Finally! An update! Sorry for the wait! I've got about three or four more stories I'm giving my full attention to.

Dorm House
Chapter 1: Moving in



[Kagome's POV]


*sigh* My first year in college. Dang, I am SO nervous. When I first saw the 'dorm house' I was supposed to stay in I nearly passed out. It was seemingly 3 stories, but it wasn't until I got inside that I saw that there was a basement. These dorm houses are AMAZING!!!!

Right when you walk in the door you are in this huge livingroom. The carpeting is a cream color and the furniture is a cream/white color. A big chandelier hangs over the big sofa, which is framing a big circular dip in the floor, making it seem like an extra sitting place. The dip had lots of champange colored beanbags in it, it was adorable.

In front of it was the huge screen TV and the equally huge entertainment system. It had probably every DVD imaginable and every game system and game to go with it.

The kitchen was on the other side of the room. It has one of those counters that had tall cushion stoold to go with it to make it look like a bar. It separated the livingroom form the kitchen. The stove was one of those eyeless ones- the ones you use to put on those big cooking shows on- and the kitchen had one those microwaves that were built into the wall.

The counters were a pretty white marble. The dining room is separated from the kitchen and livingroom by a door and there were one of those LONG dining tables decorated with lots of white roses, plates and silverware (they weren't white too, they were silver).

Then finally there's stairs and an elevator leading to the second and third floor. There were rooms on the first floor, I think there are twelve rooms on the first and third floors, and ten rooms on the second floor.

Someone must have put in some funding because I know a college couldn't afford all this, and a public one at that. It's like a dream come true, it makes you feel all rich and junk. There's even a big pool in the back! Come on, college dorms don't have pools!

The best thing about it is that I get to share this experience with Bulma!

[3rd person]


Kagome wiped the sweat from her brow as she looked around her room proudly. She had chosen a room on the room on the second floor. "I guess that's enough work for today. I should go look to see who I'll be staying with," she thought out loud. She walked out of her room dressed in nothing more than a light pink tank top, some light blue short shorts and pink flip-flops with the matching flowers at the top.

She rode the elevator down to the first floor. She noticed other people coming into the dorm and looking around amazed.

Her eyes landed on a girl with short brown hair and brown eyes. She looked like she was confused so Kagome decided to introduce herself.

She walked up to her saying, "Hi, my name's Kagome. Do you need some help?"

The girl looked up at her. "Oh! My name's Keiko Yukimura. I'm just looking around. These dorm houses are huge." she said smiling. Kagome returned the smile.

"No kidding, someone put some funding in this college because we're living better than rich kids in college!" she said looking around once more.
Keiko and Kagome shared a laugh and Keiko picked up her bag.

"Well, I'll see you around Kagome. I'm gonna see what this place has to offer." Keiko said turning to leave. "Alright, I'll see you later. Nice meeting you." Kagome shook Keiko's hand and Keiko left to walk up the stairs. Keiko turned and waved before walking up the steps.

"Kagome!" someone called out to her. Kagome turned and saw Bulma heading towards her. "Hey Kags, aren't these dorm houses amazing?" she asked.

"I've seen better," said a rough voice behind them. Bulma rolled her eyes, knowing who it was.

"Really Vegeta?" she asked in a sarcastic tone. Vegeta shrugged, walking up to stand next to her. "Yep, my house." was his reply.

"Hey! Nice one Vegeta!" said Inuyasha. Kagome looked surprised. "Where'd you come from?" she asked. "The door, duh!" Inuyasha sneered.

Kagome frowned. "Why are you such a jerk?" she asked. "Because you're a wench," Inuyasha shot back. Kagome kicked him.

"OW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" "You two are so immature," Vegeta grunted. "The only immature one here is dog-boy," Kagome growled.

Vegeta picked his bags up. "I'm going to go pick out my room before all the good ones are taken," he said leaving. Inuyasha followed him, glaring at Kagome as he passed her.

"He so likes you, Kagome," Bulma said turning to her best friend. Kagome snorted. "Yeah, and Vegeta wears panties," she snapped.

Bulma giggled. "You wanna help me set up my room? Then maybe we can go to dinner like we planned."

Kagome nodded and started to follow her but a flash of red hair stopped her. "Bulma! It's him!" Kagome whispered fiercely to her pulling on her shirt.

Bulma gave Kagome a confused look before she saw Kurama-- the boy Kagome bumped into earlier that day. She gave Kagome a sly look.

"Hey Kurama!" she called, then turned her head, making it seem like Kagome called his name. He turned their way.

"What are you doing Bulma?!" Kagome whispered. Bulma just smiled. Kurama saw Kagome and smiled, walking towards her. Kagome blushed a deep red and started to panic.

"Kagome, right?" Kurama said lowly as he reached her. Kagome, who was still as red as a tomato, could only nod. "Looks like we'll be staying in the same dorm. That's cool, because I'd like to get to know you better," he said smoothly. He reached behind him and pulled out a red rose, handing it to Kagome.

He then winked at her, and left upstairs. Kagome stood there, dumbfounded. Bulma walked up to her smirking. "Wow, we just started college and you already have gorgeous guys falling for you. I'm so jealous Kagome," she said. Kagome glared at her. "I'm going to kill you," she growled.

"Whatever, I did you a favor." Bulma said.

She decided to go ahead a choose her room. "You coming Kagome?" Bulma asked picking up her bags.

Kagome followed her friend.

Vegeta chose the third room on the third floor. It was roomy, but not really his style. 'This'll have to do,' he thought throwing his bag on the bed. "So, what do you think?" Inuyasha asked, walking into the room.

Vegeta snorted. "It's ok. Like I said, my house is better,"

Inuyasha sat down. "I just want to see all the honeys I'll be staying with," he smirked. Vegeta raised a brow. "You already saw yours, and you can't stop arguing with her," he pointed out.

Inuyasha looked disgusted. "As if I'd like Kagome, she's such a wench." he said. Vegeta shook his head. "Are you going to dinner with Bulma and Kagome?" he asked.

"Are you?" Inuyasha countered. "Doubt it,"

Inuyasha got up. "Well, I'm going to have a look around," he said. Vegeta didn't say anything so he just left.

As he walked down the hall to the elevator, he passed some girls sending him flirtatious smiles. He smirked. 'Life is good...' He walked down the stairs and saw even more people entering the dorm house.

'This is going to be one interesting year,' he thought.


Vegeta finished unpacking and decided to go and see what Inuyasha was up to. Throwing his duffle bag into the closet, he walked out of his room and almost ran into Bulma.

"Oh, sorry about that, Vegeta," she apologized. Vegeta grumbled a response, then turned to leave. "Um..Vegeta?"

He turned and gave her one of his bored expressions. "What woman?" he asked. "It's..uh..nice to see you again," Bulma said shyly.

Vegeta stood there, actually surprised. He shook his head and left downstairs. Knowing Vegeta, Bulma smiled and followed him. Downstairs everyone seemed to be getting settled in.

Vegeta looked over at the sofa to see Inuyasha sitting by a least four girls chatting happily. He rolled his eyes and watched as the last of his house mates came into the house.

Taking a seat on one of the kitchen stools, he watched as Goku tried to get everyone's attention. "Hey everyone!" he called. Everyone stopped talking to see what he wanted.

"Hi, since we're all going to live together for the next two semesters, I was thinking we all introduce ourselves. My name is Son Goku, but you all can call me Kakerotte. I'm 18, and I love to eat." he finished with a smile. Vegeta snorted. 'Leave it to Kakerotte to come up with a stupid idea,' he thought.

Everyone else seemed to like the idea and people got up one by one to introduce themselves.

Kagome was first. "Hi, I'm Kagome Higurashi, I'm 18, and I love to dance." she blushed when a couple of guys whistled. Inuyasha, who was still sitting on the couch snorted.

A blonde haired guy walked up there. He was wearing a red muscle tee, showing off his toned muscles, and baggy black jeans. He had beautiful green eyes, and a beauty mark right under his left eye.

"Hey, my name is Vash. I'm 19, and I love the ladies!" he said winking. A girl with dark blue hair behind him rolled her eyes and pushed him out of the way.

"Please excuse my boyfriend, for he knows not what he does. My name is Meryl Strife, I'm 18, and I love to write." she stated. She then grabbed Vash and stomped off.

That's when a tall girl, with long black hair and deep chocolate eyes stepped up there. She could have been Kagome's twin, only there was a conceited air around her, making you seem unworthy of her presence.

Inuyasha looked up, interested as to who she was. "I'm Kikyo. I'm 18 and I love fashion. And I'm only going to say this once, my room, is off-limits. You go in my room, your dead." she stated coldly.

Vegeta smirked. 'So there are some interesting people her.' he thought. Others introduced themselves, including a blue haired girl named Botan, some dude with burgundy, blonde, and black hair named Yami, and other intresting people.

By the time everyone was aquainted, it was going on 5. Bulma looked at Kagome. "We're still on for Carraba's?" she asked. "You bet!" Kagome replied excitedly.

They turned to Vegeta and Inuyasha, who were busy talking and checking out the females. "Are you two going to come to Carraba's with us?"

Vegeta grunted and rolled his eyes. "Why should we?" Inuyasha asked for him. "Come on Inuyasha, we haven't seen each other in like, forever! this is just some catching up. It'll be fun!" Bulma pleaded.

Kagome gave them both the puppydog eyes. Both Vegeta and Inuyasha looked at each other, then Bulma and Kagome. Before they could answer no, Bulma cut them off saying, "I'm paying,"

"Alright!" Inuyasha smiled. "Well, we're going to get ready, we'll be back in 15 minutes," Kagome dragged Bulma away. "Why you do that?" she whispered.

"It was the only way I could get them to come," Bulma smiled sheepishly. They walked into their rooms and beagn to get ready.

Downstairs Vegeta and Inuyasha sat checking out the entertainment system. "This has got to be one of the biggest ones I've seen!" Inuyasha exclaimed.

Vegeta said nothing but looked towards the stairs to see Bulma and Kagome coming down giggling. Bulma wore a black flare out tube top shirt with tight blue jeans and matching heels.

Kagome sported the green tank top with blue jeans and green and white airforces. "Alright, let's get going." Bulma said pulling Vegeta and Inuyasha out the door.


Well, that's it for now. *Dodges tomatoes* Sorry for the weak update, I got lazy. I promise the next one won't be like this.

Oh before I forget, this fic will not contain any Kikyo bashing! I repeat: NO KIKYO BASHING!!! Sorry Kikyo haters (I am one) but in this one she's just misunderstood. There will be times where she acts like a bitch, but other times where she's just someone to talk to. She will not be Kagome's enemy, or visa versa. Sorry.
