Chapter 3: Sudden Obession And Feelings Renewed

(Destiny stared at Kari with almost hatred in her eyes.)

Destiny: "So we finally meet."

Kari: "I take it Davis told you about me."

Destiny: "You could say that."(They were talking to each other with a little anger and as if none one else was there but them two.) "So your the so called Digidestined of Light, though I don't see why, heartbreaker."(Everyone was shocked to hear her say that.)

Kari: "How did you that and what do you mean by heart breaker."

Destiny: "Davis told me about your adventures in the digital world. I already knew about digimon, I saw it all over the news when you guys saved the world, Davis just told me more about them."(They all were not shocked anymore but Kari still wanted a question answered.)

Kari: "Well since Davis told you all about the digimon theres no reason to try and hide it, but what do you mean by heartbreaker."

Destiny: "Davis told me about the crush he USE to have on you and you knew about it, but still you went behind his back and dated his somewhat rival."

Kari: "Well Davis said he was over it and we are still friends so shut-up."(Davis finally decide to butt in before things got to carried away.)

Destiny: "Now you lis..."

Davis: "Girls! Girls! Chill! Destiny me and Kari are friends now and I'm over my crush. Kari, Destiny is my girlfriend and your my friend, I would hate it if you to didn't get along so please try to bare with each other."(Both of them hesitated a while until Yolei lightly elbowed Kari.)

Kari: "Okay Davis. I'll Try."

Destiny: "Alright Davis I'll do it for you. But I am not friends with her."

Kari: "I wouldn't have it any other way."

(Everyone thought that it was Davis' fought that the two girls didn't like each other, but then again they thought that Davis might not have known Destiny would react like this.Ken and Yolei talked with destiny for a while but had to leave. T.K. then talked to her while Davis talked to Kari after they calmed the girls down.)

T.K.: "So Davis told you about our crest and eggs."

Destiny: "Yeah, he told me somethings about you too T.K."

T.K.: "Ohh really. did he say my name was T.K. or T.M."(They both laughed a little.)

Destiny: "No he said T.K., he told me that you were the most experienced of the new group and that you and him would go at it almost everyday."

T.K.: "Yup sounds like something he would say. So did he say anything about the other Digidestine."

Destiny: "Yeah. He said Yolei's mouth was too big but see was a good friend, Ken was a good soccer player and his best friend, and he said someone named Cody was the most mature of the group despite his age."

T.K.: "What about Kari? Other than the other thing."

Destiny: "He said she was a sweet, kind and very caring person, but do see how he came to that conculsion."

T.K.: "Gee Destiny your harsh."

(Meanwhile Davis was talking to Kari about Destiny.)

Kari: "What the hell do you see in her Davis. She just met me and she's already trying to judge me!"

Davis: "Kari she is just sorta mad cuz of what you did. Though I shouldn't have been so mad myself, you made your chioce and I should have just congradulated you two instead of getting mad. I'm sorry about all this."

Kari: "Don't worry about it."

Davis: "How about I make it up to you. You and T.P. can come with me and Destiny to get something to eat. My treat."

Kari: "Sure lets go ask them."

(They all went to a fast food resturaunt and order. Davis tried to lighten the mood with a little coversation between the girls but that was a very bad idea.....)

Davis: "So what do you guys think of high school so far?"

T.K.: "It's alright."

Destiny: "Yeah its cool, I'm just worried about Economics."

Kari: "You probably couldn't pass lunch if it was a class."

Destiny: "WHAT!"(This made Destiny very angry that she couldn't control her self and she threw a piece of her cheeseburger at Kari, it hit her right in the forehead and the juice from the burger stained her face. She retailiated though buy squirting some ketchup on Destiny's cheek. Destiny just took her drink and pored it on Kari's head. Kari took her drink and threw it on Destiny's shirt. The boy's were going to stop it but didn't want to get in the cross fire. Destiny started squirting mustard all over Kari. And Kari was squirting ketchup on Destiny. then all of a sudden they start laughing leaving the boys confused.)

Destiny: "Ya know Kari your alright."

Kari: "Same here."

T.K.: "What just happened?"

Davis: "I have no idea. Your guess is as good as mine."

Destiny: "Well I guess we should get home and clean up."

Kari: "Yeah we should."

(The girls became friends and they all went home. They went to T.K.'s first then Destiny's, and Davis began walking Kari home. They talked about somethings but Kari just couldn't get something out of her head....)

Kari: 'I just gotta ask him' "Davis I can I ask you two questions?"

Davis: "Sure"

Kari: "Davis why did you give up on me?"(She said as if it was something serious.)

Davis: "Well cuz' of mostly the relationship of you and T.K. but also because of Destiny?"(he told her truthfully and bluntly.) "Why."

Kari: "Ohh I was just curious."

Davis: "So what was your other question?"

Kari: "Ohh...ummm...(She was a bit nervous.)...what made you like me in the first place?"(Davis knew this was comming.)

Davis: "Well when I fisrt saw you you looked like an angel on earth and I started to like you becase of your looks, but as I got to know you there were other things then just your looks."

Kari: "Like what?"

Davis: "Well your sweet and kind, but sometimes its the little things you did like made me feel better when I was sad, even though you laughed at me and made jokes about me, even then your where always the first one to pick me up when I was down. Then thier was your eyes, everytime I looked into them it was if I was looking into heaven and your smile could brighten up my day no matter what bad thing happened to me."(Kari was shocked beyond belief.)

Kari: 'I can't believe Davis acutally thought of me that way. Davis has really changed, but then again he could have always been like this I just never took the time to look' "Davis When you look at me now do you still get those feelings."(They stopped walking and they looked into each others eyes....)

Davis: "Ya konw sometimes I still do." (their faces were getting closer and closer to each other and they were about to kiss untill Destiny cliked into Davis' mind...)

Davis: "uhhhh....Kari its getting late we should get home." (He said pulling his face back. Kari was very disappointed but then she thought about T.K.)

Kari: "Yeah we really should."(Davis walked her to her home then she did something he didn't expect, but she just couldn't resist.)

Kari: "Bye Davis."(She then gave him a tight hug and a kiss on his cheek.)

Davis: "umm...Bye Kari."(She went inside her apartment building leaving Davis standing there holding his cheek. After a few seconds he left and went home. Kari on the other hand was in her apartment thinking about what she did.)

Tai: "Hi Kari! Was that T.K. out there."(Tai said breaking her thoughts.)

Kari: "Who?"

Tai:"T.K. your boyfriend"

Kari: "Ohh..umm..no."(with that she went to her room to find Gattmon sleep. so she just fell backwards on her bed with only one thought in her head....)

Kari: 'I think I have feelings for Davis.'
