The Slumber Party

Mimi has a crush to Matt and Tai to Sora and Sora to Matt and Matt to Sora. It was their last year in high school.

During their 2nd year, Mimi had moved to Odaiba, Japan from America. Her parents allowed her to stay her as long as she had her best friends.

Their grand ball is coming soon. They only had 1 week to prepare and find a partner.

It was Saturday. Mimi, Sora, Yolei, and Kari had their slumber party to the Kamiya's apartment. Mimi came first. She's an early bird you know.

At that time, Kari isn't home. She went to the grocery store to but some stocks. Tai…on the other hand is home and waiting for the guys to come…they're also having a party.

He heard a knock on the door. He opened it and saw a beautiful young lady with pink hair and gorgeous body.

"Hey Meems, come in" Mimi entered with her belongings.

She wondered why Kari is out of her sight.

"Sis went to the grocery store. She left a note on the kitchen for you girls" the cute guy led her to the kitchen.

He also grabs some drinks. He's waiting for the guys to come. They have the whole apartment for a month. The Kamiya couple was out for some business trip.

Mimi grabbed the note.

Hey girls,

I'm out to buy some stocks for the house. I'll be back later. Feel at home!

She sighed. She thought of something funny.

"I wonder why didn't you buy those stocks instead of Kari" a playful smile paste on her face.

He accidentally spit out the beer in his mouth after hearing those words.

*-/-* If you don't get it well it means that Taichi is a lazy lame old brother.

"What did you just said? That I'm a bad old brother?" smoke came out of his ears.

He's mad. Such a jerk. Mimi put down her things.

"You said that" and she laughed teasingly.

She already hit Tai a nerve.

"Why YOU…grrr" his teeth were clenching.

But she played an innocent girl wondering.

"Where shall I place my things, Mr. Taichi Kamiya" even though she knew where to placed it.

Tai got her. He chases her. They're just like little children playing chasing game.

"Come here Mimi!" he shouted.

She blinks and out her tongue out.

"NO WAY!" and gave him a puppy smile.

`Uhoh…I'm trap' in her thoughts when she knew that she was in a corner.

She stopped and looked really frightened. Tai was running too fast and it's impossible to stop immediately. He bumped into her and they fell on the floor…they're right behind the front door.

He's on top of her. Luckily, he landed his hands on the floor before he hit his forehead into Mimi's.

The door suddenly open and it bear two young ladies.

"Hikari" they chorus.

No one answered them. They looked around and saw Mimi and Tai lying on top of each other on the floor…staring each other.

They were shocked to see them like that. There was an eerie silence for a while. They broke a laugh when the two looked at them.

"We better go girl, we shouldn't disturb their precious moment," Sora started and they walked out in the room and head to Kari's room.

They blushed crimson.

"Hey!" they shouted in unison.

Again…they blush…blush…blush…

They stared each other again.

"Would you mind" Mimi said irritated.

"Okay" he stand and lend a hand to her but this time, he avoided her eyes.

She accepted his help and after that she give Tai a powerful punch that made him fall upside down. She searched for the girls.

"You deserve that!" she said rudely before leaving.

Tai was in upside down position. Not later after that happened, Kari arrived with four plastic bags. She found Tai rubbing his head.

"Tai, what happened?" and hand him the bags.

"Your girls arrived and that pink monster gave me a hit" he murmured.

"Great! Thanks big bro!" and she gave him a quick hug and left.

`Yea…yea…girls are so dummy and selfish.'

After that, his buddies arrived and saw him arranging the groceries Kari bought.

"Hey dude! Let's start the party!" Matt said as he threw him a drink.

He catches it.

"We should finish this first" the rest of the boys fell anime style.

"We?" Tk asked.

"Yes, we" he answered calmly.

They had no other choice than to help him.

YOLEI'S POV

I was ready to leave when Sora came. After waving goodbye to mom, we head our way to Kari's house.

"Hikari!" we greeted in unison.

No one answered us. It's strange. I mean, I used to sleep in there for how many times and each time I or we go there somebody usually greet us…but this time…

We looked around and saw Mimi and Tai lying on top of each other. We're shocked of course. They used to be best friends and usually fight each other each time they saw each other. But now…DUH! Easy to say, they're lying on the floor ready to make love…but of all places in the house…why in the living room? I laughed inside.

They looked at us, we started to laugh as we see them blushed crimson.

"We better go girl, we shouldn't disturb their precious moment" Sora started and we walked to Kari's room.

In there, we burst into laughter. I almost cried in happiness. After dropping my belongings, I threw myself to Kari's bed in the lower deck of their double deck bed.

"I didn't thought that Mimi's crush was Tai and so as Tai with Mimi" I said.

Sora joined me.

"Yea, she never told me who's her crush among the boys. And the most unbelievable, she also told me that she hated Tai for her whole life even though they're best friends. Lucky for them both, they're enjoying each other's company right now" she said as she placed her hands on the back of her neck.

"She's so lucky having a great time with the one she loves most. I envy her" I said frankly and a picture of Ken's face flashed into my mind.

`He's such a man'

"Me too, I wish Matt and me we're like them. He's so distant to me ever since we're in 2nd year. I hope he feels the way I feel" she said.

Suddenly…Mimi came into the room. She threw herself on a couch in the room. She's still blushing.

"Hey girl, how did it go?" Sora said and pastes a playful smile.

I heard the brunette sighed.

"Leave me alone" she murmured.

Before I could join their conversation, Hikari burst into the room.

"Hey girls!" she greeted.

"Hey!" we answered back except Mimi.

Sora swings her elbow to mine's. I get what she wanted me to do…to tell Kari what happened lately between the two.

I whispered her what happened lately. After that, she end up laughing like a maniac. I seldom see her doing like that.

*-/-* My POV

Kari laughed.

"Great! Way to go girl! You're my brother's first time and I know it's yours' too!" she said in the middle of laughter.

Sora and Yolei joined her.

"What do you mean? Nothing happened between us! You really want to know what happened!?! …" she explained to them what really happened.

After that, they burst out laughter. This made her blushed redder.

"Okay then, shall we start the party now…uh…umm…Meems…where are your things?" Kari asked as she notice that her belongings were missing.

"Yea Meems, where'd you placed it?" Sora added.

Mimi recall where she left it.

"In the kitchen!" she exclaimed.

"Let's get it!" Yolei said.

They headed to the kitchen.

MIMI'S POV

We were heading our way to the kitchen where I left my belongings while that IDIOT Tai chased me. My concentration was not on the way. I'm in the middle of my thoughts. I bowed my head enough for me to hide my face. Suddenly, I bumped something. Then…someone called my name and Tai's…TAI!?!

TAI'S POV

We just finished arranging the groceries. Besides, Kari did her part and it's just right to do my part too. I can't just dumped and forget what happened lately between Mimi and me. I'm acting weird. I dunno what's happening to me.

"Tai, are you ok?" Ken asked worriedly.

It's really weird. I never expected him to notice me. He used to be our enemy, but now…we're friends...close friends…

"Yea Pal, what's gone into you? You're acting really weird" my best pal asked me.

I told them what happened lately. They end up laughing. I can't help to blush.

"Let's start the party, okay" I said changing the topic.

They nodded. I saw them lifting up their belongings. We'll be using the living room since Kari and the girls were using our bedroom. Just as what I've told ya, I'm not in myself lately. I'm not looking on the way. Then, I bumped somebody. Someone called my name and Mimi's…MIMI!?!
