Chap 5: Plans for choosing a Maid of Honor

We're into september right now so bare with me This story is supposed to take place 2 months after the end of Summers love sorry for the confusion

The morning after the choosing where they were going to be wed and also having the good fortune of being able to get some one to do it that very same day. The experience had left the two women extremely tired so they decided to take it easy for a while. The alarm rang at 7 o'clock announcing that it was time to go to work. The good thing was, was that neither of them were working at the music store anymore and had began their new careers. Bra was doing well in the R&D department of Capsule Corp and was in the middle of designing a brand new housing unit with 3 times the space of the recent ones and worked much more efficiently than the others to.

Pan however did not need to get up until about 2 since many of her classes didn't start till 2:30 and she closed at 7, but she liked waking up along with Bra so they could you know shower together eat together, you know the type of stuff alot of couples do. That was an assumption I dont know of many couples that actually do that but thats a different subject, now back to the story. Getting up this early also allowed Pan to do some cleaning, shocking I know, go grocery shopping, maked dinner early, visit family, just errands and shit.

After Pan had to nudge Bra awake the two of them showered and then went to the kitchen for breakfast. As Pan began to cook breakfast Bra started up a normal conversation in their home "So what do you have planned today?" she asked before taking a sip of tea. "Well not much I was just planning on doing some shopping and maybe try and find a good tailor shop for making the tuxedos and then maybe visit my grandparents or something."

Bra looked at her over her tea mug and said "I thought we were going to take it easy for awhile?"

Pan just casually smiled and said "I'm only browsing not doing anything so don't worry about it," Bra was about to say something before Pan spoke up and said "How's about us meeting up for lunch today?" Bra looked at Pan with a look os sheer happiness and replied "You mean just like we used to?"

Pan looked up from the stove and said "You make it sound like haven't done anything like the for years. But yeah just like we used to." Bras smile looked exactly like the traditional Son family smile and said "That sounds great." The two of them smiled and then sat down and ate the wonderful food that Pan had made.

After they cleaned up the dishes the two of them climbed into the car and drove into Satan City so that Bra could go to her job. As they reached the door to the Capusle Corporations Reasearch and Development department Pan stopped Bra before she could get out of the car and asked "What time shall I pick you up for lunch?" Bra thought about this and then said "How about 1?"

Pan just nodded and then placed a quick kiss on Bras lips just as one of Bras co-workers who knew about them and didn't care since they'd known him since they were all in diapers came along and said "Get a room."

The two broke apart and said "You wish." at the same time and parted ways.

After dropping Bra off Pan headed out of town and headed off to see her mother and baby brother. When she got to the house she wasn't surprised to see that two cars were missing since Tony was back at school and Gohan was at work.. So she headed up to the front door and knocked a little loudly so that her mother could hear her over the noise her brother was making.

After waiting a few minutes Pan was surprised to see that her 2 month old brother had answered the door. Pan marveled at how much he had grown since she'd last seen him and wasn't to surprised to find out that he was walking since her parents hadn't removed his tail and was strong enough to jump up and reach the handle. Pan smiled and picked the little guy up and gave him a hug while saying "Hey there little guy." before going in to see her mother.

Pan had no idea where her mother was so for the hell of it she asked Raziel "Hey, do you know where mom is?" But all she received was laughter as her brother tossed her hair around. "I guess thats a no." so Pan went back to the old fashioned way of finding someone...Yellling .

"MOM!" Pan yelled as she entered the living room "MOM!" Pan was happy to hear her mothers voice go "I'm in the basement." Pan headed towards the gated stairwell which surprisigly enough was still standing and proceeded down to the basement. When she got their she saw that her mother was sitting in a chair reading a book.

Pan was shocked at this and asked "What was this little guy doing running around upstairs?" Videl looked up in shock at the sight of Raziel in the arms of his sister and snatched him out of arms while saying "How the hell did he get out of his crib?" Pan just stared at her mother and asked "What was he doing in his crib?" "He was asleep. I never realized that he'd be able to get out usually he starts screaming." "Well that's pretty self explanatory but make sure that you're upstairs next time." How often do you see a daughter give their mother parental advice?....I thought so almost never.

"So what do I owe the honor for your visit." Pan just shrugged and said "I had some time to kill before having to meet Bra for lunch so I thought I'd visit you and the baby." Videl just smiled and nodded and then asked "So how's the planning going." Pan just said "Good." and then began to tell her about yesterdays experience with the planner and Vejitta and finding a hall and all the other stuff that happend during that day.

As they were talking Pan forgot about the time and looked at the clock and saw that she had only half and hour before she had to pick up Bra she gave her mother and brother a kiss and shouted "I'll call later tonight if I can alright." and jumped in the car and sped off towards town.

Bra had been standing outside for about 5 minutes when Pan pulled up got out and said "I am so sorry. I was with my mom and lost track of time." Bra just smiled and said "That's alright you needed to catch up with her since you haven't seen her since buying my ring." Pan smiled and was glad that she had such an understanding person as a mate.

10 minutes later the two of them were sitting in one of their favorite restaurants and hadn't been there for no more than five minutes until they began to talk about the wedding. This was started by Bra asking "I was thinking about the wedding today."

Pan let out a moan but shut up as Bra said "It's not a big thing I was just thinking about a maid of honor." Pan just stared and said "Really? So who'd you pick?" Bra just picked at her food and said "Well since I have so many people to pick from I thought about having a bit of a battle for it." Pan was scared as she saw Bras face get a really Vejitta like look to it before saying. "Are you sure?" Bra just looked at her and said "Positive."

"Well it looks like I'll have to close the dojo for this evening." Pan said exaspereately. "Bra just looked at her and asked "Are you sure." Pan just waved the question away and said "Positive. Now who's going to be in this thing."

Bra listed off the names of people she was seriously considering. And they were all close friends of them both they were Marron, Akane, Shampoo, Ukyo, and three girls that they'd known since preschool.

Pan just stared at her mate and said "You're nuts." Bra smiled wickedly and said "I know but that's one thing you love about me." Pan leaned in close and said "You got that right." before kissing her beloved lightly.

After lunch Pan dropped Bra off and then called the people for the nights events.

Marrons answer "I don't know if I'll survive but i'll be there.

Akane "Sure I'd love to participate for the honor of being the maid of honor at your wedding."

Shampoo "Shampoo show up and make friends proud."

Ukyo, who is Shampoos lover, "Sure sug, me and Sham-chan'll be there."
The other three couldn't make it.

So there you have it the setting for a battle royale to be the maid of honor in Bra and Pans wedding.

Thats chapter five. next chapter we'll go through the first 2 fights and then onto the main event.
