TK had been waiting for those words. He removed the veil from Kari's face and kissed her softly. Thunderous cheers came from the crowd in the church, Mimi's being the loudest. She was sitting beside Tai and his wife Jun.

At the reception, Mimi walked over to the bride and groom. "I'm so glad things worked out for you two," she said. "But Kari, I'd better not find out you not making TK happy."

"You'll be the first to know if I do," Kari said with a smile. "And that is a big IF." She then kissed TK's cheek.

"I'm glad we can still be friends," TK said. "And that's all that matters."

Mimi then said her good-byes, and left; both the wedding, and her memories of that night behind.
