As he was driving towards the school, there was a million thoughts racing through his mind. He had finally found out that his best friend liked him and that he wanted to be with him, but like always he made some excuse up so he wouldn't have to talk about it. 'If only you knew how much that kiss really meant Taichi, if only you knew.' Matt thought to himself.

As he pulled up to the school Matt and Tai both got out the car and headed towards the computer lab. As they walked in they saw T.K. and Kari sitting, talking to Izzy.

"What's the problem?" asked Matt.

"Well we really don't know." Answered Izzy. he was typing away on a computer.

"Why did you call us?" Tai asked confused.

"Because there might ne a threat to the Human and Digital World again." Joe said walking into the room.

"Hey Joe." said Matt

Joe walked in and sat down next to Izzy and started gathering information.

"There was a small but definite surge in the barrier between the worlds. At first I just put it in the back of my mind and didn't worry about it." Izzy explained.

"What made you change your mind?" asked Kari.

"We got an e-mail from Gennai." Joe replied. "He said something was coming and it was big."

"But do the threats ever stop?" T.K. asked with a smile.

"Funny replied Izzy.

"We called you here just in case we might need you. So sit back and wait." Izzy finished talking and went back to his computer.

Matt wasn't wuite sure what was going on but he was still woozy from the news Tai had just landed on him. he sat down to maybe help clear his thoughts but there was too many. So he decieded to walk out his problems.

"Hey guys," Mat started to say when Tai interrupted him.

"It's okay. I'll call you if we need you." Tai said with a smile and a nod.

Matt got up and walked to the soccer field. As he was walking all hid thoughts came weaving together into on large cobweb of thoughts. 'Why did you have to tell me now?' Matt wondered to himself 'We have been friends for many years and you wait till now.' There were too many ways to think on how this could turn out. He couldn't take all this thinking. it was starting to hurt his head. he kicked a pop can and yelled as loud as he could.

"Ahhhh!!!!"

"You know yelling only hurts your voice." a famliar voice replied to his yell.

Matt swung around to see his little brother standing there.

"I don't care." Matt said kicking another can.

"Now I know something is wrong. The great Yamato Ishida doesn't care what happends to his voice." T.K. replied sarcastically. 'Come on talk to me. I'm your brother."

Matt's thoughts were still going haywire, but he needed to talk about it sometime. As he sat down on a bench T.K. followed and sat down beside his big brother.

"You were right. i do like Tai," Matt started to explain." I think I always have since the first day we met. I've always had these feelings for him but I always pushed them aside because we were best friends." Tears were starting to form in his eyes.

T.K. hugged his big brother, allowing him to let go of these emotions.

"I'm sorry T.K." Matt said wiping the tears from his eyes.

"It's okay, we all need a good cry sometimes." T.K. said warmly.

"Right when Kari texted Tai, he had just told me how he felt about me. He kissed me Takeru. It was the best thing that's happened to me. I told him that we couldn't be together because of what people might think." Matt said with a smile. "but he saw right through and told me that it wasn't true, and he was right like always. I was just scared to admit my emotions. What am I suppose to do?" asked Matt.

"I think you know what to do." T.K. replied nudging his brother to do what's right.

"Thanks Takeru." Matt said as he got up with a smile and made his way to the computer lab. As he walked in he saw all of the other Digidestined had arrived, but yet he didn't care. He only cared about one thing, Taichi Yamgami.

He spotted Tai right away and walked up to him.

"Taichi." Matt said to his best friend.

"Yeah." Tai asked with a puzzled look on his face.

"You showed me who I really am. Thank you." Matt said and before he knew it, Matt was kissing Tai.

Everyone stopped what they were doing to look.

Matt had longed for this ever since Tai had kissed him. Now he wanted to show Tai that he wasn't scared anymore.

Tai was moaning in the back of his throat, no one could hear it but Matt could feel it. Matt was running his slender fingers through Tai's brunette hair. While Tai was caressing the back of Matt's neck. When they finally stopped Tai looked like he was in a daze.

"Yama." was the only thing Tai could say.

"Yama?" Matt asked.

"It's a nickname I made for you but never got around to calling you it. Is it okay?" Tai asked.

"Just perfect." Matt replied with a smile.

"Okay back to reality." Izzy interrupted.

"Oh sorry," Matt said "I just had to get that off my chest."

"It's okay I was starting to wonder when you guys were gonna man up." Kari said with her gentle smile.

Everyone laughed and Izzy started to talk.

"The digimon trying to break through is Petrimon. He is a rookie level so he shouldn't be hard to deal with. Do I have any voulenteers?"

"Kari and I should be fine with this. but nobody leave yet, Kari's got a strange feeling and so do I." T.K. said as he and Kari walked up to the computer and opened the portal to the Digital World.

"Digi Port Open!" Kari yelled as she pointed her Digivice at the screen. Then T.K. and Kari went through the portal.
