Stallyns: I thought I'd take a break from my first piece of crap fic, Mallrats: My Digimon Version (it's on MediaMiner.Org for now until I get better at writing), and do this one since it was the first fic that I ever thought to write. Rika may be OOC, so I apologize for that. Lucemon: Gotcha!

Rika Nonaka, the Digimon Queen and former ice hearted tamer, was out taking a stroll one day. She was busy thinking, thinking about a certain goggle-headed tamer that she has come to respect.

Smiling a bit `Takato' she thought. `Why is it that whenever I think about you, I just feel like melting. What is it about you that make's me feel this way.'

She kept walking with no real destination. All she wanted to do was clear her mind.

"Renamon" she said, calling for her partner.

"What is it Rika?" Renamon asked, as she appeared right next to her Tamer.

"Renamon, do you remember the first time that we met Takato?" Rika asked.

"Yes, it was at the park when I first fought with Guilmon. Why do you ask?"

"Do you remember what he said to us?"

"I do not remember his words exactly, but I do remember him saying that Digimon are supposed to be your friends and not tools." Renamon said, while looking up at the sky.

"I remember those words. I never did understand him at that time. But as our paths continued to cross and you digivovled for the first time, I started to really think over what he said."

"What is this about, Rika"

"Oh, nothing. It's just that I can't get my mind off of Takato"

"Why is that?"

"I…I'm not really sure." Rika stuttered.

"I believe that you're starting to fall for him." replied Renamon.

"What?! What makes you think I'm falling for Goggle-Head?"

"Oh, nothing." Renamon said, smirking a bit.

"Hmph. You can leave now Renamon"

"Yes Rika." Renamon said, leaving Rika alone with her thoughts.

`Who does she think she is?' Rika thought. `I do not like Takato that way'

`Oh please, who do you think you're kidding' replied a voice.

"Who said that?" Rika asked, starting to freak out a bit.

`I did' the voice replied.

Looking around, "Where are you?" Rika said.

`Honey, I'm you heart.'

"That's a load of crap. You think I'm going to believe you."

`Think what you want, but I can help you with your problem.'

"What problem?"

`Your feelings for Takato'

"I don't love Takato!" Rika shouted.

`Yeah right. I know you love the boy. I'm your heart and I know these things. So please, quit kidding yourself.'

"Fine, maybe I do like Goggle-Head. But so what, I know he doesn't care for me that way."

`Why do you think that?'

"If you're my heart, aren't you supposed to know the answer?"

`Yes I do, but I'd rather hear it from you.'

"Grrr, fine. It's…it's because he likes that sock girl, Jeri."

`What makes you think that?'

"Well, he was always watching out for her. And all he cared about when we fought the D-Reaper was her."

`Is that it? Honey, he was probably doing all that since she is one of his best friends.'

"Friends, I never really cared to have them since…since my father left me and mom. I locked myself away from everybody and didn't care what happened any of them since that incident."

`But, you do have plenty of friends now.'

"Well, the Tamers are the only ones that I can call my friends. Everybody else only likes me for being the Digimon Queen."

`Okay, okay, let's not forget about what we were originally talking about. Now tell me, why do you love Takato?'

Thinking of him, trying to feel

What it would be like, if he held me near.

Walking around, all by myself,

Searching for love, with somebody else.

"Well, he's the nicest boy that I have ever met. The only person that has tried to be my friend. If it wasn't for him I would probably continue to hunt down Digimon and load their data. And my relationship with my mother and Renamon has grown, since, well, since we became friends."

`Is that it?'

"He's also one of the cutest guys that I have met."

`Cute huh? That definitely doesn't sound like you, Rika Nonaka.'

Chuckling "Heh, you're right. But I have changed a lot after all this time" she replied. "I do have to admit that one of Takato's best traits would have to be his loyalty to his friends. He's always there for them and he's always been there for me. But I don't know…"

Then you, you came into my life

Without any reason why.

You walked into my life.

I looked into your eyes, and I almost died inside.

`Why don't we take it from the beginning'

"What? Why?"

`It'll better help you sort out your feelings for him'

"Okay, fine." She grumbled. "I still remember the day we first met like it was yesterday. I was talking to Renamon about it earlier. He told me that Digimon are meant to be our friends and not tools, after Renamon attacked Dino-Boy."

`Well, what else?'

"It was after Renamon first digivovled to Kyuubimon, that I started to realize what he said"

`And?'

"Okay, so I started to realize what he meant by his words, but I didn't fully grasp the concept of what he meant"

`Why is that?'

"I'm not really sure of it myself. I guess it was because I still had that Ice Queen attitude of `I'm going to kick your ass no matter what'. But it was after the IceDevimon incident, when Takato and Guilmon saved me from him, that I fully grasped the concept of what Goggle-Head told me. I was miserable without Renamon, and I realized that I needed her as much as she needed me."

I dialed the phone, but your never home.

I can't help but feel so lost and alone.

Now you're saying goodbye, and I don't know why.

It can't be too late, we didn't even try.

`Go on'

"Well, during the time when the Devas first showed up, I was afraid. I was afraid that I would lose Renamon after Mihiramon defeated her. I thought that if Kyuubimon was defeated, there was no way that the others could defeat him. But Takato, he didn't give up. After learning that he could feel his partner's pain, he wouldn't give in. And that's what impressed me about him. Takato, the one person who I have seen to be a wimp. The one person I've seen as a crybaby. He wouldn't give up and because of that, he was able to make his Digimon digivovle again. If it wasn't for him and Dino-Boy, I doubt any of us would be alive now."

`Hmmm…'

"What is it?"

`Nothing, keep going.'

"Okay. When Indaramon showed up, he was one of the toughest Devas we faced. All three of us Tamers combined couldn't defeat him. But leave it to Goggle-Head to save the day as usual.

`But he didn't do it himself. If it wasn't for Kazu's homemade blue card, who knows what would have happened.'

"The point is, it was his friendship with Kazu that helped him defeat Indaramon."

`Good point.'

"And during the rampage of the boar Deva, Vikaralamon, I was worried for him. I mean it looked like he lost it after watching how he was yelling at WarGrowlmon. Come to find out, he was just trying to give his support to Dino-Boy, giving him strength in the process. That, I'd have to admit, was incredible to watch."

`Heh, yeah. I thought he was losing it as well at that time. Now go on.'

Then you, you came into my life

Without any reason why.

You walked into my life.

I looked into your eyes, and I almost died inside.

"I guess when I realized that I, well, really liked him was when we went to the Digital World. I kept worrying about him, especially after we were separated from him, Einstein, and that annoying bunny."

`Heh, and why would that be? Hmmm' the voice said, sounding like it was smirking a bit.

Blushing a bit, "Like I said I was really worried about him. But I don't know, he really didn't seem to be concerned about me that much."

`Honey, if he didn't care about you, then why would he have sent that e-mail to your family saying that you were safe'

"Well, I was glad he did that, but did that idiot have to put those stupid hearts on the message."

`So what? At least he did do something nice for you. I do have to admit that look on his face was priceless, when you started to argue with him' the voice said, giggling a bit.'

"Whatever."

`C'mon, I know there's more. So spill it'

"You know, you're really starting to annoy me"

`Hehehe, I know. Now spill it'

"Stupid voice" she muttered. She could hear that voice snickering in her head. "You know, I would strangle you if you were real." Rika threatened.

Still snickering `Heh, too bad for you. Now, c'mon, go on.' the voice replied.

I was a fool, to ever love you.

I couldn't see, that you would never loved me.

"Okay, I admit that I thought I had a chance with Takato when he complemented me on my new shirt. I really thought Takato liked me the way I liked him" she then sighed. "But I felt my heart shatter when I saw how he reacted to Jeri being captured by the D-Reaper. He didn't seem to care about anything else, but saving Jeri." she said, not noticing a tear flowing down her cheek.

`You can't blame him for that. You would be the same way if you were in his shoes.'

"Well, okay, you do have a point there, but he would never care for me like he does with Jeri." she said trying to hold in her tears.

Then you, you came into my life

Without any reason why.

You walked into my life.

`Quit kidding yourself, he has showed his concern for you many times. What about IceDevimon huh, or when the Ark was going to leave without you, or the time that Parisimon invaded Shinjuku. Did you forget about that?'

Wiping away a tear "Yeah, but, he would have done the same if it was any one of his friends." Rika replied.

`Hmph. I think I'll take me leave now and leave you to your thoughts alone.'

"What? But I still need your help."

`Trust me, the answers lie within you. If you really love this boy, go and tell him that. Just maybe, he might return your feelings'

"You really think so?"

`Honey, please, I know so. Now go, go and find him.' the voice replied.

Then you, you came into my life

You walked into my life.

After having that conversation with her, well, with her heart I should say. Rika decided to go looking for our goggle-headed tamer in the one place you can always find him, in Shinjuku Park. She looked around for him, ending up at Guilmon's shed, only to find Guilmon in his home playing with Calumon.

"Hey Rika, whatcha doing here? Huh, huh, huh?" the hyperactive Digimon asked.

"Oh, hey Calumon, do the two of you know where Takato is?"

"I think Takatomon should be coming by soon, Rika. He's supposed to be dropping off my bread." said Guilmon.

And on cue, Takato comes walking into Guilmon's shed carrying two grocery bags full of day-old bread.

"Yay, Takato's here. Ooh, goodies!" Calumon said, while diving into one of the bags.

Laughing, "Calumon, the bread's not going anywhere so slow down." Takato said.

"Hello Goggle-Head" Rika said.

"Huh? Ack!" jumping back a bit. "Oh sorry Rika, I guess I didn't notice you on my way in. So what are you doing here?" he asked.

"I came here to talk to you. Can we go somewhere private?"

"Uh, sure." he replied. "Here Guilmon." passing the two bags full of bread to Guilmon. "Okay, let's go."

Somewhere in Shinjuku Park.

"So what did you want to talk about Rika?" Takato asked.

"I just wanted to ask you what you think of Jeri."

"Huh? Why?"

"You do love her don't you?"

"Well, the last time I tried talking to her about Guilmon's digivolution to Growlmon, she said she didn't like me that way. Well, that puppet of hers said it for her. And the last time I confessed my feelings to her, it was actually her D-Reaper clone. But now, I just don't know how I feel about her. Why do you ask?

"Oh, nothing. It's just that I have been having these feelings lately." Rika replied.

"Huh? Feelings about what? What is this about Rika?" our naïve goggle-head asked.

"Um, well…" starting to blush. "Let me show you" she said grabbing Takato.

Then you, then you, then you

Then you, then you, then you. . .

`What the?' was the first thing Takato thought. `Is she doing what I think she's doing?'

Yes, our favorite goggle-headed tamer, well, the only goggle-headed tamer, was just pulled into a passionate kiss by the Digimon Queen. For several minutes, the two were kissing like there was no tomorrow.

`Whoa!' Takato thought, as the two broke apart.

Blushing furiously "So, what do you think, Goggle-Head."

"I, I, I…" Takato started to stutter not knowing what to say.

"C'mon Goggle-Head say something" she said starting to lose her patience.

Takato was thinking. `She just kissed me. WOW! I got to admit, that was amazing. But do I love her?' he thought for a moment. `Yes, yes I do love her.' Then he said it. "I love you Rika, my queen." Takato replied.

Smiling "I love you too my knight" she giggled a bit, pulling him into another passionate kiss.

Stallyns: So what did you guys think?

Lucemon: Ehhhhhh.

Stallyns: What?

Lucemon: It was pretty decent but a bit on the corny side and it felt rushed right at the end.

Terriermon: It was a piece of crap like your first fic.

Stallyns: Shut your pie-hole rabbit!

Terriermon: Hey, I'm a dog not a rabbit.

Stallyns: FINE! If you don't shut up, I'll send you to the Philippines where they eat dog.

Terriermon: **Backing away** Okay, okay, momentai already.

Rika: I thought it was too sappy.

Takato: Hey, I thought it was okay. Besides, as long as I'm with my Queen, I'm happy.

Ryo: Hey! Rika's mine!

Everybody: SHUT UP!

Ryo: Make me! **Blows a raspberry to everyone**

Stallyns: That can be done. Lucemon, you ready partner?

Lucemon: Yeah.

Stallyns: Right. BIOMERGE ACTIVATE!

Lucemon: Lucemon biomerge to…Seraphimon!

Stallyns & Lucemon: Time to die Ryo.

Ryo: Hey! You can't kill me, you're supposed to be an angel.

Lucemon: Like I care!

Ryo: Eep! **Runs away**

Stallyns: Hehehe, that takes care of him, for now.

Note: I do not hate Ryo, I just like to make fun of him because it's funny. Also, Lucemon is the most powerful rookie Digimon around. No, I didn't choose him to be my partner because of that. I have a preference towards Angel Digimon, since the Angel Digimon happens to be among my favorites, and Lucemon is the only Angel rookie Digimon. It is a fact that Lucemon can digivolve to Angemon, so he should be able to digivolve to Seraphimon. I've given Lucemon the combined personalities of both Renamon and Terriermon. He has Renamon's seriousness and a bit of Terriermon's sense of humor.
