CHAPTER ONE Hero's Little Secret

"Well that was a pain in the you know what." Davis said as he and the rest of the
digidestined watched as the remains of Malomyotismon slowly disappeared. Davis sighed
then continued "Man I really need a vacation from all this Digidestined stuff.". Tai looked
over at Davis with a bit of annoyance on his face and asked "Why are you complaining
Davis?".Davis looked over at Tai and said "Because I'm tired from all of the Digidestined
stuff that I've gone threw this school year...um why do ask?". Tai smirked a bit and said "Oh
nothing, Just that it sounds to me that you played a very major role in us beating
Malomyotismon."
"Tai that wasn't nice to sa..." Kari started to say, but was interupted by Davis saying "It's
ok Kari-chan, he does have a point in that I shouldn't be complaining, but ". Davis then got
a sarcastic look on his face and said "Remind me next time that Malomyotismon uses his
Illusion Mist on us not to save Tai from his fake dream to be with Sora." Tai's face lit up with
anger while Sora's face lit up with a blush that could make a perfect combo with her hair.
Tai walked right up to Davis, grabbed the collar of his shirt saying "You've got no right
saying that Daisuke.". Kari started to walk toward them both, but stopped when she saw
Davis gester to her that he had things under control, while saying to Tai "Tai for your
information if it wasn't for me you wouldn't be able to have that desire anymore cause you
would be dead."
"Heh, Why should I thank you when I know that Myotismon dosen't have a attack called
Illusion Mist, better yet why should I believe you?" Tai asked. "Because, Tai there are
people here who were actually affected by that attack." Kari said. Without looking at his
sister Tai asked "And who they be?". "All of the younger Digidestined...except Daisuke." Kari
said. "And this attack makes your deepest desires come true right?" Tai asked. "Yes." Kari
replied. Tai chuckled a bit then said "You've got to be kidding me Kari, Davis not having any
desires, none the less having any desires to be with you is same thing as saying as Davis is
the smartest person on the face of the earth and the Digital World.".
Kari grinned a bit then looked at Davis and said "Davis can you remind of something
to.". Davis looked over at Kari and asked "Yeah sure What?". "Remind me to make you
some homemade ramen tomorrow for lunch ok."Kari said. Davis cocked his head to the side
and asked "Yeah sure, but why?". "I think you already know the answer to that Dai-kun."
Kari said with a very light blush on her cheeks. Once Davis noticed Kari was blushing he
blushed a little and said "Sure thing Hika-chan.". Meanwhile Tai was listening and watching
as Kari and Davis were having there little conversation and once they were done he asked
"Would either of you mind telling me what that little conversation was all about?". Kari
looked up at brother (Good now I can get two things out of the way) she thought then asked
"Ok but can you do something for me first?". "Yeah, what" Tai asked. Kari grinned a bit
more then asked "Could you please let go of my boyfriend's collar cause your kind of
hurting him?".
