Charbonne: (humming merrily) Hahahahahaha! My first MST!!!

Ken: And hopefully your last…

Charbonne: How dare you say that? I didn't drag you, Izzy, and TK here to be attacked. (pouts)

Ken: You drag me from studying… for this?

Charbonne: (much grinning) Yep!!!!

Ken: You are one very sad person, Danny.

Charbonne: I have permission from Aquarius to do this, so hopefully she doesn't sue me…

Ken: She will.

Charbonne: O.o, just the title, so far…

Izzy: Why do I think that this story is going to torture me?

All: ???

Ken: Oh, yeah. (flips through the story) It actually does…

Charbonne: Gimme that!!!

Ken: Why? We're going to read it, anyways.

Charbonne: Man… (throws down lawsuit) And I really wanted to do that, too…

A/N: These are the ages which I have made given that TK, Kari and Davis are in 7th grade in 02: Joe and Michael (Yep! He's in this one! ^_^)-18; Tai, Sora, and Matt-17; Izzy and Mimi-16; Yolei - 15; TK, Kari, Davis, Ken, and Wallace (Yep! Yep!)-14, and Cody-12. Hope you like it!

Ken: But we have proof that TK is actually 40!

TK: Am not!

Ken: Are to!

Izzy: (sweatdrops) And the insanity begins…



Odaiba Junior High...

"Well, I think that soccer is a much better sport than basketball," Davis told Kari while crossing his arms.

TK: (blinking) It is?

Ken: Yes.

Charbonne: And that's why I don't watch basketball…

Kari continued to place her books in her locker while Davis continued his attempts to woo her and TK just stood there snickering at Tai's protégé.

Izzy: He also inherited Tai's brain, too.

Charbonne: I thought you liked Davis and Tai…

Izzy: Naah, they both make me mad.

Charbonne: (confused) Why?

Izzy: (shrugging) They both stole the spotlight in Digimon.

Kari laughed pushing her hair behind her ear, "I still find TK's games more interesting than soccer. I guess it's just cause I grew up on soccer and now I'm tired of it," she smiled making Davis's legs turn to jelly and causing his face to fall. *I never get a break* he moaned to himself pitifully.

Ken: And he never will.

Charbonne: That's it! I'm bringing in Davis to defend himself.

(Davis falls in and lands on Ken. They both scramble away from each other, and Davis' fists ball up.)

Davis: Ken?

Ken: Davis?

Davis: You still owe me money!

Ken: Do not!

Davis: Do too!

Charbonne: (about to say something, but stops) I'm not gonna ask…

Kari smiled at hearing this and answered him, *Maybe someday, Davis*. He whipped his head up in surprise and then blushed, "Oh! I forgot that you could read minds! Just forget about whatever you saw in there okay?!" Davis pleaded.

Ken: Forget what? Nothing goes on in there.

Davis: You don't know that! I could be planning world domination!

"C'mon, Kari let's go," TK said taking her hand. She closed her locker and walked off with TK at her side and Davis walking defeatedly behind them. "Cheer up, Davis. As soon as we meet up with Cody we're going to the movies to start the weekend," Kari said with a wink while looking back at him.

I'm happy now!" he said plastering a smile to his face and running up to walk next to Kari.

Davis: (swooning) Yes, I'm happy. Kari acknowledged me!

TK and Ken: (puking noises can be heard)

Together they walked out of Odaiba Middle School and down the block to the elementary school talking about anything and everything occasionally moving the straps of their backpacks for comfort.

Davis: (as Kari) All right Davis, I'll go out with you. I agree, basketball is boring. I love soccer.

TK: (glaring) (as Davis) But I really suck at soccer. TK is better than me!

Davis was one of her best friends but nothing more. Kari thought he looked cute with goggles and hair along with his favorite dark blue shirt and brown pants, but then again almost every guy looked cute to her.

TK: And she admits to being a slut!

Davis: (intense glaring) No, she's not!

Izzy: I thought you two were friends…

She looked up to TK who towered over both her and Davis by a good 5-1/2 inches.

Davis: Giant!

TK: Shrimp!

His blonde hair was a bit more combed and he still dressed mainly in green with the crest of hope around his neck, but Kari wasn't complaining at all. She blushed at her thoughts just before they were interrupted by an announcement...

Izzy: (into megaphone) Would the owner of the two men fighting in the front please break them up?

"Hey Cody! You ready to go?" Davis asked grinning. Cody had grown a bit so he was only slightly shorter than Davis and Kari but compared to TK he, and everyone else for that matter, was a midget.

TK: Told you!

Davis: (pouting)

He had the same short brown hair and serene green eyes but his taste mainly focused on dark colors and earth tones as well as how comfortable he was with what he was wearing.

"Konniechewa, everyone.

Charbonne: (looks through Japanese dictionary) She misspelled that. It's Konnichi wa.

Ken: Give me that!

I'm doing quite well, thank you, Davis," he stated politely as always. Kari could read the thoughts he emitted and wasn't surprised that they concerned Yolei. She and Cody had been best friends since they were only small children and that fact that they were in different schools now was hard on both of them. But they spent as much time as they could together after school to make up for that lost time.

Charbonne: (singing) Cody and Yolei, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!

All: (nauseated looks)

"Shall we go? I don't want to miss the movie," TK said giving Kari's hand a gentle squeeze. "I wouldn't want to miss a minute of it either...," she said looking up at him. They lead the way as their two friends followed closely behind.

TK: (shudder)

Davis: (shudder)

Charbonne: (eating popcorn) This is a… (gets hit upside the head with a baseball bat)

TK: (holding baseball bat) Don't say it!

Davis: (begging) Please don't!

After going home shortly and depositing their backpacks they set off to the theater only to meet up with a friend. "Hi, Yolei!" TK called waving. They ran up to meet her and Kari sensed she was nervous about something, like a child thinking he might get caught with a hand in the family cookie jar.

Izzy: (confused look) Cookie jar?

Ken: Don't ask me, Aquarius is your wife.

Izzy: (blushing) Like Danny is yours?

Ken: (about to punch Izzy, but stops) You are so lucky, Izumi.

"Yolei, is something wrong?" Cody asked, he had known her long enough to interpret her facial expressions. Yolei smiled sweetly, "No! There's nothing wrong! I was just on my way home! Mimi flew in yesterday and she's staying at my house, we're going shopping this afternoon!" she replied rapidly while clasping her hands behind her back.

All: (appalled looks)

Charbonne: Yolei…

Izzy: And Mimi…

Ken: Shopping?

TK: That's scary…

Davis: Yolei is going to be just like Mimi, pink and all…

Her long purple hair clashed slightly with the green, blue, and white uniform she wore for attending Odaiba's high school. But of course NO ONE would EVER tell her that...

Charbonne: (sarcastically) Noooo, no one would ever tell her that… (on phone) Yes, Yolei, you look terrible.

All: (stares)

Kari knew something was up and she didn't have to be telepathic to notice it. "So... what are you guys doing?" Yolei inquired. Davis shrugged, "We're just going to see a movie so we-" He was cut off as Yolei jumped in his face nervously and suspiciously, "Movie?! Which theater?!" Davis and the others sweatdropped and shrank back.

Izzy: Jumpy, ain't she?

"The one two blocks west of here. We were thinking about seeing that new movie from America that they translated to Japanese," Kari stated while probing Yolei's mind.

Yolei's face paled and she laughed pitifully, "Well, don't go see that one, I heard it's REALLY bad." *Oh! Why do I always have to cover for those two like this!* Yolei thought slightly irked. Kari listened to her thoughts and words carefully, searching for any clue that might help her figure this out.

Charbonne: Though all she figures out is that Yolei's mind is actually made of cotton candy.

Izzy: Danny, have you been smoking anything lately?

Charbonne: (confused) No, why?

Izzy: Nothing…

"Okay, Yolei. We'll see you later!" Davis said with a smile. "Bye guys!" Yolei shouted a quick goodbye and gave a quick salute before jogging off.

"I wonder what's up with her?" TK wondered out loud while watching their violet haired friend depart. "She's becoming too much like Mimi...," Davis said frustrated.

TK: True, true, but the actuality is much scarier… She IS Mimi!

Kari snapped out of her analyzation of Yolei's thoughts by this and giggled, "You're such an observant person, Davis." Davis became beet red and put his hand behind his head while grinning, "Thanks Kari!"

Davis: (singing) She noticed me again!

Ken: That's the fanfic Davis.

TK and Cody laughed and began to walk away with Kari leaving a daydreaming Davis slightly behind. This was noticed and he immediately ran to catch up to them, "Hey! Wait up, guys!"

The group of four stared up at the marquee above the box office of the theater. "Let's go ahead and see that American movie, guys. I mean, Yolei has such different tastes than the rest of us," Davis said with his hands on his hips.

TK: (Davis) I'm more into porn than anything else.

Davis: (glaring) (TK) So am I!

All: (sweatdrop)

"Tai and Sora told me it was actually pretty good as far as American films go," Kari said still holding hands with TK. "If you see it, I'll see it, Kari," the blonde smiled looking down at Kari. She blushed and looked away smiling.

Charbonne: Takari and Taiora!!!

TK and Davis: (nauseated looks)

"Then it's unanimous," Cody stated. They each bought their ticket and went into the enormous and crowded building, TK and Kari walked slowly with their joined hands swaying slightly.

The lights had already been turned down low when Davis, Cody, TK and Kari entered the large room with the movie screen and stadium seating. They all sat down, Davis making sure he had the other seat next to Kari, and watched the movie trailers that preceded the movie patiently. Well... Davis wasn't exactly paying attention to the screen, instead he gazed at Kari every now and then from the corner of his eye.

Davis: If Kari was with me, I'll always look at her…

All: (gagging)

Kari leaned on TK's shoulder but her thoughts were elsewhere. She sensed the presence of other mental powers, and she couldn't discern much from that due to the fact that whoever it was she sensed had built strong psychic shields in his/her mind. She wrinkled her face slightly in thought and concentrated a little more, but still her search wielded nothing. *That's strange... I can barely get anything from this besides the fact that whoever it is I'm sensing is close and he/she isn't alone. I wonder... maybe it's-*

Charbonne: (Kari) My imaginary friend!!

Ken: You have way too much free time on your hands, Danny.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a harsh whisper that Cody was directing to his three friends, "Look! Down there!" Cody gestured down to a spot 5 rows in front of them, and the other three children saw for the first time what their younger brunette friend had discovered.

Charbonne: It actually was Kari's imaginary friend, only brought to life!

They each gasped in surprise, but Kari only smiled because this fit perfectly with Yolei's weird behavior AND the strange psychic presence she had felt. "That's impossible! Those two... together?!" Davis sputtered in disbelief.

All: Who????????

Ken: Nobody knows…

Charbonne: Yep! The end!!

Ken: Though, knowing Charbonne, she will want to do another part to it.

Izzy: In which case, I strongly suggest you stop and DON'T review.

TK: Because she'll drag Davis back here and start this mess back up.

Charbonne: (knocks all three of them in the back of the head) Stop that! Well, please review and tell me what you think. And, as always, (checks her notebook) Digimon is not owned by me, or Aquarius.

All but Charbonne: Thank God…
