Four power cores floated into the air and the four remaining catalysts appeared, AncientMermaimon, AncientTroiamon, AncientVolcamon and AncientWisemon.
"What do we need to do?" They all asked.
"Find AncientGreymon, AncientGarurumon, AncientIrismon, AncientMegathurimon and AncientBeetmon. You'll need their powers to help the Tamers. The five ancient digimon will be in their weaker forms so watchful for any suspicious Ultimate digimon. Outside our realm you all will be Ultimate digimon to.
The four Ancient Digimon left the sovereigns realm and began to explore in their weaker forms.
"Yeah," Indramon (AncientTroiamon) agreed.
"I wonder who the others are," Mamemon (AncientWisemon) said.
"You should know that!" Volcamon (AncientVolcamon) laughed.
"AncientGreymon is MetalGreymon, AncientGarurumon is WereGarurumon, AncientMegathurimon is Mammothmon, AncientBeetmon is MegaKabuterimon and AncientIrismon is Garudamon," Zudomon(Mermaimon) said.

Ryo awoke next to Kazu and Kenta in a strange room. Around them were four digimon of different types. Ryo grabbed his D-Power and pointed it at the nearest.
"MetalGreymon, Vaccine type, Ultimate level, his attacks are Giga Blaster and Mega Claw, according to the D-Power he's leader of the Ignis Alliance.
'Divermon, Data type, also Ultimate, his attacks are Striking Fish and Fishing Rod, this one is the leader of the Aqua Defenders.
'Meteormon, Data type, Ultimate, his attacks are Cosmo Flasher and Foreign Stars, he's leader of Terra Livers.
'And Garudamon, Vaccine type, Ultimate, her attacks are Meteor Wing and Eagle Claw, she's the leader of the Aer Flyers," Ryo said.
"Dude are they all good?" Kazu asked.
"Yes human we are all good. Although a strange force reduced us to our ultimate levels."
"Then... Who were you before?" Kenta asked.
"I was AncientGreymon, Divermon was Plesiomon, Meteormon was Lampmon and Garudamon was once AncientIrismon."
"Do you know where Cyberdramon is?" Ryo asked.
"A Hopmon, a Kapurimon and a Gigimon who each claim to of been a tamers digimon are here." Divermon said.
"Those are our friends!" Kazu shouted.
"But MarineAngemon isn't here." Kenta said.
"We can deal with that later," Ryo said as he followed the four digimon.

Suzie, Ai and Mako looked out over the horizon.
"I hope we find Wopmon soon," Suzie said.
"And I miss Impmon." Ai added.
"No need to miss us Suzie, Ai, Mako, thank my sovereign for letting me and Yaamon find you."
"Who's Yaamon?" Mako asked.
"Me, in In-Training form."
Yaamon and Kokomon appeared together.
"We've been searching for you since kind WereGarurumon found us. We had been captured by the Magics, an army of magical digimon.
Then the Wolvers, an army of dog-like digimon, found us in one of the dungeons." Kokomon explained.
"Oh." Suzie said.
The three humans and two digimon then walked off in a direction.
Later:
Suzie, Ai and Mako saw a huge collection of buildings. Walking inside the city they saw hundreds of dog-type digimon. Every dog from Paomon to BlackMegaGargomon were in the city.
When they finally arrived at the center of the city. Two Cerubumon stood at the gate.
"Who dares approach the castle of WereGarurumon?"
"I do, Kokomon!"
"Welcome little one."
Inside the castle things were even more fantastic. A Shishamon walked by with three Labramon on her back. Garurumons, Gururumons, Gabumon's and Psychemon's were walking through the castle, taking people on tours and such.
When they approached the throne room a WereGarurumon with a catalyst symbol on his forehead stood there.
"Hello children," he said.
Then the castle began to collapse.

"Digi-modify!" Jeri yelled, "Digivolution Activate!"
DIGIVOLUTION
Lucemon digivolve to... D'Arcmon!
"Le Puzzle!" "Kongou Maimandara!"
The attacks easily destroyed a few Duskmon. AncientSphinxmon yelled something and then D'Arcmon hit a wall and devolved to Lucemon.
"Lucemon!" Jeri yelled. She ran to her fallen partner and held him. "Lucemon you've got to do something."
"Right Jeri!" Lucemon floated into the air,
"Grand Cross!" he yelled.
A shining light echoed through the room it hit the many Lowemon and then a small spirit appeared in the center of the room.
A Lowemon grabbed it and turned a strange white.
"Lowemon spirit digivolve to... KaiserLeomon!"
"Thank you. Lucemon, Tamer, Sakuyamon and Omnimon we have to get out of here." KaiserLeomon and the others dashed out of the castle. A Doumon was waiting for the Tamers and digimon.
"Sire, I just heard. I'm glad that you are all right. I was going to come but someone beat me."
"Yes," Jeri said.

Takato, Henry, Gummimon and MarineAngemon walked through the mountain range. They had been walking for an hour.
"Henry, the Digiworld has grown much bigger since you guys fought the D-Reaper. I think that this is the closest level to the sovereign's level now," Gummimon said.
"Poo," MarineAngemon said, agreeing.
"Guys who are they?" Takato asked.
He was refering to four digimon, a Zudomon, a Mamemon, a Volcamon and an Indramon, three they recognized, Volcamon they didn't.
"Are you the deva Indramon?" Henry asked.
"No, we all are catalysts and we'll prove it." Then the four glowed and Gummimon bio-merged with Henry.
"It takes that much power. Unless we're In-Training or Mega," Mamemon said.
"Why In-Training?" Takato asked.
"Calumon can do it can't he" Zudomon asked.
"Okay," Henry said as he and Gummimon returned to normal.
A huge white digimon with tentacles and a V-shaped head with a yellow eye stepped out of nowhere.
"Absorbant Bang!" it yelled.
Takato was nearly hit. Then he vanished.

Ryo and the others followed the leaders and soon found the remaining digimon.
"Hopmon!" "Kapurimon!" Ryo and Kazu said together. Kenta and Gigimon just stood there, wishing their partner was in the group.

WereGarurumon glowed a strange color. Antylamon and Beelzemon B.M. stood next to WereGarurumon and together they held the collapsing ceiling up.
In front of the tamers were several Sorcerimon, Witchmon, Wizardmon and FlaWizarmon.
"Ice Illusion!" "Poison Storm!" "Magical Game!" "Fire Cloud!"
The many attacks blew up the wall and the mega and two ultimates engaged in combat. An Asuramon stepped out of the rubble.
"Bunny Blades!" "Corona Destroyer!" "Wolf Kick!" The three attacks killed a few Witch and Wizardmon but that was it. "You shall never beat me!" Asuramon cried.
