Saga II: Aria's Heart
Setup: Aria, Piccolo and Kim's daughter, has been sent to another dimension, by the Lord of Darkeness' evil henchman, Nexxus. Nexxus was the only one who could bring her back. Now it is up to Aria to return and defeat the Lord of Darkness. Can Aria survive in this strange dimension of magic and mayhem?

Act VIII: Lord of Darkness
Scene I: Somewhere on Earth (DBZ dimension)
Aria and Xellos appear in a grotto.
Aria: What are you doing, Xellos?
Xellos: I wanted to get you away from your parents. They were upsetting you. {leans in whispering in her ear}
Aria: Xellos... it's true... isn't it?
Xellos: What? {tilts his head}
Aria: You... are... in love with me.
Xellos: {facefaults} You just figured it out. {stands rubbing the back of his head}
Aria: So it's true?
Xellos: Yes, why do you think I kissed you and I came with you?
Aria: {plops down on the ground} Well, no one's ever been in love with me before. I guess I didn't know what to expect. I mean my parents aren't the most perfect example of love.
Xellos: On the contrary... they are. Your father was angered by your mother's blantant attraction to Zelgadis. He loves her so much, he just wanted to keep her.
Aria: But to attack Zelgadis!
Xellos: {sits down next to her} Do you love me?
Aria: I don't know. I've never been given the oppurtunity to fall in love. (I know what I have to do, now. Please... let me do it.)
Xellos: Well, do you want me to kiss you? Do you want to be with me? {leans in close to her}
Aria: {backs away} No... I think I want you as a friend... not more.
Xellos: {frowns} So you do love him? I figured as much.
Aria: Xellos, please tell me I'm wrong... Are you the Lord of Darkness?
Xellos: {opens his creepy mazoku eyes} Is that what you think?
Aria: Xellos... please... tell me I am wrong.
Xellos: I cannot do that. I cannot lie to you.
Aria: Then why? Why?
Xellos: That's a secret.
Aria: {stands and powers up} Xellos, please, tell me why!
Xellos: If you give me I kiss, I'll tell you my secret. {smiles devilishly}
Aria: Fine. {walks towards him and leans in to kiss him}
Zelgadis comes flying in with Kim, Vegeta, Piccolo and Dende following.
Zelgadis: He's the Lord of Darkness! {pulls Aria away}
Xellos: Naughty Zel! Taking Aria away from me, after your promise!
Zelgadis: You said no interferring, just observing!
Aria: What are you two talking about?
Xellos: Zel made you accept me... in return I promised not to touch you.
Aria: But you broke that promise.
Xellos: {shrugs}
Kim: Xellos, why would you...
Xellos: The big question is why can't I use my powers on you, and Aria. Even the little Guardian.
Zelgadis: You tap into dark emotions. They have none.
Aria: Xellos... you were going to tell me why.
Xellos: But I didn't get my kiss.
Zelgadis: {hold Aria away from Xellos} Not this time, Xellos.
Kim: {puts Xellos in a headlock} I wanna know!
Xellos: Alright! Alright! {released by Kim} The prophcy was broken... only the halfling child could release me, and she had to be of age. So I waited...
Aria: Nexxus sent me to your dimension so you could come here? Then why pretend to be after me?
Xellos: To gain Zelgadis' trust. If he thought I was betraying Xellas by working with you... then he would help get you to trust me. You already trusted Zel with your life... before I knew where you were transported.
Aria: Why are you the Lord of Darkness? You never seemed that bad.
Xellos: I was... and at one point I was in this dimension, causing terror. I was trapped in the other dimension over a thousand years ago where I joined the mazoku. It was prophecized that one day I would return here and enslave the universe with my dark power... but only the halfling child could stop me... it didn't say only she could free me. But that was true.
Aria: You've changed though... haven't you?
Xellos: {tilts head} It has been a thousand years.
Aria: Xellos, you don't have to be evil. It's not easy being evil.
Xellos: What do I have going for me?
Aria: I'll have to kill you if you try to enslave people!
Xellos: But you won't love me if I don't.
Zelgadis: {get elbowed by Aria so she could run to Xellos}
Aria: {hugs Xellos} I don't believe in basing one's life on the past. I know I probably can't feel the same for you... that you feel for me, but I do love you, Xellos. You're like an older brother... or a best friend. You make me smile and laugh more than anyone. I don't want to lose that.
Xellos: The perfect being... born of the purist and the once darkest... born of beauty and beast... born of an angel and a demon... the impossible child. It seems the prophecy is true. You are the only one who can stop me.
Aria: Is it working?
Xellos: {hug her back} Yes. But tell me Aria... what will I do, now?
Piccolo: You'll stay with us, until you find your place.
Kim: {looks at Piccolo shocked} Picci-chan?
Piccolo: #You did say you wanted those couches occupied...#
Aria: {turns to her parents} Really? You'll let him stay.
Piccolo: Under one condition... Dende... make sure his intentions are pure.
Dende: Uh, mostly.
Piccolo: Mostly?
Xellos: Well, I'm still the trickster priest. I can't be a goodie goodie when I feed off negative emotions.
Kim: {shakes her head} That's the Xellos we all know and love.
Xellos: Not yet... {shoves Aria into Zelgadis making them both tumble to the ground} That's the Xellos we love. {big triumpant smile}
Dende: If we are through here, I should be getting back. {flies off}
Aria: {looks down at Zelgadis, blushing} I'm sorry. I couldn't stop this time. {stands}
Zelgadis: {stands blushing} That's alright. {dusts off his cloak and pulls his hood over his face}
Piccolo: #So... you think those two will hit it off?#
Kim: Aww, Zel's blushing! {pulls back his hood}
Vegeta flies off... obviously bored with the events.
Aria: Mother!
Xellos: Aria's blushing too! See! {points at her violet cheeks}
Piccolo: (At least Zelgadis seems sane.)
Zelgadis: Can we use the dragonballs now?
Piccolo: Of co-
Kim and Aria: NO!
Zelgadis: {sweatdrops} Why not?
Aria: Zelgadis... I want to speak to you alone, first. {takes his hand}
Zelgadis: {blushes brighter} Alright.
Kim: {grabs Piccolo's arm and leans on it, as Aria and Zelgadis walk away} Aren't they so cute?
Xellos: Our little girl is growing up. {wipes imaginary tears}
Piccolo: Are you sure you're not upset by this?
Xellos: Maybe your next kid will like me... {pokes Kim's stomach}
Piccolo: {sweatdrops} What kid?
Kim: Uh, Picci-chan... I was going to tell you when Aria got back.
Piccolo: Are you saying... you're pregnant?
Kim: Yeah.
Piccolo promptly faints.
Kim: Pici... Picci-chan. {shakes him}
Xellos: {chuckles} I don't think he can handle another kid. But I forgot to say it's a boy. Oh well.
Kim: PICCOLO!!!!!
NEXT: Aria and Zelgadis have a talk. Piccolo wakes up, still in shock. Xellos plays tricks... sounds like fun. Wish I was there... oh wait, I am there! Hehe...
