Chapter Nine: The Android Battle

Gyakou was preparing to blast Gohan, but, out of the corner of his eye, he saw the Androids walk out of the building. Gyakou dismissed Gohan, and turned toward Seventeen and Eighteen. The androids stopped, their expressions solemn.

"I guess you have come to stop me." Gyakou said. "Your power level is absent, I can't sense it."

Seventeen smiled. "Maybe you are just inferior, compared to us."

Gyakou grinned. "Maybe."

"Let's just get this over with." Eighteen tucked a lock of hair behind her ear.

Gyakou nodded. Eighteen and Seventeen disappeared. Gyakou was surprised that he still could not sense their energy. Eighteen appeared behind him, and Seventeen appeared high in the air above him. Eighteen flew at Gyakou's back and Seventeen fired an energy blast down at Gyakou. Gyakou threw his elbow back and struck Eighteen in the face, then he held up his hand and caught Seventeen's blast. Gyakou squeezed and the blast dissipated. Gyakou smiled slightly.

"I understand." Gyakou said. "I think you are part of Gero's experiments."

"Maybe." Eighteen said.

"I just have one thing to say, before we fight." Seventeen said. "Chili cheese burger diets do NOT work!"

Seventeen flew at Gyakou again, but Gyakou held his ground. Eighteen appeared behind Gyakou and grabbed him. Gyakou flew into the air, dragging Eighteen up with him. Seventeen fired an energy blast at Gyakou. He turned and the blast struck Eighteen instead.

"NO!!!" Seventeen yelled. "Sister!"

Gyakou fired an energy blast and in landed in-between Seventeen and Eighteen. Seventeen flew back from the explosion. The Outlook's floor was undamaged.

"Oops, did I hurt you?" Gyakou laughed.

Seventeen and Eighteen stood up. "We have to make a final attack while he's still playing with us!" Eighteen muttered.

Gyakou smiled, and as the Androids flew at him, he gathered a massive amount of electrical energy. He fired it at them, and once it struck them, they short circuited. They fell to the ground, lifeless. Gyakou laughed wickedly.

Gohan struggled to his feet. He was behind Gyakou, so the Android could not see him. Gohan summoned up all of his energy, but kept it concealed. He knew he only had one chance to perform a surprise attack on Gyakou. A chance to do so damage, since Chao-zu was the only one who seemed able to do even that.

`Get it together, Gohan!' Gohan thought. `I am a Mystic! I'm a warrior who has been trained by the Supreme Kai!!! I must catch him off guard!'

Mystic Gohan cupped his hands at his side. "KaaaaaMeeeeeHaaaaaMeeeee…" Gohan chanted silently.

Gyakou survived the ground in front of him. He could see no opposition, and he was getting rather bored. As he hovered in the air, thinking out his next move, he heard a terribly loud shout.

"HAAAAA!!!" Gohan yelled and fired a Super Kamehameha Wave.

The blue beam struck Gyakou in the back, disintegrating a large portion of the back of his cloak. It exploded and Android # 0 was thrown to the floor. A small smile appeared on Gohan face.

`I did it!!!" Gohan thought. `And I didn't use Dad's help!!!'

Gyakou walked out of the smoke, anger distorting his facial expressions. He faced Gohan. Gohan's heart sank, his hopes gone.

"How dare you!" Gyakou growled. "I was going to let you live, too!" Gyakou flew at Gohan and grabbed him by the throat. He began squeezing very hard. Gohan gasped for air.

"Now I bet you wish you had stayed out of my way!" Gyakou whispered menacingly. "Say hello to Three Eyes for me!"

Gyakou placed his palm on Gohan's chest.
