Blue icy eyes looked at the city while sitting on a hill.
"The end is coming" one of his pale hands came out of the cape he was wearing and moved some blond hair out of his face "The Darkness will arrive, covering innocent hearts with it's shadow"
And suddenly, as if his words had been the signal, flames covered the city.
And so it began.
-"The Return of the Ryunei"-
Taichi Yagami sighed in relief and sat down under a tree. His sister Hikari, that was 13 years old, smiled at him as the General Hinru congratulated him.
"Well done, Yagami. Thanks to you, we could save lots of people, there's a lot of hurt ones but none are dead"
Taichi smiled "Thank my angel"
The General blinked "Angel?"
Taichi nodded "When I was getting the orphan kids out, the roof started falling and just when it was going to hit us, a young boy with a cape appeared and stopped it…" He sighed and smiled up at the sky "He looked at me and then dissapeared"
The General Hinru smirked "Stopped it from falling? That's not possible"
"He used magic, muttered something in another language, I think"
General Hinru looked surprised "Magic?" He laughed and crossed his arms "You know that magic died when…"
"…When the Ryunei dissapeared, yes, I know" Taichi sighed "I'm starting to think this guy who saved us is a Ryunei…"
"But, Taichi…"
"General Hinru, they say they dissapeared…there's no proof that actually says they all died" Taichi looked up at him "This one may be one of the survivors…or the only one"
"You are right in that…" The General sighed "I think I'll go to rest now. Anyway, good work Yagami" And with that he dissapeared between the trees.
Hikari looked up at his brother.
"Taichi?"
"Mmm?"
"What's a Ryunei?"
Taichi smiled at his sister and then looked up at the sky.
"Nobody knows for sure what they are. But people say that Ryunei's are gentle creatures that live in the shadows, they have psychic powers so they sometimes could know the future. They used to help people with their powers but…" Taichi sighed and looked at Hikari "The men got jealous of their power, so they started hunting them, to try and steal their secrets. The Ryunai had the power to fight back, but they didn't want to hurt the men so they ran away…And that's the last thing we know about them."
Hikari looked sad "How could they do that to the Ryunei…?"
Taichi put an arm around her "The men are like that…not all, but a lot of them…Anyway, hopefully, the men minds will change, and the Ryunei will come back…someday…"
And with that hope in their minds, they both fell asleep, while in the shadows, the blue eyed boy looked at them…
Taichi woke up suddenly as he heard the people of the town talking very loudly, rounding something.
He got up and went to the General's side, who moved so Taichi could see better.
In the center of the circle, a young blond boy was unconcious laying on the floor.
He kneeled next to him and looked at the General.
"What's the big deal? He's just uncouncious"
The General was looking at the unconcious boy "Nobody has seen that boy in the town before…"
"He's must be from other town then, probably noticed the flames and came here to see what was happening. The smoke must have gotten him and made him faint" Taichi took the boy on his arms and got him away from the crowd.
The boy suddenly opened his blue eyes and blinked up at Taichi, who grinned at him.
"Good morning" He put him under a big tree and sat down beside him "My name is Taichi. You don't seem to be from this town…"
The boy frowner, confused "Town…?" He looked at Taichi, looking confused and with tears on his eyes "I-I don't remember"
Taichi put an arm around his shoulders "Probably something hit you and made you a little dizzy. Well, you can stay here…" He then smiled at him "I'll take care of you" The boy blushed and looked down.
"T-Thanks…um…anyway, one thing I'm sure of is that my name is Yamato…"
"Yamato…? That's a weird name…in this part of the continent anyway." Taichi grinned "But it's a really nice name"
Yamato blushed even more and then looked up at him.
"What happened to your town?"
Taichi sighed "Nobody knows…it just…started suddenly"
Yamato's eyes looked blank for a second, but as fast as they had changed, they came back to normal. He blinked, confused, and shock his head, but Taichi didn't notice.
"Oh well, I say we feed you and then I'll let you rest…maybe you'll remember something" Taichi smiled at him.
Yamato smiled back and looked really grateful "Thank you, Taichi…for all this…"
Taichi grinned "Don't thank me," He winked at him "after all, I'm a Knight…supposed to protect the danzzels in distress"
Yamato blushed and frowned at him.
"Just kidding, just kidding" He grinned as Yamato hit him with his elbow "Sorry Yamato-chan"
Yamato's eyes widened and he blushed even more "Y-Yamato-chan?"
Taichi smiled "I can call you that, right?"
Yamato, still blushing, nodded "Y-yeah, you can…Taichi-kun…"
Taichi grinned like an idiot "I like the way that sounds"
Yamato gave him a shy smile.
"Well, let's go eat! I'm starving!" Taichi stood up and offered his hand to Yamato.
He took it and they left to go get something to eat.

A while later, Taichi and Yamato were walking in the forest, looking for good trees.
"I like that one!" Taichi pointed to a large tree.
Yamato shoke his head "No, the wood of the Miurnei is too thin. We need to get trees to rebuild a town, not to do a toy table" He pointed to another tree, near the Miurnei "That one is a Hirmu, they seem thin, but their wood is beautiful and pretty good for construction"
Taichi blinked "You seem know a lot about trees, huh?"
Yamato put his hand on the Hirmu and looked up at it "Hard not to… especially this ones, they're beautiful…they fill the air with a calm aura…" He turned to Taichi and grabbed his hand "Look" He put it on the Hirmu and smiled at him "Can you feel it?"
Taichi blinked confused "I don't see anything"
Yamato giggled "You don't always have to see with your eyes" He put his hand on top of Taichi's one and smiled "This is what they call 'Merai', the source of life…"
Taichi looked at the tree "You mean this warm feeling…?"
Yamato nodded "That's the Merai…"
"It feels really nice…" Taichi closed his eyes and smiled "Never knew about this stuff…"
They then sat under the tree, Yamato hugging his knees to himself.
"I don't know how I know this stuff…I just…know it…"
Taichi sighed "Don't worry…you'll find your answers… I'll help you" He smiled at Yamato and took his hand in his own.
Yamato squeezed his hand gratefully and looked up at the sky "We'll find it…" He smiled at Taichi "Together…"
Comments: Ok…haven't written in a long time…I'm thinking that I could leave this here and let you all with the interrogant of what will happen >=)…what do you say? Should I keep writing?… not sure if it's worth the time ^_^U… oh well… Hope to see your reviews

Yamato blushed even more and then looked up at him.
"What happened to your town?"
Taichi sighed "Nobody knows…it just…started suddenly"
Yamato's eyes looked blank for a second, but as fast as they had changed, they came back to normal. He blinked, confused, and shock his head, but Taichi didn't notice.
"Oh well, I say we feed you and then I'll let you rest…maybe you'll remember something" Taichi smiled at him.
Yamato smiled back and looked really grateful "Thank you, Taichi…for all this…"
Taichi grinned "Don't thank me," He winked at him "after all, I'm a Knight…supposed to protect the danzzels in distress"
Yamato blushed and frowned at him.
"Just kidding, just kidding" He grinned as Yamato hit him with his elbow "Sorry Yamato-chan"
Yamato's eyes widened and he blushed even more "Y-Yamato-chan?"
Taichi smiled "I can call you that, right?"
Yamato, still blushing, nodded "Y-yeah, you can…Taichi-kun…"
Taichi grinned like an idiot "I like the way that sounds"
Yamato gave him a shy smile.
"Well, let's go eat! I'm starving!" Taichi stood up and offered his hand to Yamato.
He took it and they left to go get something to eat.

A while later, Taichi and Yamato were walking in the forest, looking for good trees.
"I like that one!" Taichi pointed to a large tree.
Yamato shoke his head "No, the wood of the Miurnei is too thin. We need to get trees to rebuild a town, not to do a toy table" He pointed to another tree, near the Miurnei "That one is a Hirmu, they seem thin, but their wood is beautiful and pretty good for construction"
Taichi blinked "You seem know a lot about trees, huh?"
Yamato put his hand on the Hirmu and looked up at it "Hard not to… especially this ones, they're beautiful…they fill the air with a calm aura…" He turned to Taichi and grabbed his hand "Look" He put it on the Hirmu and smiled at him "Can you feel it?"
Taichi blinked confused "I don't see anything"
Yamato giggled "You don't always have to see with your eyes" He put his hand on top of Taichi's one and smiled "This is what they call 'Merai', the source of life…"
Taichi looked at the tree "You mean this warm feeling…?"
Yamato nodded "That's the Merai…"
"It feels really nice…" Taichi closed his eyes and smiled "Never knew about this stuff…"
They then sat under the tree, Yamato hugging his knees to himself.
"I don't know how I know this stuff…I just…know it…"
Taichi sighed "Don't worry…you'll find your answers… I'll help you" He smiled at Yamato and took his hand in his own.
Yamato squeezed his hand gratefully and looked up at the sky "We'll find it…" He smiled at Taichi "Together…"
