Digimon Fan Fiction ❯ Through The Eyes Of A Digimon ❯ Meet our hero... ( Prologue )
I awake from a good evening nap and stretched my furry muscular arms. I took my red paws with my sharp claws and scratched the back of my head. And stand up on my two hind legs, I scan the cave I call 'home'. It wasn't easy being a Digimon. Life was full of fights, dangers, and sacrifices. Every night I gather twigs and big leaves to lay on for a bed and fall into a deep sleep to recover my strength or I just may be wanting a nap. I walk out of my cave to feel the sunlight pierce my eyes. It was beautiful day in the forest of the Digital World. I was thirsty, and there was pond near by where I could get a refreashing drink. I got on my all fours to get there faster, and just like the wind, a dashed off to get to the water.
Each step I made, I could hear my paws smack on the dirt ground with the falling of my three claws on each paw come down with them. My tail, with eight bushy like feathers, came flopping down with each stroke I ran. And my long rabbit like ears moved up and down a little all the way, too. I passed each tree infront of me with ease, it seemed no matter how far I got, I didn't have to stop for a break, and didn't lose my breath. It was remarkable, Just before I took a nap a I had a battle with that Cyclonemon I had ran into. It seemed no matter where us innocent Rookie Digimon went, there was always an evil Digimon wanting to fight.
I reached the pond of water. I walked up slowly just incase no other Digimon was around and hopped a bit when I got close to get there. I bent down putting my furred lips to the water and opened my mouth to let the water flow into my mouth, passing my small white teeth and putting the freashness on my tounge and it sooths down my throat. After my drink, I sit up on my hind legs. I look down at the water to see my relfection.
I am a medium sized Rookie Digimon, I look a bit like a rabbit. My fur is red with streaks of blue on the tip of ears, my bushy tail, my arms and legs, and a long streak on my back that comes all the way to my heas and onto my forehead and two blue streaks on each side of my cheeks. I have a round chubby stomach, and my stomach is white, which stops bedfore it gets to my underchin. My powerful arms support me when I stand on all fours or my rear hind legs. And I have three sharp white claws on each paw. My eyes, round and sparkling, they shine of the color of light baby blue. I sat down with a thump.
"Finally." I sigh, "It has been a tiring day, afterall." I look around the room. "And that Cyclonemon really hit me hard..."

"Super Thunder Strike!!!!" I hollered. My eight feather like tails, filling up with static electic enegery between them, I take in a deep breath and push as hard as I could and a huge mass of electricity and a cantainer of power and energy flys of my tail and goes straight for the Cyclonemon infront of me.
"Graa!" the Cyclonemon roared and put his huge arm up and swifts it around, his paws smacks against my attack and knocks it away. He deflected it!
I grunt, my eyes showing anger and confusion. "Why do you want to fight with me!?" I ask, "I didn't do anything!"
"Hyper Heat!" Cyclonemon growled, he didn't have to explain. And, he was a Virus Digimon, he didn't need a reason but to hurt other Digimon. A stream of shining red lava shot from his mouth, it seemed it had particles of energy beneath it. It came so fast at me, right when I was about to jump out of the way, the attack hit my right in the side knocking me down.
"I don't want to fight!" I whine. But the Cyclonemon came running towards me, growling and grunting. He used his mighty powerful legs to jump up in the air above me. He started coming down and showing his claws to me, it took me minute to realize he was going to slam his claws into me! And, right before he came down, I rolled out of the way. Cyclonemon came slamming down to the ground hard and his claws got stuck into the ground. I was saved and Cyclonemon seemed to be stuck. I turned around to look at him and on all fours, I put my chest out as if I was victorious and opened my mouth a bit to show my teeth clenched together. I growled at Cyclonemon and grunted at him, for I knew I had won. But, that pain in my side from where he had hit me was getting more painful. I than ran off just incase Cyclonemon got unstuck.

Sure, I have been against many Champion and Ultimate Digimon in my days, and there was always one thing I wanted to do, "Digivolve.." I whispered to myself, wondering how wonderful it would be to change into a powerful new Digimon. It must be grand...
After my time at the pond, I walked away from it to go for a stroll. I exited the forest to walk in the open grass. It was so beautiful and I loved feeling the breeze go through my fur. Life was so wonderful. At least, for now....
