Matt: don't be mean, the poor has been trough a lot

Matt: if you keep going…well keep being tormented

A new beginning

Setting: Taichi's apartment

“Katsuhiro are you all right?” Matt asked worried

“U-um yeah, is just I'm a little bit tired” Katsuhiro lied; his father wouldn't understand “where am I sleeping tonight?”

A silence penetrated the room, till the excited voice of Kihachiro broke it

“I know where! Follow me” he said while grab Katsuhiro's hand.

Katsuhiro was drag to a room with walls painted in dark blue, with some furniture in light colored wood.

“Hope you don't mind, sleeping in the same room I am” Kihachiro told while he fixed one of his two beds

“Why do you have two beds?” Katsuhiro asked

“Well, because sometimes my cousin comes for visit and so, my dad brought me two beds... There I finish” Kihachiro got up from fixing the bed for him

“Oh, thanks...” he murmured

“Are you sure don't wanna eat something, I mean...you had a hard day and well…” Kihachiro trailed off

“No, I'm okay, but thanks” Katsuhiro said and he lay down in the bed

He is just too… nice, I mean he offered a lot of stuff, and… no, maybe he is just acting nice, right now cause he knows daddy is here… he yawn and tried to sleep.

“Kihachiro, time to go to sleep” Tai said

“But, I wanna see more TV!” Kihachiro pouted

“No buts, young man, go to sleep”

Finally Kihachiro went to his room.

“Tai, you think Katsuhiro will, you know, fit in here?” Matt asked worried.

“Well, Yama, I don't really know, but we will try to make him feel welcome”

“And still I have yet to get a divorce and well… the custody”

“That bitch is gonna try to take Katsuhiro with her, right?”(Sorry, is just I really hate her... hehe no offense to Sora-fans)

“Yes… but I'll do everything I can” Matt said sad

“Oh, Yama don't worry for that right now, for now Katsuhiro is in that room along with Kihachiro” Tai said and he embrace Matt

“Now let's go to sleep”

“Well, just let me check the kids” Matt say and he opened the door of Kihachiro room. And he saw that both seem to be soundly asleep.

He then closed the door and go to his and Tai's room.

“But, I wanna see more TV!” the muffled voice of Kihachiro went trough the door, it seemed that a long time has passed and it really was 10 min (haven't happen to any of you, like you feel you been hours in the bed and it was like 20 min or so… it really weird… well sorry, keep on with the story)

The sound of the door being opened made Katsuhiro to close his eyes.

“Oh, Kats already fall asleep” Kihachiro mumbled

Kats? Oh, god, he already put me a nickname… and it's kinda nice but, who let him call me like that!

A lot of sound was made while he fixed himself for bed.

“Good night” he said and the noise stopped

Now, that the entire racket stopped, I can think finally… I don't think this is gonna end so easy, and yet the divorce… and will I ever see Tezuka again? I mean who is gonna tease him… and Mom? Probably she hates me by now…Tears started rolling trough his cheeks what if the judge is mean and he forces me to go back to her… and now she hates me… “No,-I-don't-want-to-go-back” he said between sobs

“Kats, are you awake?” Kihachiro ask in the darkness

Katsuhiro couldn't help but keep crying, Kihachiro turn the lights on and came close to Katsuhiro.

“Kats, what's wrong?”

“Go away… leave me alone!” Katsuhiro shooed him away

“I can't leave you like this” Kihachiro said and against the will of katsuhiro, he hugged him.

Katsuhiro now clung to his shirt and sobbed

“Tell me what's wrong, I'll try to help”

“But…” he sobbed

“Hush… its ok, come on, you can tell me”

After a little while, katsuhiro calmed down and told Kihachiro what troubled him.

“Well… there is no much we can do about that but I'm sure the judge will make the right decision, now let's sleep a bit, don't ya think?” Kihachiro answered him.

“Yes... thanks Chiro… you're not mean as I thought you were”

“Me, mean? No way!”

“I dunno why I thought that…”

Kihachiro yawn and went to his bed

“Good night Kats”

“Good night Chiro”

The sun had risen and Tai slowly awaken, he looked by his side, to find Matt asleep, his chest rising and dropping slowly.

He looks so peaceful…

He heard some noises and look at the clock

“Oh my, it's already 12:00!” and he got up from bed, trying not to wake Matt, he started getting dressed, when he heard a soft moan and Matt fluttered his eyes open.

“Good morning, love” Tai greet him

“Good morning, Tai” the sleepy voice of Matt answered “what time is it?” he said while he started getting up

“12:00” Tai simply stated

“12:00 already? That's why I felt if I had sleep for days”

“I'm gonna check on the kids, finish getting dressed, love”

 

When Tai came downstairs he found Kihachiro and Katsuhiro with the TV on, giggling and throwing cushions at each other.

 

“Kihachiro settle down!” Tai said

“But dad, Kats started…” Kihachiro looked at Katsuhiro who was grinning.

“I wouldn't care less who started it, well anyway, since what hour you are up?”

“Umm since...” Katsuhiro started and began counting with his fingers “oh, since, 8 o'clock”

“I always have trouble waking you up for school and now I was the one that didn't wake up” The voice of Matt entered the room

“Well, Chiro and I weren't tired” Katsuhiro answered

“Besides Kats and I play we don't want to wake up for school, because school is boring!”

“Oh Kihachiro will you ever learn…” Tai sighted

“well, guys what do ya want for late breakfast?”

“I dunno” Katsuhiro answered

“mm what about candy!” Kihachiro yell and run to the kitchen and grab the jar of candy

“Chiro, don't be mean, give me some!!” Katsuhiro run after him

“No! They're mine!”

“no they aren't!” Katsuhiro throw Kihachiro to the floor and candy where scattered everywhere

“Upps… sorry Chiro…”

Katsuhiro looked at Tai then at Matt, who started laughing, soon Tai joined him, and Kihachiro after… they all laughed and had a good time…

But what they did not know was that soon instead of laughs there will be tears…
