Digimon Fan Fiction ❯ Tread Quickly ❯ Tread Quickly ( One-Shot )
A/N: Ah, poetry, my first writing enjoyment. As for the talk of death, in the original Japanese version of Digimon, the girls that Vamdemon (Myostimon) fed from when he hunted did end up dying. So whether you're in a depressed mood (I know I am) or not, I hope you enjoy my poem.

Tread Quickly
By Frozen Phoenix
Walk quickly in the dark night.
Be careful where you tread.
For when the darkness holds you close,
You may just end up dead.
The misty fog surrounds you,
How quickly it seems to fly.
Run fast! Don't look behind you.
For tonight is the night you may die.
It happens all too swiftly,
First no one, then he's there.
His brilliant blue eyes captivate you.
It's far too late to be scared.
The wind does whisper softy,
Flee now, if you can!
But you cannot even hear it,
And silently you stand.
His arms do wrap around you.
And fangs do pierce your neck.
Your lifeblood flow from within you,
Will there be nothing left?
Then callously he drops you.
The blooming rose doth fall.
And he alights to his dark sanctuary,
And pays you no mind at all.
And there you lie in shadows.
Silent cold and still,
The breath of death whispers in your ear.
Who knew that beauty could kill?
Walk quickly in the dark night.
Be careful where you tread.
For when the darkness holds you close,
You may just end up dead.
