Chapter 3: Introductions and new beginnings

Jen struggled to sit up in the bed while watching the spectacle Bulma and Vegeta were putting on with their verbal sparring. Being on the edge of the bed and being the clutz she was , Jen suddenly fell out of the bed, grabbing everyone's attention.

Laughing nervously, she looked at everyone, blushing crimson.

Suddenly Goku appeared in the room and smiled cheerfully at Jen," Hiya."

Jen straightened herself up with the help of Goku as he placed her back on the bed.

A moment of silence crossed the room.

A few minutes later Goku explained to every body who she was and introduced Jen to tthe whole Z gang. Of course she knew each and everyone of them but she didn't breath a word.

Later that night

Jen walked to the window and stared at the ebony sky above. There was no moon which made it all the blacker with only the glittering stars to light up the sky. She remembered Piccolo had destroyed the moon due to Gohan transforming into his oozaru form.

Thinking back to earlier that day, she remembered that she had met the whole Z gang, this seemed to be a while just after movie seven. I mean Gohan was still elevan and Mirai Trunks was still here and had his long hair.

" I wonder if they've fought Brolly yet."

Jen sighed to herself and went to sleep.

The next day

Jen yawned as she woke the next day,the sun gleaming through the window panes. Jen closed her eyes then opened them slowly adjusting them to the light. She yawned once more and crawled out of bed, her body still badly sore.

She went into the private bathroom in her new bedroom. Turning the faucet to the shower, she ran the hot water. Opening the closet she found two fluffy rose pink towels, she placed them down and then found an outfit out of nowhere.

It was a pair of denim faded jeans and a lowcut blue jean top with long baggy sleeves. She also found a bra and a pair of plain white bakini panies.

In the cabinet she found, deoderant, perfume, body splash, A bottle of strawberry shampoo and berry scented shower get.

She took the washcloth, the shampoo and shower gel and began to undress.

She looked in a wall mirror. Her body looked horrible. There were bruises and scratches all over her body. Her lng golden hair was in all kinds of tangles. Sighing she stepped into the shower, the steam from the heat rising everywhere.

She stood thinking while the hot water ran over her body, clensing it of sweat and dirt.

Putting some shower gell on the wash cloth she scrubbed the remainder of the dust and grim off her body then proceeded to wash all the dirt and residue out of her long golden tresses.

Drying herself down, she put on the clothes Bulma had left for her. Brushing her hair, she placed it in a high ponytail and made her way downstairs. It took her ten minutes before she got lost. She walked hall through hall, turning here and that, until she ran into Trunks

Not seeing where she was going, she felt herself bump into something or someone.

Falling backward she glanced up, eyes widening , her face colored deeply.

Trunks was standing above her with a bewildered look that reminded her of Gohan.

" Hi," Trunks said blushing a light pink.

" Um, hi," Jen said getting up with the help of Trunks. " I was trying to find something to eat around here." Jen replied laughing nervously.

" Oh well let me show you." Trunks smiled sheepishly as he led the way to the kitchen.

Bulma was busy feeding baby Trunks his breakfast, getting baby food all over his bib while Vegeta was gobbling down his food like any other saiyajin would. This all stopped when Jen and Trunks walked into the room. Vegeta looked up from his food and Bulma looked away from baby Trunks, food drooling down his chin.

Vegeta just grunted his usual hmph and went back to his food.

Bulma smiled and went up to Trunks and Jen, showing Jen her seat.

Looking at the food, Jen licked her lips and began to eat.

There was a stack of pancakes with fresh cut strawberries on top, scrambled eggs, toast and a side dish of multiple fruits.

Jen glanced over at Trunks, he didn't eat half as sloppy as Vegeta or Goku, he rather ate kinda neat like Gohan did only more.

Halfway through the meal, a sharp pain shot through Jen's spine and lower back. She dropped her fork, pieces of pancake fell to the floor.

Screaming she grabbed the table cloth , falling to the ground, bringing the table cloth and all it's contents with her. Vegeta stuck his knife and fork down ward only to come in contact with the table, looking down he noticed his food was gone.

Jen continued to scream frantically as the searing pain in her back continued. Biting her bottom lip she thrashed wildly at the agonizing pain. Grabbing the stained tablecloth she opened her eyes, tears streaming down, while she screamed and looked on in horror.

Suddenly a sharp pain burst through her tailbone area, her scream piercing that of a super ssj.

Then Goku appeared in the room, taking his two fingers from his forehead, he look dumbfounded at the girl thrashing madly on the floor. He quickly rushed to her, trying to pick her up, she lunged her legs at him in an effort to push him away. Goku then restrained her and rushed her to her room.

Placing her on the bed, he looked down at her, noticing something brown and furry near her back and buttocks area. It started to grow longer and wiggle free.

"Um Vegeta, you might wanna come see this."

Vegeta walked over to Goku, his usual scowl on his face, " What is it, Kakarotto? I don't have time for this nonsense......"

Vegeta stopped in midsentence when he looked at what Goku was pointing at.

Vegeta unfolded his arms, a look of pure shock replacining his angry scowl, " A saiyajin, it can't be......."

Goku's expression then became serious, " Yeah, I guess so." His face then lightened up to his usual demeanour. He placed his hand behind his back. "So now what."

Vegeta ignored Goku, studying the girl moaning in pain on the bed.

one week later

Jen opened her eyes, looking around her room. She felt completly exausted. Gingerly stepping out of the bed she walked to her bathroom. When she undressed she gasped at what she saw, behind her she saw a brown monkey like tail swishing back and forth.

" *gasp* It can't be."

She stood there for what felt like ten minutes until she showered and got dressed. Suddenly her stomach growled. Touching her stomach she laughed, "Guess i'm kinda hungry."

Jen walked down the hall to the kitchen and opened the fridge. Grabbing a bunch of fruits, lunchmeats and bread, she went to the counter and made herself 2 sandwiches. Putting the leftover bread and lunchmeat, she went to the table and ate the sandwiches and fruit.

" Damn, since when did my appetite get so big."

Jen then got up and walked outside, looking up at the stars, she took a deep breath andsighed.

She stood there for what was like an hour.

Walking back into Capsule corp. and stopped in her tracks when she saw Vegeta standing there. She carefully walked past him, her heart hammering in her chest. Surprisingly, Vegeta just stared as Jen walked past, his usual smirk on his face.

2 days later

Jen sat on a sofa in a recreation room reading a book when Piccolo and Goku came up to her. Puzzled Jen put down her book while Piccolo and Goku stood in front of her.
