CHAPTER THIRTEEN:
Porcelain-like skin arched in delight as the amazing tongue continued its sweet torment. Lean graceful fingers sank into dark auburn locks, stroking and pulling lightly in encouragement. Parted rosy lips gasped out a single word over and over again like a mantra.
"Vegeta…"
The delicate princess had never felt this way before. She couldn't believe that anyone was capable of bringing so much pleasure and joy to her being, with just a touch. She was ablaze in a passion that threatened to consume her sanity. She wanted to…
"Oh, yes…"
She gasped out again as she felt the cool wind whip across her now exposed skin. Vegeta had raised her t-shirt, giving him free access to her sweet flesh. She found herself going a deep crimson at the sight that they were probably making. Here they were, beneath the open afternoon heavens for the whole world to see and did she care? Not one bit.
"You are so beautiful, Ayeka." Vegeta mumbled softly, his hands now caressing the smooth lines of her flat stomach, slowly making their way up to the twin mounds that ached for his touch. Ayeka could only nod weakly in reply. She whimpered and bit her lower lip as she felt his thumbs brush against her tightened nipples in a slight brush. She arched her back off the ground, digging her hands into his scalp (which caused him to wince in pain), her face now contorted into one of intense pleasure.
"Oh, Tsunami…yes!"
She shivered as his warm tongue flickered lightly across the hardened nubs. He drew them into his mouth and suckled gently, causing Ayeka to yelp out in near euphoria. She began to thrash and buck against his solid heat, subconsciously aware of how much her movements did to arouse him. Vegeta cupped the pert breasts within his hands and lavished equal amounts of attention on them, smiling softly at the pants and gasps that it elicited from the female. The wild woman beneath him was so different from the prudish, uptight princess of a week ago.
~ Just a week…and I already feeling this way. Kami…I need my head checked. ~
He withdrew from her gently, leaning up to quickly silence the whimper of protest from her lips. Kissing her deeply, he moaned as he felt her almost naïve touch on his nether regions.
"Oh, Kami…Ayeka…touch me…" he begged, raising himself slightly to give her more access to his throbbing erection.
Ayeka felt herself get embarrassed. She had never done this before and she didn't want to look like an idiot in front of him. "I…I…don't know what to…to...do…" she muttered, lowering her lashes in slight confusion. How did she tell him that she was still untouched? A virgin?
She started in shock as Vegeta raised her chin to stare deeply into her eyes. She gasped at the darkened intensity in the naturally obsidian depths, that look that said so much but still gave no secrets away.
"Just do what you have been doing." Vegeta replied softly. And raising himself up, he pulled off the black tank top that had hugged his body like a second skin. Ayeka was now finding it very difficult to breathe. How could anybody have such an amazing body? Good grief, it should be illegal. She swallowed tightly as she raised her arms above her head, allowing Vegeta to remove her own t-shirt completely. She immediately tried to cover up herself, but found her arms gently pushed aside. She couldn't get herself to look at Vegeta's face now. She was in such a vulnerable position and she was afraid he would mock her.
"Please..." she began huskily. "I am…"
Vegeta leaned forward to capture her lips again. "Shssh…I will take care of you…I promise…"
She could feel her heart thud even faster at those words. Raising her eyes she stared into his own, wondering if she dared tell him of the way she felt. "Vegeta, I…oh my god!"
Vegeta barely had the time to react before he felt himself falling flat on his back. Grunting in surprise, he watched bewildered as Ayeka scrambled around for her t-shirt. What the hell had just happened? He could have sworn she was getting into it…
He immediately froze as his senses finally kicked in. Cursing himself for not being more aware of his surroundings, he spun around, growling softly in his throat, as the ki signature was picked up. There was someone in the woods behind them and whomever it was seemed to be no slouch in the strength department.
"Come, Vegeta! We have to get out of here!" Ayeka said hastily, her t-shirt already donned on. She looked frazzled. Anyone looking at her now would have taken in the tousled hair, the flushed face, the swollen lips, and would have quickly put two and two together.
Vegeta spun around to take in the panic-stricken woman behind him. "Why should I?" He snorted in derision. "Whoever it is had better come out here! I have no intentions of running away!" He spun back around and crouched in a defensive position, and with a loud bellow he called out. "Come out, coward!! Show your face!"
"Please, Vegeta!" Ayeka pleaded in desperation. "I have a feeling on who it might be! We have to hurry!"
"Nonsense! I run away from no one! Get out now or I will blast you out of that forest myself!!"
"Vegeta!! Stop being such a bull-headed baka and come with me!"
He was just about to give her another sharp retort, when the bushes before them seemed to suddenly have a life of their own. He noticed Ayeka's body tense and he growled again, not understanding the sudden strange feeling of fatigue that flowed through him. He felt like he was going to pass out. Shaking his head angrily, he tried to focus in on whoever it was, but that floating feeling was becoming too much. He could barely concentrate on anything.
~ I can…can't…let this…happen to me… ~
And with every fiber of his being, he summoned his newfound strength. In a flash of brilliant gold, he bellowed his strength to the heavens, transforming into his Super Saiyan state and consequently destroying a few of the natural landscape along the way. Thankful that he had dispelled the strange woozy dizziness, he was just about to issue out another challenge to their opponent, when he stopped short at the sight that was presented before him.
"Oh, shoot! And I was just about to see if it worked too!"
He blinked at the short red-haired `girl' before him. She was dressed in an elaborate yet simple sort of dress with funny pointy shoes to go with it. She looked like a pixie to Vegeta and the wide grin on her face wasn't helping matters much.
"You!!" Ayeka screeched out in disbelief. She stalked up to the girl and stared at her in much the same way as Vegeta was.
"You know her?" Vegeta asked in confusion. This day was turning out to be weirder and weirder by the minute.
"KNOW HER?! EVERYONE KNOWS HER!!"
"Well, aside from him." The girl snickered, clasping her hands together and staring in frank curiosity at the golden Saiyan before her. "So you are a super Saiyan, huh? I thought you guys were all extinct by now?"
Vegeta was now floored. "How the hell do you know about us?!"
"Oh…I have my sources."
"It's because she is a scientist. She knows everything, at least she is rumored to know everything." Ayeka responded calmly.
"This little girl is a scientist?"
"Hey…now! I might be little but I am well packaged up here!"
Ayeka snorted and continued. "Her name is Washu, and she is believed to be over 2000 years old. She was a genius scientist…"
"Still am!" Washu interrupted.
Ayeka glowered and continued. "… who allowed her extreme knowledge to get a little way out of hand. And because of her overzealousness, she was locked away…imprisoned as a form of punishment for her crimes. She has the ability to transform into either a child-like form or into her adult state…whichever strikes her fancy."
"Well…thanks for the little history lesson, Princess Ayeka." Washu said slyly.
"Hmph…how did you escape anyway? I thought you had been locked up!"
Washu grinned widely and gave the royals a mock bow. "Let us just say that some overzealous excavators uncovered me, huh?" She broke out into a high-pitched laughter that sent waves of fear down their backs. This was no happy go laughter of a kid; instead the underlying tones of an evil mind could be detected. "And they got what they deserved!"
"So what are you doing here, Washu?" Vegeta asked. He nearly fell on his behind again as the little woman/girl zipped up to him and began batting her lashes. "Umm…"
"Would you call me…Little Washu?" she pleaded in an attempt at being coy.
"Oh, for crying out loud." Ayeka muttered to herself.
Washu glared at her and then turned her attention back to the scowling prince. "Well?"
"And if I don't?"
"If you don't, I won't answer any of your questions." The scientist replied with a snap, before turning her back away.
Vegeta debated within himself. He didn't want to call her that stupid name, but his curiosity was getting the better of him. Turning around, he noticed Ayeka's raised eyebrow and light smirk, and with an exaggerated sigh, he opened up his mouth.
"Alright…Little Washu…what are you doing here…on earth?"
Washu grinned broadly at the endearment and zipping over to Vegeta again, she pounced on him, causing them to fall to the ground. Sitting on his stomach and ignoring the growl of anger from the princess, she began speaking.
"I am actually here to look for my daughter!"
"YOUR DAUGHTER? YOU DON'T HAVE A DAUGHTER!" Ayeka screamed out in irritation.
"Oh, but I DO." Washu replied cheekily. "My precious little baby." She gave a light sniff and continued. "I haven't seen her in…centuries! Is it so wrong for a mother to search for her daughter?!"
And before any one could think, Washu had collapsed on Vegeta's chest, wailing loudly in supposed grief.
"Oh, stop it!" Ayeka spat out. "How are you so sure she is here?"
Washu got back up, her eyes as dry as ever, and pinning her gaze on Vegeta, she answered. "I know she is here. I felt her and I have to look for her."
"Is that why you were watching us and trying to make me go to sleep?" The Saiyan no ouji asked coldly. "That was not called for you know."
"Oh, I was just trying out my new invention!" Washu enthused, bouncing off Vegeta again. In a flash a holographic computer appeared in front of her and she began to type away, all the while explaining her motive. "It was supposed to be a sleep enhancing device. You see, I implanted several molecular structures from the ions in the atmosphere and began to calculate the number of atoms and energy…"
Ayeka and Vegeta tuned her out and stared at each other in slight confusion. "You think she is telling the truth?"
The princess shrugged. "She has been known to be crazy. She might be right or she might just be hallucinating again. Look at her."
Washu's computer screen was now entirely covered with calculations and all what nots and quite frankly it was giving her audience a migraine. Finally, Vegeta had had enough.
"Alright!" He bellowed, causing the females to cringe a bit in fear. "Can't you just figure out where you daughter is and go fetch her or something?!"
"Well… I have done that." Washu replied. "And it shows that she is right here. So will you two help me find her?" She pleaded, already noticing the slight negative head shakes from the royals.
"Do we look like a lost and found service to you?" Vegeta snapped angrily. This whole afternoon had been a complete bust and he wasn't entirely happy. And he was hungry too.
Ayeka yanked his arm and whispered into his ears. "You don't want to make her too angry. She might turn you into something…horrible."
"Oh, like what? Turn me into a frog?" He snickered in reply, only to stop short at the pouty and sulky look on the scientists' face.
"So…you won't help me…" Washu said coldly.
Ayeka quickly jumped in and began in as reassuring a voice as she could manage. "Oh, he didn't mean that. Did you, Vegeta? He just has a very…umm…different sense of humor. Of course we would love to help you, right, Vegeta?" She finished, nudging his arm.
Vegeta winced at the sharp pain and plastered a small grin on his face. "Of course, we will."
Washu smiled happily. "Yay! Thank you so much! Alright then! Let's go home!"
The couple exchanged puzzled glances at each other, before running after the humming scientist.
"Hey! Wait a minute! What do you mean, let's go home?!" Ayeka asked.
Washu looked back over her shoulder and stared incredulously at the princess. "Why to our new home! The Capsule Corporation! Hurry, hurry! I am starved!"
Vegeta groaned. This was just brilliant. More strangers to invade his already miserable existence on this mud ball of a planet. How was he ever going to get rid of the strange scientist now?
~*~*~*~*~
Ryoko stretched out languidly and lay on her back. She stared at the star-lit sky and sighed deeply. This was too boring. She needed some excitement…not that she hadn't received any from her stay with her hosts. She cringed as she listened to another pan crash against the wall…
~ Or maybe it's poor Goku's head. ~
Hmm…poor Goku…since when? She had to admit that the burly Saiyan had more than peaked her curiosity. She had been here for the past week and had come to (reluctantly) admire the good nature of the strong Saiyan. She still couldn't understand why Chi-Chi seemed so uptight all the time. It was as if nothing Goku did or tried to do was ever right. He was blamed and criticized most of the time and Ryoko had barely been able to keep her retorts to herself. She had made it a point of duty to escape whenever they got into their shouting matches and she had found herself hanging out with the little boy…
~ Gohan…yeah, that's his name. ~
Gohan was extremely bright. That much was certain and she loved to listen to him read. She usually did this at night, so as not to incur Chi-Chi's wrath. Gohan would select one of his many storybooks and read them out to her. She kicked herself for slowly becoming too attached to the little kid.
~ I am getting way too soft. ~
She sometimes, well actually twice, followed the men on their fishing trips or hikes in the woods. She could feel herself blushing at the concern and care that Goku tended to show her. He always made it a point of duty to see that she was alright. He would take the time to explain certain wildlife to her and she found herself enjoying the attention tremendously.
~ Yes, that's all I wanted…someone to treat me with some respect. ~
"Ryoko?"
She sat upright at the soft call of her name. Spinning around sharply, she stared down at the orange-clad figure on the ground. "Yeah? What do you want?"
Goku scratched his head and looked sheepish for a second, before speaking again. "Well…sorry to bother you, but we have been invited to Capsule Corporation for a party on Saturday and I just wondered if you wanted to come with us?"
Ryoko hmmed and then hmmed some more. "What kind of a party is this?" she finally asked.
"Umm…just a little costume party for a couple of friends. It should be fun! You will like it!"
"Costume party, huh? Is that green friend of yours going to be there?"
"Piccolo? Yeah…why? Hey, you are not still mad at him for what he did last time, are you? He was just trying to do his duty…or something."
She snorted. "Yeah, right! He all but accused me of being after your blood! I could have killed him there and then you know. Sheesh, he acts like he is your bodyguard."
"He was just looking out for me…so are you coming?"
She fell back against the roof and pursed her lips for several minutes. "Fine! I will come, but it had better be a good one!"
Goku grinned. "I am sure you will have a blast. Goodnight, Ryoko!"
She nodded in response and turned over to her side. Listening to the sound of the door closing, she whispered softly to herself.
"Goodnight…my Goku."
~*~*~*~*~
"Are we going to the party, Kiyone?"
"Of course we are!" the teal-haired woman replied. She shuffled through the clothes or rather costumes in her possession. She raised the frilly looking one and sniffed in derision.
~ Too flashy. ~
"Wow! This is going to be so much fun!" Mihoshi enthused, grabbing a hold of an elaborate feathered fan and waving it in front of her face. "What are you going as?"
Kiyone's muffled voice was heard from within the confines of the large wardrobe. "I am not sure yet…but it has to be something that won't attract too much attention."
"Oh…how about this one then?"
Kiyone stuck her head out and stared in disbelief at the sparkling bright green jumpsuit. "God! Mihoshi, that outfit screams `LOOK AT ME!'
"Really? I guess I better not get it then. How about this one?"
Kiyone groaned. At this rate, they were going to be stuck in this costume store forever.
She withdrew her tracker from her jacket and nodded at the blinking cursor. They had finally discovered the location of Capsule Corporation and to Kiyone's immense delight, she had learnt of their annual costume ball. This was the opportunity that she had been looking for. They would join the festivities and hopefully get the princesses and their kidnapper(s).
Yep! This was going to be a cinch.
"Alright Mihoshi, stop goofing around! We have a party to get ready for!"
A/N: Interactive time! Let me know what you guys think each character should be dressed as for the costume ball. I will try to select the best ideas out there.
