Chapter 1: New Friends, New Enemies

Jose and Rosa walked around Copper Canyon National Park which despite being in an area of desert, was covered at the bottom of the Copper Canyon by rich vegetation and trees. Rosa turned aroud to look at Jose as she smiled at him making him smile back.

"What's this?" he wondered, as he examined the strange device

"How do you know my name? And who are you?" Hyo asked, not quite sure what to make of this creature. He had never heard of a talking, white seal before, so he wasn't sure it was an animal "And where am I?"

"Well, you're in the Digital World. I'm Gomamon, a Digital Monster or Digimon. And you and I are partners, Hyo. Does that answer your questions?" Gomamon said, looking at Hyo, who looked more confused than ever.

Jose opened his eyes to see that he was not at the Copper Canyon but a forest with werid plant life. He was laying on his back, looking up into the sky. He started to get up and looked around to see that everything he saw was unrealistically bright.

"Hello, Jose!" said a female voice behind him. He turned around to see a bunny like creature with a slight scar on either side of her eyes. She also had sharp teeth as well as long dark claws.
