Trunks began to back away. "Bullshit!"
"And don't think we'll be too supportive this time." Ultramagnus laughed.
"Is that what you brought us here for?" Heero bellowed. "To destroy us?!"
Ultramagnus stopped. "Hey, Ultimanium... was that what I was here fo.."
Ultimanium shook his head. "No."
"Damn it, Ultimanium, don't go into another of your philisophical rants again! I've had about enough of your reasoning!"
Ultramagnus turned to the group. "All of you versus me!!"
Davis fell to the ground laughing.
"What's so damn funny?!"
Davis pushed himself up and brushed himself off. "If you haven't noticed yet, Quaterisipalimon has more HP than you."
"Neo Crusher!!" Ultramagnus yelled.
Within the period of a milisecond, a beam of energy tore down from the sky and tore through Quaterisipalimon's right arm.
Quaterisipalimon, being a robot and all, couldn't be crippled by pain, but loss of an arm didn't necessarily do wonders for its coordination.
"Geez!" Quaterisipalimon shouted, as its other arm shook violently.
Quaterisipalimon -2657 HP
"Let's see if supergravity changes that!!" Ultramagnus laughed.
"A supergravity field..." Trunks sighed.
"Neo Crusher!!"
The same beam blared down on Trunks. However, this time the damage wasn't all appalling.
Trunks -3 HP
Trunks grinned. "You care to know how much time I spend in gravity machines?"
Ultramagnus froze. Being to stupid to think of a comeback, he yelled and charged at Trunks.
Wargreymon plodded up to Davis. "Davis!"
Davis turned and looked up. "What?"
"We've got some people who are pissed off at our friend Ultimanium here."
Behind him sat Quaterisipalimon, Slyphmon, Gohan, Krillin, the Wing Zero, Mimi, Tai and Squall.
"Tai?" Davis asked. "What are you doing out here?"
Tai grinned. "Your sword isn't so cool anymore," He held up the dual Ultima Weapon blades. "Mind if I join in? Like, revenge and all."
Krillin clenched his fists. "We've been cheated and humilated in front of an audience! If I knew this was the true purpose of the Ultimatum, I wouldn'tve come!"
Ultimanium shook his head furiously. "N..no! That's not the true purpose of the Ultimatum! You don't understand...!"
"I'm up for some tag-teaming," Heero said down to the crowd. "Who's with me?"
Trunks dodged another blow from Ultramagnus. Though Ultramagnus was much tougher than Trunks, Trunks was able to dodge attacks from him. He wouldn't be able to keep it up though, and he knew he would need some intervention on another team's part.
Trunks and Ultramagnus nailed eachother in the face with fists at the same time.
Ultramagnus -240 HP
Trunks -234 HP
Ultramagnus backflipped back to the foot of the stage, and wiped a trail of blood off of his face. "Ultimanium, you bitch! Get down here!!"
Ultimanium stood at the end of the stage, looking out upon the crowd. While no one in the arena could get a good look at his face, it was clear to Ultramagnus. It was one of fear.
"Just attack already!!" Ultramagnus barked.
Ultimanium shook his head, trying to think clearly. No. I can't. That's not my purpose.
"Forget it! I'll do it myself!! KAAAAAAAAMMMEEEEE......"
"He's going for it again!" Gohan yelled. "Me and Krillin'll stop the attack, you guys work him!"
Everybody nodded in agreement.
"I think I'll be able to deflect an energy blast as well," Wargreymon said. "I'll stay back too."
"HHAAAAAMMMEEEEE...."
"Everybody ready then?" Davis shouted. "We're not going to get another chance at this!"
"HAAAA!!"
Again, 8 blasts surged out through Ultramagnus' hands and winded their way toward the group. The Wing Zero, Tai, Davis, Slyphmon and Quaterisipalimon banked off from the group and ran along the sides of the arena toward Ultramagnus. Gohan deflected two blasts, as did Trunks. Krillin got one. Wargreymon swung his shield in front of him and neutralized another.
Ultramagnus threw his hands asides from him and redirected the remaining blasts.
Tai and Davis were beginning to close on Ultramagnus from opposite sides.
Tai heard the all-too-familiar scree and hum of the Renzokamehameha and whipped around to stare and energy blast screaming straight toward him.
"No way!" Tai screamed. In an act of impulse, Tai swung the blades across his face and the deflected the Kamehamehas through the celing.
Ultramagnus was stunned. "How...!"
Davis dove and slashed at the preoccupied Ultramagnus, cutting a massive rift in the side of his torso.
"Yaaauugghhhh!!!..."
Ultramagnus -230 HP
He turned and grabbed the collar of Davis' jacket. "Stupid little shit! You're going nowhere!!"
Ultramagnus was ready to give Davis a beating when Tai lunged out of nowhere and cross-slashed him across the back with the Ultima Weapons. Davis dropped to the ground and backed off.
Ultramagnus -330 HP
"Dead or Alive!!"
Another 10 chainguns flew up out of nowhere and started firing.
"Where the hell did we get all these guns?" Quaterisipalimon yelled.
The Wing Zero detatched the Buster Rifle Mk.II from its arm, the cannon hitting the ground with a smash. With its free hand, it rocketed forward and picked up the loose energy scythe from the Deathscythe that was still on the ground.
Ultramagnus dodged to the side, narrowly missing being vaporized by Quaterisipalimon's energy blade coming down on him. "Ultimanium!! What are you waiting for?!"
Ultimanium shivered. "I ... I thought I could handle it... but... "
Gohan, Trunks and Krillin all shot out from their defensive positions and launched a flurry of punches at the already occupied Ultramagnus. While he was able to dodge most of them, the element of surprise finally got the better of him as a dozen quick blows to his head sent him flying back.
Ultramagnus -534 HP
"ULTIMANIUM!!"
Ultimanium trembled. ".. they're.... not ... I won't... kill them..."
A wave of shells flew out of subspace and clipped Ultramagnus' shoulders.
Ultramagnus -134 HP
"Terra Force!!"
A massive fireball sailed out of the sky and landed on Ultramagnus' head.

Ultramagnus limped out of the crater Terra Force left behind. Everybody stood ready.
"I don't believe this," Ultramagnus sighed. "How could he betray me like this?"
Ultimanium stepped forward. "No, Ultramagnus. It's not supposed to be like this. This isn't the purpose! We're not here to fight! It's much more complicated than that.."
"Can it!" Ultramagnus yelled. "This was a stupid plan from the start! I have no idea what the 'purpose' of bringing everyone here was! Especially the Dakari! That just FREAKS ME OUT!!"
Everybody in the audience oooohed.
Tai turned to Davis. "Hey, do you know what a Dakari is?"
Davis shrugged. "Beats me. I heard Kari though."
Tai slapped himself in the forehead.
"You can do what you want with the survivors!!" Ultramagnus said. "Until then, I unveil my wrath!!"
Ultramagnus lunged at Davis.
Davis froze. "Why do I NOT like this..."
"SPIRIT SURGE!!!"
A massive blue beam of light tore straight forward and enveloped Ultramagnus.
Ultramagnus -865 HP
"SHADOW SURGE!!!"
Another beam shot forward, even larger, black, and laced with purple lightning.
Ultramagnus -900 HP
"What's going on?!" Tai yelled.
Everybody remained still as the dust ahead of the group cleared. Ahead of them stood a near-dead Ultramagnus. He didn't look ... well.. good.
"Eeeewwww!!" Mimi winced. "His arm got blown off!!"
Ultramagnus dropped to the ground. "I ... can't believe this! What did I do for this?!"
Everybody looked up to the stage. Ultimanium's finger was outstretched and still crackling with energy. "Ultramagnus. You do not understand the tranquil struggle that is associated with my crusade. I'm afraid you're just not the right partner for me. Until you can learn to put aside your warrior ways and find your way to the Light - and fight only when truly necessary, you cannot pose a threat to me. You end here.
"Now... my last attacks... unleashed when one side of equilibrium upsets the other... when they are perfectly equal... that will be the eliminator of anything upsetting either end of the scale."
"...I don't think I'm going to like this." Cloud sighed.

The lasers of the Spirit Surge and Shadow Surge coiled with each other and shot down at the incapacitated Ultramagnus.
"Thank you, friends. You have fulfilled my mission. Without you, I'm not sure... it would be possible."
The laser impacted.
Ultramagnus was blinded.
Davis and Tai were blinded.
Everyone else in the arena was blinded.
Everybody in Manhattan was blinded.
Aw, damn it, everybody in a five-state radius was blinded.
And at the epicentre...
