Chapter Five: Cetra?

Everyone turned their heads at Seshin's warning. A beautiful long haired woman floated up and landed on the Lookout. She was carrying a limp green Namek in her arms.

"Dende!" Piccolo screamed as he ran over there.

The pretty young lady set him down. Her butter-scotch hair touched the ground. "I'm an impressive healer, but he is too damaged for even my talents!" She said.

Piccolo ran to the young Namek. The rest of the Z warriors gathered around. Seshin faced the new woman.

"What's your name?" He inquired.

"Aeris. I'm not from this dimension." She said.

"What?" Aukai asked.

"I lived on Earth, but I sacrificed my life to save the world. I woke up and I was here." She said.

"How'd you die?" Seshin asked.

"I was impaled by a man named Sephiroth."

"Yes, Sephiroth. Such a good man, but just a little too insane!" Gyakou said. He had been hovering above them and no one had been able to sense his energy.

"GYAKOU!?" Aeris yelled.

"You know him!?" Vegeta snapped.

"He died thousands of years ago, he was the leader of the Cetra warriors." Aeris said.

"Yes, and whenever a Cetra dies, they wake up here. Most die rather quickly, because the don' have extremely long lives in this dimension. Sephiroth was killed by Vegeta when he attacked the stadium while under the influence of Babidi. However, he was resurrected by you all with the DragonBalls. Then, during Super Saiyan 3 Goku's fight with Fat Majin Buu, Sephiroth was once again killed by Buu's misplaced Kamehameha Wave. So it seems me and you are the only living Cetra!" Gyakou said.

"You're a Cetra!?" Goku said.

Aeris nodded. "Only half. Not ALL Cetra are evil you know!"

Seshin faced Gyakou. "What do you want here!?"

"Well, I came to finish off the guardian, but while I'm here…" Gyakou smiled. "I think I'll finish off my competition too!"

Gyakou pointed his finger and fired two concentrated energy beams at Aeris and Dende. They were so quick, only Piccolo had time to react. He jumped in the way of the beam and it exploded on his back. Aeris was disintegrated by the beam. Gyakou laughed and disappeared. Piccolo groaned as he was near death.

"Aeris!" Seshin yelled.

Korin gave Piccolo and Dende a Senzu Bean. Piccolo healed just fine but it seemed to have no effect on Dende.

"Give him another!" Piccolo demanded.

"It won't work!" Vegeta said. "His injuries are too severe."

"He can't die!" Piccolo said. "He's already been revived once before!"

"Piccolo…" Dende wheezed.

"Yes, Dende?" Piccolo asked.

"I'm going to die…" Dende whispered.

"NO!" Piccolo said. "You can't!"

"I want to aid you. Piccolo, lets fuse." Dende breathed.

Everyone backed up as an eerie green aura surrounded Piccolo and Dende. Dende lay on the Lookout's floor on his back. Piccolo was kneeling over him with his hand on Dende's chest. There was a bright flash and everyone covered their eyes. When the light dissipated, only Piccolo was there. Piccolo turned toward the rest, everyone could tell his power level had risen dramatically. Seshin, Bra, Marron, Pan, and Aukai turned toward the smoldering crater that used to be a young beautiful butter-scotch haired woman. Seshin punched the ground, causing it to crack.

"Damn!" Seshin said. "There was so much more we could have learned from her!!!"

Bra grabbed his shoulder, sympathetically. "It's okay, Seshin."

Suddenly, Seshin's eyes opened wide. "I've got an idea!"

Seshin pulled a controller out of his pant's pocket. Surprisingly, it was still intact from the battle with Aukai. He pressed the single button on the controller. Everyone turned and looked at Seshin in confusion. Soon, a Saiyan Space Pod landed on the Lookout. Seshin ran to it and opened it. With a burst of bright white energy, Seshin's clothes were restored on his body. Seshin then leaned in and began to rummage through the contents.

"Seshin, what are you doing!?" Marron asked.

"We couldn't sense his energy!" Seshin said excitedly.

He pulled out his Scouter and a small metal box. It would fit in his jacket's shirt pocket. He opened it up and produced several small tools. He sat down cross legged and began to configure his Scouter. Bulma looked at him, interested.

"Wow! He has real scientific aptitude!" Bulma thought.

Seshin slapped his Scouter on his face. He then turned and put on an odd looking bracelet.

"What's that?" Bulma asked, curious.

"A Power Resistor." Seshin said. "It makes my energy signal impossible to read. However, I can't preform energy attacks and my strength decrease dramitacally."

"What are you doing!?" Yamcha asked.

Seshin smiled and leaped off of the Lookout and his Space Pod flew into the air and it flew off as well.

"What is he up too!?" Bra asked.

"GOKU!" Piccolo bellowed. "Guru is alive!"

"WHAT!?" Everyone said.

"Yes!" Piccolo said. "He survived the attack on Namek! Somehow he did!"

"How do you know?" Krillin asked.

"Dende hid him on the Lookout. When we fused, I became aware of this fact!" Piccolo said.

"So!?" Goku said. "What's the big deal?"

"He's about to die!" Piccolo said. "We must go see him, NOW!"

Bra pinched the bridge of her nose, a bad habit she learned from her father. It was going to be a long, long day.
