Chapter 10- What happens now?

 

 

How wrong she was. Not only was this not a rumor, but it lasted for five months...Still Going!!!!! Yamcha and Chichi would never be a couple, and boy, did Yamcha try and make that clear! Chichi became popular, no, famous around the school, but not in the ways she wanted to be popular. Everyone knew her name and even some guys asked her out. Of course her answer was always the same, “Bite me!” She wouldn't go out with a guy even if her life depended on it. “Having a boyfriend and going out is just heartbreak, just waiting to happen.” She always told her friends wisely. No one was going to take her out and become her boyfriend until she was around sixteen maybe even eighteen. Chichi wanted to be a kid and not grow up to fast and get into adult problems like marriage or whatever. Being a kid was fun. She was surprised at how many people are going out. Scary. She wasn't ready for that kind of stuff and she wasn't about to get pushed into being popular or as they say, “Part of the group”. If she was going to be in a clique, she'd rather be on the Unique clique. Chichi was going to be herself, a nerdy, anime-obsessed, Yamcha- loving geek(in a good way). She was the only person who could be herself, so she might as well live up to the description of her. After all, no one else will.
