Chapter 1
It was a quiet, peaceful day.
"WHAT?!"
Well maybe not that quiet. The shouting voice belonged to a 13 yr old that had red hair that defied the laws of gravity and swept upward reminding people of a flame. Her eyes were the darkest shade of black, and she was of very short height.
"You heard me monkey girl." The second voice belonged to a 14 yr old girl with the brightest white hair that at the tips was a medium dark black. Perched up on top of her hair were black wolf ears. For her eyes, they were a fiery amber reminding people of the sun. She also had bulky black wings that you would see on a dragon. She was of medium height.
"Shut up gargoyle breath!"
"You're the one to talk."
"Actually yes I am, man you need to return to the dark ages, stinky."
"Why you little…"
"Enough Kaura, Saikida, be quiet." A teen around the age of 17 silenced the argument sharply. She had long silver hair and piercing green eyes that were made of different green shades. She was pretty tall for her age and was clearly annoyed at her younger sister and her friend.
"Crystal's right, enough is enough." A girl sitting by the older teen was the same age as Kaura with catlike features. She had catlike red eyes, and dark black hair with the brightest natural gold designs. She was also tall for her age. Like Crystal, she felt that her two friends were overbearing at times. Kaura clenched her fists angrily at Saikida and snarled.
"You better be happy that Nemesis and Crystal are on your side, otherwise you'd be eating dirt." Saikida smirked at that comment and flashed a victory sign.
"With how slow you are, I'm sure I'd be eating dinner by the time you reach me," the younger teen replied, "Anyways you'd be eating my dust if you tried to catch me."
"We'll see about that." Kaura charged the younger teen and tried to punch her. However Saikida moved to the side and tripped the enraged teen and made her land in a pile of mud facedown.
"You see, that pose fits you. You lying face down in mud groveling at my feet like the low class scum you are." Saikida sneered and walked over to a tree and leaned on it with her arms crossed. Kaura rose up quickly, her face red with rage and embarrassment.
"Just wait Saikida, I'll make you beg for your life and enjoy every second." She growled before storming to an opposite tree and sitting down. The rest of the group sighed in relief.
"Now that's over with, why did you summon us Ceoan?" Crystal asked a 14 yr old male with light chestnut brown hair and eyes, nothing seemed abnormal with his physical features but he carried a brown and green jewel that he had ever since he was found and adopted. Ceoan was tall for his age group also.
"I found this weird cave, with ancient symbols written all over the walls. I'm thinking it might have something to do with one of us."
"You made me skip school for that? Now that is a waste of one of our absence days." A male also around the age of 14 was seated on a haystack. He had black hair with some streaks of blue through it. He also had bright blue eyes and was around the same height as Kaura. Although he also had no abnormal physical features, he could control the power of ice.
"Shut up Dante! Don't you ever use your imagination, that cave could lead us to find our parents." Nemesis shouted eagerly and looked back at Ceoan, "So where is this cave located anyways?"
"By Crystal Cove, it isn't far." Ceoan replied pointing his finger west.
"What do you mean it isn't far?! That takes two hours to get there on the highway." Dante yelled and waved his hands around angrily.
"Who said we would be taking the highway? I say we fly there." Kaura remarked with her eyes glittering with excitement.
"Kaura, only you and Saikida can fly, the rest of us don't have that ability." Crystal pointed out, ignoring the glare from the teen. "We have to think of some other way."
"Take the back roads, nobody should be out on those roads yet." Saikida suggested from her position, frowning at the group.
"Great idea Saikida. We should be able to get there in no time." Nemesis replied smiling widely.
"Yes great idea Saikida," Kaura sneered at the other teen, "Except for one small problem, none of us have licenses."
"Actually I just got mine yesterday." Crystal remarked angrily at the teen, flashing her license, "So that's no longer a small problem." Kaura flapped her wings angrily but remained quiet.
"Well, do we have a car that could carry all of us?" Dante asked freezing small leaves in boredom.
"Not really, there is one that'll fit 4, other than that no." Crystal replied back with a frown.
"Then have Kaura and me fly, while the rest hitch a ride." Saikida responded.
The group nodded eagerly, and together the group took off to Crystal Cove.
* * *
When they reached the cove, it was completely empty except for the common stray animal. The clear blue waters washed up mostly clams onto the white sandy beach. Kaura was walking next to Saikida and smiled cruelly.
"Well, at least there isn't anybody here. Then we would have a slight problem."
Saikida ignored her and looked at the waters that rolled out in front of her. Kaura looked at the girl next to her.
"How come you won't talk to me? I'm not that mean, am I?"
"I wouldn't want to waste my breath on weak scum like you. Other than that, nothing's wrong with you." Saikida sneered and walked off to join the others in front leaving Kaura steaming.
"I'll show you weak scum."
Meanwhile Crystal and Nemesis were talking quietly amongst themselves.
"I can't believe how much in common Kaura and Saikida are, yet those two hate each other's guts." Nemesis whispered watching Saikida stride proudly off leaving Kaura.
"What do you expect? My sister is too full of herself to make any friendships last. I think the closest she ever got to a friendship was a temporary agreement." Crystal whispered back. "She needs to mellow out a little before anyone would become her friend."
Before Nemesis could reply, Ceoan stopped at a very small entrance.
"That's way too small, we'd be down on our bellies sliding through." Dante groaned freezing another rock.
"Will you cut that out? Anybody who knows about your powers could pick up a trail of ice and find us." Nemesis pointed out angrily at the other teen.
"Humph, and they wouldn't find our footprints though, right Nemesis?" Dante sneered at the fuming teen.
"Do all of us a favor Dante and shut up." Kaura remarked and looked through the small entrance, "So, who's going first?" A brief moment of silence passed by before Saikida rejoined the group.
"I'll go." She replied and with that crawled in there on all fours. She left the group again, disappearing within the darkness.
"Well if it has something to do with our heritage, nothing can be discovered waiting here." Nemesis soon followed Saikida and disappeared also.
"Whatever dark secrets that lie beyond this door must be revealed before stopped." Crystal also followed the other teens.
"I'm not missing out on a way to prove myself to the others." Ceoan commented before he too followed and disappeared.
The only ones left looked at each other and shrugged.
"Might as well, got nothing better to do." Dante then entered the black abyss followed by Kaura. A pale golden light filled the eerie room. There they met up with the others who were examining the walls filled with glowing symbols.
"Whoa, that's wicked. There are so many symbols. Can anyone understand them?" Dante turned to his fellow companions and asked.
"I can." Saikida stated flatly looking at one symbol in particular. "It says here, that a race known as the saiyans passed through this tunnel quite often to maintain peace." Saikida pointed at one symbol that had a golden aura surrounding it, "The legendary was the highest class, while royalty was second."
"These symbols must mean the different classes of the saiyans then." Nemesis pointed out looking at the symbols curiously. "Look this must be a map of some sort."
The rest of the group joined Nemesis at the area of the wall.
"Saikida, can you read this?" Crystal asked the younger teen.
"These are different passageways to different dimension entry ways."
"Well, in that case we should split up and explore." Ceoan suggested and was already gone.
"I agree, it would be better if we did split up, we could cover much ground in a short period of time." Crystal stated before she and the rest of the group went in different directions. The only ones still in the first passage way was Saikida and Kaura.
"Can you tell me which way should I go?" Kaura asked.
"If anything, go into the tunnel by the symbol of a crescent, it has something to do with demons." Saikida answered before heading to another wall. Kaura nodded and walked off deeper into the darkness.
* * *
Crystal and the others soon returned back to the first hall.
"Find anything else out, Saikida?"
Saikida looked away from the wall and nodded.
"The question is, did any of you find something out?" Saikida remarked.
"I found out that the cave was much larger than expected." Dante stated. "Also that much of the language was in those symbols."
"That's because the saiyans constructed the cave to pass through the different worlds to defeat an enemy. The enemy was a race called the Melken; they wanted to enslave the different dimensions for their personal enjoyment. The saiyans then created an alliance with the different warriors of the dimensions and fought against them. They did succeed, and placed a magical seal to hold them. This cave was hidden from all eyes and also sealed for there was a chance that the Melken could escape." Saikida explained while touching one symbol.
"If it was sealed, then how come we could enter this?" Kaura asked quietly.
"There are two theories to that," Saikida turned to face her ally, "Either we just discovered it by accident, or the Melken could of escaped."
Silence filled the room as the group stared at each other uneasily. The symbols continued to glow despite the growing shadow inside the cave.
"This is bad, very, very bad." Dante replied uneasily.
"What happened during the battle?" Ceoan asked Saikida. "To the different dimensions at the time?"
"Those who couldn't fight were often put into slavery under harsh conditions, other then that nothing else was mentioned." Saikida replied.
"So now, we have a starting of the apocalypse on our hands." Crystal added, her green eyes narrowed in frustration, "And we can't even stop it, let alone fight it."
"There is a way. But that would mean we stay in this cave a little bit longer." Saikida said, "It is possible that we travel through the dimensions and warn whoever is a warrior. They should know about this."
"Are you crazy?! What about our parents, they'll skin us after we return." Dante screamed angrily.
"Fool, that's why we do this now," Saikida snorted, "If any of you are afraid you can stay back. But I'm going, nothing is worse then having ugly freaks putting you into slavery."
"I'm going too, Saikida, even though were going to be in a lot of trouble when we get home." Crystal smiled and moved next to her younger sister.
"You're not going without me." Nemesis walked over and placed a hand on Saikida's shoulder, "Somebody who's still sane should be in this group."
All eyes rested on the three remaining where they stood.
"I trust you Saikida, that you spoke the truth, I'll be on your side." Ceoan smiled and walked over to the group.
"You and me might not get along but I feel that we should kick those Melken freaks into the sky." Kaura stated and moved next to the younger teen and flapped her wings eagerly. Then all eyes rested on Dante that was muttering to himself.
"Although, we'll be in so much trouble by our parents, I'd rather have them mad at us in freedom, then in slavery. I'm in." With that Dante walked over to the group and smiled.
"Now with that settled, how do we enter the different dimensions?" Crystal asked.
"Easy, follow me." Saikida then sprinted toward a hill like opening and pressed her hand to the thick surface.
"Hey, you guys. I'm starting to feel funny." Nemesis replied and soon the rest of the group also was engulfed in a bright white light. They disappeared leaving the cave to the waters.
* * *
Saikida awoke and looked at her unknown surroundings. There was fire everywhere, and the ground itself was burnt. Huge volcanoes erupted with lava making the air filled with smoke. She also saw creatures with shirts that said HFIL across the front.
"Ugh, my head." She stood up and looked at her fallen comrades. "Well at least I'm awake."
"Saikida, you there?" Saikida turned quickly to see Kaura there.
"Well, what does it look like?" Saikida snapped sharply at Kaura.
"Listen, let's make a treaty. I hate those Melkens as much as you do and we are fighting for a common cause, so let's agree to get along."
"Fine but... quiet, listen! Saikida hushed her awaken companion as soon as she heard talking.
"Those stupid monkeys, I wish I could shoot them out of the sky." Saikida exchanged a glance at Kaura.
"Fine, I'm going." Kaura got up and walked towards the large group.
"What do you want brat?" a green man with a deep voice demanded at Kaura.
"Could you tell me what this place is?" Kaura said politely as she could ignoring the snicker Saikida let out behind the rock.
"Oh look Cell, that little girl is so cute, maybe you should tell her where she is." Frieza commented sarcastically at the green android.
"You brat, are in HFIL where all the people with "bad" souls remain after they die." Cell explained.
"Okay, thanks bye." Kaura waved and walked away back behind the rock. Saikida let out a giggle.
"Please mister can you tell me what this place is? Oh thank you," Saikida barely could speak as she was rolling on the ground laughing.
"Hey, if you're as cute as I am, you have to act nice and innocent." Kaura stated trying to hide a smile.
"Then how come gargoyle statues don't look innocent?" Saikida asked with a smirk on her face.
"Shut up!" Kaura narrowed her eyes at Saikida. "So what do we do now?"
"Easy, you are going to ask those guys if we could speak with someone in charge, then I'll go and talk to him about the coming danger."
"Noooooooooo! I don't want to talk to them again, come on Saikida. Please can I just go look for whoever we need to warn?"
Saikida looked at the vast area around them, and then looked back at Kaura, "Do you really think you can find him in this large of a place? Without any sense of where you're going? I don't think so."
"Fine, I'm going, just make sure that I don't die." With that Kaura once again found Cell and Frieza, and the rest of their gang.
"Brat, why do you bother us with your presence?" Cell asked, clearly annoyed. Kaura opened her mouth to ask a question when Saikida came running up to her.
"Why are you here Saikida, don't think I could remember the question?" Kaura asked irritably ignoring the shocked faces of the villains.
"I don't think you could but that beside the point," Saikida replied and looked back where she came from. "It's a little too late to prepare everyone, because they must have followed us."
"What?"
"The Melken they're coming."
Kaura and Saikida exchanged each other uneasy looks.
{A/N: Well that's the end of Chapter I, hope you enjoyed it. As you may all know now, they are in the DBZ dimension now. Watch for Chapter II.}
