Trust me

The day was starting out to be a happy bay. Sunshine and butterflies filled the sky and the DD were spending this nice day in the park. Prying their friend Daisuke off of one of the trees, at least the girls were. The other guys were too busy laughing, making jokes or in the case of Joe taking pictures of the situation.

Yes, it was defiantly going to be one of thoughs happy fuzzy days, full of happiness and pleas of mercy.

Dai: no.

Yolei: come on Daisuke.

Dai: No.

Sora: it wont hurt.

Dai: NO!

Kari: Daisuke you don't have a choice!

Dai: No Kari!

Mimi: That's it girls. Pull!

Dai: Ack!

Kari, Yolei, Sora and Mimi started to attempt to pull and/or pry (Yolei was using a crowbar) Diasuke off of the poor tree that he had latched onto. The guys (Tai, Iori, and TK) just stood by laughing while Joe was taking pictures for everyone.

Dai: NO! I don't wana go! You can't make me! ::holds on to the tree harder::

As Daisuke clings to the tree like his life depended on it, Ken strolls up to the group.

Joe: Oh hey Ken. Want me to e-mail you copies of the pictures after their developed?

Ken: Sure Joe. I take it he still refuses to go?

Iori: Yes, he refuses to think logically.

Ken: Why must he be so difficult?

Iori: you should know that better than any of us, you are dating him after all.

Ken smiles at Iori as he goes over to talk his koi off of the tree.

Ken: Ooh Daisuke…

Dai: Ken! Thank god you're here! They're trying to force me to go. Please make them stop.

TK: And to think a year ago he would have done anything to have Kari grabbing him.

Kari: Hush TK your not helping.

Dai: Yeah you tell him Kari, now le'go!

Ken: ::has a roll of duct tape behind his back:: if I get them to let go of you will you come down from there? Just to hear me out?

Dai: Uhmm…::looks at Ken's sad puppy dog face:: ok, but then I'm outa here.

All: Deal.

What Daisuke doesn't notice is that as they back away from him, their forming a circle to prevent his escape or his retune to the tree. So... After Daisuke shuffled down from his lofty perch…

Dai: Ok Ken, what were you going to ack!

They all grab him and start wrapping him up in duct tape.

Ken: This is for your own good.

Iori: Yea, you'll thank us later.

Dai: Ah! You traitors!

Tai: You need to make a good impression for the new DD.

Dai: But I don't wana!

All: Tough! Now quit struggling!

After fifteen minuets, lots of threats and two rolls of duct tape, Daisuke is finally tied up. Sitting in a wagon for the sake of convenience.

Dai: mph?

Tai: because you refused to go.

Dai: mph mm?

TK: because your 'special'.

Dai: hmph phm mh…

Ken: Dai don't be rude to TK.

Kari: yeah, and TK leave him alone.

Both Daisuke and TK make sad little whimmpery noises. The others laugh at this.

Tai: That's better. Ken do you think you can handle things from here?

Ken: Sure.

Tai: Great. Well, I'm off.

Kari: Have fun saving your boyfriend from Jun.

Tai: ::in an overly happy voice:: oh I will!

And with that Tai runs off faster than a speeding bullet. With good reason too, the last time they couldn't get rid of her, she got them kicked out of the movies because she wouldn't stop crying when Bambies mother died. Thus running a perfectly good make-out session.

Ken: Ok, as much as we'd love to see how Jun weasels her way onto another date with Yamato and Tai. Daisuke has a dentist's appointment.

Dai: ::whimmper::

Ken: So unless you want to get a root-canal too, we'll be on our way.

So… As Ken pulls the wagon holding a VERY upset Daisuke, the others watch and joke about who's website the pictures are going to go on. Mimi mentions something about Daisuke starting a new fashion.

~End~

Note: happy story? I know how Dai feels; I had one finished a few weeks ago. It took 7 trips. Icky… but the cool thing was that since the nerve was now gone, the rest of the drilling and smoothing of the filling was done with out novicane. Not that it mattered. My dad still ran outa there. ::snickers:: yes I did try and have my dad watch. I am not evil. I'm sweet an' innocent like a new born baby devil. J

And now I leave you all with wonderful thoughts about your next dental trip. Have fun!

P.S. reviews, C&C, and flames all read and enjoyed.
