Wolf's Fang: First day at school: Part Two

As Davis and Melody entered the classroom all eyes were set on the two. Everything was silent, well almost silent there were some girls that started whispering to each other and guys that were staring at Melody up and down. Davis saw TK and Kari sitting next to each other also watching him and Melody and for a second Davis thought he saw Kari with a look of jealous. I must be blind or something, but did I just saw Kari with a look of jealousy……what am I thinking, all that ice-cream I eat yesterdaymust be getting to my head.

“Look everybody is the new sweethearts” one of the guys yelled out making everyone laugh or giggle, Davis and Melody started blushing crimson red.

“Ok settle down class anyways, you must be the new student, Melody right?” the teacher asked.

“Yep that's me” Melody answered giving one of her sweet smiles. Davis couldn't help, but blush a little.

“And Davis why are you late on the first day of school again?” the teacher asked snapping Davis out of his thoughts.

“Oh I was just showing Melody around since she's new here that's all” Davis answered hoping the teacher wouldn't count him late especially on the first day of school.

“I guess that's ok Davis please take your seat and Melody you can seat next to him” the teacher said. As they went to their seats they saw some people looking at them smirking or just smiling.

( The Digimon Room )

Gatomon had gone back to her friends. “Gatomon where were you?” Hawkmon asked.

“Oh you know just around anyways has Veemon come back yet?” Gatomon asked even though she new the answered.

“Well here they come, HEY VEEMON” Hawkmon yelled as he saw his friend, but what confused him was that he was with another Gatomon a black one to be precise.

“Hey guys sorry I was gone for so long, I was looking for someone and I found her allow me to introduce you to BlackGatomon, Davis' friend's digimon partner” Veemon said introducing her.

“So who's the blue lizard?” the male Gatomon asked in a rude way.

“Excuse, but I would like it if you didn't talk to my friend like that” Hawkmon exclaimed.

“Chill out he was only kidding right?” The Floramon said trying to prevent a fight.

“Whatever.” The male Gatomon replied. He then walked away to some other digimon.

“What a jerk.” Hawkmon said.

“Yeah, sorry about that” A blue-white cat digimon said. “He makes us cat digimon look bad.

“Huh another, Gatomon?” Wormon said.

“Yep I'm IceGatomon.” IceGatomon replied. “I'm a data champion digimon.”

“Cool.” Patamon said.

“You guys want to come over to and meet some of my friends?” IceGatomon asked.

“We would be delighted.” Hawkmon replied.

“Great, follow me.” She said before she walked away. Gatomon, Hawkmon, Wormon, Armadillomon, Floramon, BlackGatomon, Veemon and the two Patamon's followed after her. They walked to a small group of digimon. There was a yellow fox, a black dog, and a gray bunny digimon talking to each other. IceGatomon and the others arrived and the introduction began.

“Hey guys I found some new digimon.” IceGatomon said to the tree digimon. “This is Gatomon, Hawkmon, Wormon, Armadillomon, Floramon, BlackGatomon, Veemon and those two are Patamon.” She said each time pointing to the digimon when she said their names.

“Hello I'm Terriermon.” The small bunny digimon said. “Oh my, what a good looking pussycat” Terriermon joked when he looked at BlackGatomon.

“Say that again and you're dead.” BlackGatomon threatened.

“Oh, feisty” Terriermon joked.

“Terriermon behave” The tall yellow fox digimon said, “Hello I'm Renamon.” Renamon said. Everyone greeted Renamon and Terriermon as they went to the last dog looking digimon.

“I'm Dobermon.” He said. Everyone greeted him also before they started talking again.

( DAVIS' CLASSROOM )

“Well class since it's the first day of school you all can talk to each other, just don't be too loud” the teacher said as she left the room with some paper in her hands.

Everyone started talking as soon as the teacher left. TK and Kari walked over to Davis and Melody to talk. “Hey guys what's up” TK asked.

“Not much just catching up on old times with Melody” Davis answered.

“So for how long have you guys known each other?” Kari asked hiding her jealousy towards Melody, but Melody could tell she was acting a bit weird, but she just ignored it.

“Well we were born on the same day and we became friends when we were 4 or 5 so I think we known each other for about ten or more years” Melody answered.

“Whoa that's a very long time, no wonder you two are such good friends” TK replied smirking, he knew there was something going on between Davis and Melody.

“And how did you guys meet” Kari asked, still playing a game of 20 questions.

“Well that would be sort of a funny story” Davis answered having another flashback.

( FLASHBACK )

We see a lot of people talking to each other eating hamburgers and hotdogs; apparently it was a party or a barbeque. We now see a five year-old Davis just looking around since there really weren't any kids his age to play with, while walking around he didn't notice where he was going and bumped with someone knocking him and the person down. “Ouch, note to self watch were your going” Davis said rubbing his forehead, then he looked at the person who he bumped into and he started blushing.

It was Melody when she was five-years old and she looked at Davis and saw he was blushing, and then she remembered she was wearing a dress. “You pervert!” Melody said blushing putting her dress down.

“Ah! I'm sorry I didn't mean to” Davis said putting his hands up in defense.

“Hmph, I don't believe you” Melody said crossing her arms. Davis then got an idea and went to some flowers near by. He then tapped Melody on the shoulder and when she turned around he gave her a beautiful rose, Melody took it as she blushed saying a small thank you.

“So you want to play?” Davis asked smiling nervously.

“Yeah that sounds like fun let's go” Melody said as she took Davis hand.

( ENDFLASHBACK)

TK and even Kari couldn't help, but laugh at how they met. “Man I can't believe you guys met that way” TK said in laughs. Kari was laughing hard too.

“Yeah I know it's pretty weird, but I still have the same rose that Davis gave me” Melody replied.

“Whoa I can't believe you still have that rose” Kari said surprised that a rose would last that long.

“I know it's amazing, but it reminds me of how we met as weird as it is” Melody said.

Time had gone by very quickly it was already the end of the first day of school and Davis, Melody, Kari. Ken, Yolei, TK, Cody had gotten their digimon and were saying goodbye to each other. “How about we met at the park in a hour and we can introduce Melody to the older digidestined “Davis said.

“Yeah that would be great idea, well see you later man” Ken said as he and Davis made a special hand shake saying goodbye to everyone else.

“Later TK, Yolei, Kari, Cody and Ken bye” Melody said saying goodbye.

Davis and Melody started walking with their digimon, “So you met BlackGatomon, Veemon?” Melody asked.

“Yeah we meet each other when we were in the gym” BlackGatomon replied, walking really close to Veemon.

“Is it just me or are they being way too friendly?” Davis whispered to Melody.

“You know I think that maybe they like each other, look at how they get so close to each other” Melody whispered back.

After walking some more Melody told Davis that she moved to the apartment that was next to his.

“Davis can I ask you a question?” Melody asked him.

“Oh sure” Davis replied.

“Davis today you didn't seem like your old self, like the Davis I knew…what's wrong?” Melody asked.

There was a small silence as Davis tried to think of a way to answer her question, “Well you see after what happened back on our old hometown I just wanted to forget how I use to be because it would just brought back memories painful memories, that I just want to forget” Davis replied.

Melody stopped walking at looked at the ground sadly, “Does that mean you wanted to forget me too Davis” Melody said with a sad voice and in near tears.

`Way to go Davis you just made the most important person in your life feel bad, again didn'tyou do it enough two years ago'. Davis thought to himself and he soon hugged Melody.

Melody felt a bit surprise by Davis' action, “Davis?” Melody whispered. The digimon were also confused.

“I'm sorry I didn't mean it like that, I hate seeing you sad like this especially if it's me causing your pain, after what happened five years ago I never want to see you sad like this, your right I shouldn't try to forget the past. Remember Melody I would never tried to forget you” Davis replied.

“So will you try to be your real self…please Davis” Melody said looking into his eyes.

“Alright I promise” Davis said as the two continue to hug each other, Veemon and BlackGatomon smiled at each other seeing their two partners hugging like that.

A/N: Alright I hope you like this chapter. I was thinking to make it a daikari at first, but now I don't know anymore, so I would like to know what you guys would think it's better: Davis/Kari or Davis/Melody, anyways review.
