Chapter 3
"And then if I carry the four..."
Pencils scribbles filled the empty Son house follwed by a long drawn out sigh. The most powerful fighter in the universe, the man...no the child that defeated Cell (unbeknowest to the populus)...reduced to doing homework. His Saiya-jin half cried out to train. It was his fathers passion, and eventually grew to become his. As he looked outside, he saw the red sky and thought that it was a beautiful scene to acomplish his training. But, he knew that his mother would never allow it and succumed to her will. Since his father died, his mother was all that he had. Well...atleast for now anyways. It was only two months after Bojack that she suprised everyone with her announcement of pregancy.
"Wow...I'm going to be a brother. An Oniisan."
He dreamed of the various adventures he would have with his little brother or sister. How he would show them the various places where he trained with Piccolo and the places where Goku and himself spent their last days together. It was then he realized that he would have to be more than a brother. With the absence of his Otousan, the responsibility of being the 'man of the house' fell upon his shoulders. It was exciting, but frighting all at the same time. How would he explain to his sibling why his father wasn't there? How could he explain that it was his fault that Son Goku would never see his two children at play?
"It wasn't your fault Gohan..."whisphered a hauntingly familiar voice. Gohans eyes opened wide with shock. His body was frozen in place. The pencil that seated its place in his hand rolled loose and fell to the floor. Could it really have been him?
After coming to from his initial shock he slowly turned around to confirm it was whom he thought. Sure enough, there stood a tall man in orange gi with a blue undershirt. His smile was confident yet gentle all at the same time. His father had returned.
"O....Otousan..."
"Gohan!" the taller man laughed. Gohan screamed "otousan" once again as he flew into his fathers arms. They stood like that for what seemed like ours, until the young boy looked up.
"D-demo...how?"
"Don't worry about that Gohan. What matters now is that we're together again."
Gohan was almost at the brink of tears. He missed hearing his fathers reasurring words. He missed his strength and courage as well as his laughter and understanding. It felt good to have his presence, his aura, his....
"....ki.", he whispered. Gohans face went from joyous to curious.
Goku looked at his son with concern. "Nani? What's wrong Gohan."
".....Your ki. Its...its...."
"Its...what?"
Gohans eyes narrowed. "...wrong." That was not his father. "I don't know who you are, or what you want, demo I won't let you harm my friends or dishonor my fathers name."
"Goku" looked down in silence. His eyes were darkened by his bangs as Gohan drew back into his fighting stance. "I'm hurt my son....", the blue wrist bands on the warriors arms morphed into gold bracelets. As Goku looked up, his voice changed into a more feminine and hateful one, "that you would not recognize your own father!" He brought his wrists together and a yellow ball flew towards the boy. Gohan barely dodged to the left, the mass of energy passed over his shoulder and passing through the wall of the room. Gohan, had to take a moment to analyze what he had seen. Usually, a normal ki would have blown up, destroying that wall with ease. He could not understand why it didn't do so this time. Unfortuently, he would not get the opportunity to figure it out as another blast hit him in the back. His lack of training dulled his fighters instinct enough for the intruder to get in another shot, and thats all he......that *she* needed. For as the world went black, Gohan saw the figure (or image?) of a golden armored woman whos laugh echoed in his ears.

The sun had set. Street lights began to light up the side walks as the ladies walks towards the exit of the mall. They were mostly silent with the occasional small talk. But all were really too busy comtemplating recent events. Actually, it wasn't really anything major. Usagi simply had a feeling. No evidence to back it up, or any other hardcore evidence. Just instinct. But it was Usagis instinct. As her friend, and as her senshi, they had to respect that.
Chi Chi signed. She didn't want to accept it, but Ami was right. Gohan, her percious boy whom she swore would never fight, would have to again. She just didn't want to see him hurt. In that sense, she could understand Usagis worry. Vejita was an arrogent jerk, but Usagi loved him as much as Chi Chi loved her family. And because of that love, both would rather die than see them hurt. But still if only....
Her thoughts were interrupted as she, as well as the rest of the women, noticed a bright light coming from an ally way.
"What was that?" cried Mina.
"Usagi!" cried Luna. Usagi nodded and the sailor senshi looked around for a place to transform.

"Piccolo!!!"
He opened his eyes, breaking his meditation. Dendes voice faded out. And now he had felt a ki signature unlike any other. It wasn't as powerful as Cells, but something about it seemed as though it were just as dangerous. Unlike the Saiya-jins, he follwed both his instinct and his better judgement.
Unfortunetly, neither would prepare him for what he saw.
What once was Kamis look out was now a dark void decorated with nebulas, stars, moons, and planets. It was almost beautiful if not haunting.
"Where am I? Is anyone here?!"
A small chuckle came from the other side of the room. "Two down....one more to go."
"Who are you? Why have you brought me here!?!" He threw off his head and shoulder weights. He knew this wasn't going to be idle talk. He also knew it wasnt going to be easy.
The figure on the thrown said nothing, but revealed two small diamonds in her hand. The golden glow shinned bright enough to reveal the highlights of his enemies face.
"What are those?"
"Don't you recognize them?"
"Why would I...?" he stopped himself. Those diamonds were emitting ki. And they felt too familiar. "Nani?!! Thats...thats....."
"Yes...the Saiya-jin. They are *mine*." She grinned madly at the Namek-jin and she let what was left of his fellow z-senshi float behind her, where they were joined by what seemed like millions of similar diamonds.
"What did you do to them?"
"The same that I will do to you. I have taken their star seeds."
"Oh really? Well I'm afraid I'll have to disagree."
The female voice laughed again, "Oh? How amuzing. Vejita felt the same way before I extracted his star seed. Maybe you'll provide better amuzement?"
"Hmph."
Her evil smirk only grew wider as she rose from her throne and laughed wickedly, "My my, not one for talk now are we? No matter." She waved her right hand at him as her other was firmly rested on her hip and continued, "Come, Namek-jin. Approach me if you dare."
Piccolos brow raised. He brought his arms in a defensive stance but continued to stare at her. She was very powerful, even though her pure ki didn't give it away. Of course he knew that ki could be controlled, but it was hard for him to determine just how much she was hiding. It had to be alot if she could defeat Gohan. But, then she might have attacked him quickly before he had the opportunity to reach his full potential. It had been a while since he had seen his former pupil perform Super Saiya-jin 2, so he had guessed he was out of practice due to his studies.
Piccolo sighed. So many variables, so many questions that he needed answered before he could launch an attack and very little time to do so. But, he knew well that in this line of work, you either get used to it or your dead. "No choice.", he thought as he side steped to his right a ways. Then he brought his arms forward so they were perpendicular to the ground. Logic usually dictated that it was better to attack from afar, so he shot four basket-ball size ki balls at his supposed kidnapper.
Unfortunetly, the attack proved futile as they were deflected off of a shield and sent right back at him. Piccolo jumped out of the way easily. "Kuso, "he thought, "this is going to be harder than I thought." He knew he was left with no choice but to attack head on. So, he lept from his position and charged her with his left arm behind him and his right in front."
The woman grinned for this was her chance. As her prize blasted towards her, she raised her wrists and sent a ball of energy straight at him. She knew that his first instinct would be to try and deflect it, and if not, then she could always make it swerve around and hit him.
Unfortunetly for Piccolo, her first guess was right. Has he had brought his right arm to deflect, the mass of energy went threw it and straight into his body. His eyes popped open, first out of shock that he didn't connect with it, then out of pain as he doubled over to the ground on his back. Upon doing so, a flower bug sprung from his forehead and bloomed into a flower. Inside, a diamond, much like the ones that the armored woman claimed was Vejita and Gohan, floated from the flower and hovered in mid-air.
Seeing this, she walked towards him and retrieved the star green seed and chuckled. "Now there is no one left to oppose me. Soon I shall claim them all for myself." Her head shot back as she gripped the star seed in her hand and her wicked laugh echoed.
