In a room,a computer which is hibernates suddenly active.A portal appears at the monitor,

flashing bright light.

“We have arrive,”a voice heard.

As the light fades,two figures revealed.

Ken sighed“It's 8 pm.Do you want to have dinner?”

Ken opens the door,his mother at the kitchen.

“Lain,my mother is here,”he said.

They walk out slowly.

“I forgot.Lain,my family name is Ichijouji.”

Lain noded.They walk to the kitchen.

“Ken,you have your friend here.Who is she?”a woman asked.

Mrs.Ichijouji looks at her and a Digimon that loos like a puppy.Lain,is wearing something

that disturbs the woman.

“I'm Lain,it's a pleasure to meet you Mrs.Ichijouji,”Lain smiled.

“You have cudly Digimon,what her name?”stared at Shine.

She smiled“I'm Shine,”

“Can I hold you?”Mrs. Ichijouji asked.

“Of course!”Shine jumped to her arms.

“You are cute,”

She strokes Shine,crystal-white fur.Shine have beautiful blue eyes,two adorable ears,

a short tail and an undeveloped fangs. Then she looks to Ken.

“Ken,takes food for both of them,”she ordered.

Shine looked to her“Can I go now,I want to play with Wormmon?”

“Sure you can,”she puts Shine down slowly.

Shine and Wormmon rush to the living room.There is an exotic,furnished, big rattan ball

there waiting for them.

“Lain,join us for dinner,”Mrs.Ichijouji pleaded.

Ken came back from the kitchen with a tray of food for the Digimon.He puts it near the

dining table.The food is consists of nutrious-cat-food in bowls of cold milk.Ken notices

that Wormmon loves the food.However,he doesn't know Shine's reaction.Afterall,she is a

puppy,right?Puppy hates anything about kitten just like cat and dog.If it's true,then,what

would happen?

Ken turned to his back“Wormmon,Shine your food ready.”

“Shine,let's eat,”Wormmon rushed to their food.

Ken takes his seat beside Lain.He glances to the back.Shine and Wormmon are enjoying

their food,which brings relief for him.They start the dinner.

“Where you live?”Mrs.Ichijouji asked.

“In the Digital World,”Lain replied.

“Wait,you said you live in Okinawa?”Ken stared to her.

“I never thought you would help me,”she stopped.

“Why?”Ken asked.

“I don't want to live at an orphanage!”Lain was angered.

Mrs.Ichijouji sighed“It's alright Lain.You can stay here,”

“Ichijouji-san..”she couldn't believe this.

Ken was shocked“Mother, is it okay?”

“Ken,take the dishes.I want to show Lain her room.”

“Lain this is your room.The toilet and bathroom are there.”

They enter the room.Shine and Wormmon follow them and quickly jump onto a bed.

“This is your bed,”Ms. Ichijouji smiles to Lain and the Digimon.

“You two, stop that.”Lain grab them.

“But,but we are having fun,Lain,”Shine tried to escaped.

“Yes,but Mrs.Ichijouji is here.”Lain commented.

Lain bowed to Mrs.Ichijouji“Sorry about that.”

“It's okay.Lain,tommorow,we'll buy you clothes.”Mrs.Ichijouji said.

“Thank you,Mrs.Ichijouji,”Lain said.

“For tonight,borrows pajama from Ken,”Mrs.Ichijouji said.

As Ms.Ichijouji walks out,Ken enters the room,bringing along the pajama.

“Here the pajama,Lain,”Ken gived the pajama.

“Thank you.”

Ken noded“You don't have to thank me.You live with us now.”

“Then goodnight.Let's go Wormmon.”

“Okay Ken.Goodnight Shine,”they walked out of the room.

“Bring in Subject 32 “a voice echoed.

“Start the test on her”another voice said.

“Don't”a pleading voice heard.

Lain waked.Shine is sleeping beside her.

“That a bad dream.”she muttered.

She slowly retreat to her sleep.Lain had her dream at the same time as Sasuke

(Course of History)grabed Nasuki's necklace.Suddenly,her Digivice flashes.Shine wakes

up, aggressive.Lain gazes outside her window.

Outside,Ken is picking up Wormmon,glaring to a dark figure.

“Shine,it's alright.Go to sleep,”Lain patted her at the back.

Momments later,the figure retreat slowly before vanishing among trees.
