Chapter one - Something lost, but another gained

Disclaimer - I don't own DBZ or anything of the sort. Though I do own Belinda, Tealuna, and Alexander. Muahahahaha ::cough:: hahahahaha. Sorry, anyways.

Author's note - Okay this story is set in the 16th century. I'm sorry if some historical facts are wrong. I'm aware of that. Bulma is a neo-pagan (even though neo-pagans didn't exist back then. Pagans did. Lol.) She's Wiccan, and so is her mother. Just look at the summary to see what it's about damnit. I'm too lazy to write it again. Lol. Anyways, yeah, I'm sorry if you disagree with the Wiccan religion. Your problem not mine. Lol. I am Wiccan in case any of you are wondering. Oh, and to clear up any confusions, we are NOT satan-worshippers. We don't even believe hat there is a 'satan'. So yeah…

On with the story...........

"Hurry child" whispered a scared and worried Belinda. She could hear the towns' people outside. "Witches, come out and be burned" "Worshippers of satan" "Evil doers" "You shall never casts spells again. Come out or we will burn your house down," shouted the villagers. "What is happening mama?" asked Bulma innocently. She was scared, but she didn't want to show it. She wanted to be like her mother, fearless, or so she thought. "Come child" said Belinda rushing her beautiful blue-haired daughter out the back door. There was a man on a horse there, waiting for them. "Bulma. You have to go now. Mommy loves you okay sweetie. Don't ever forget that." Belinda told her daughter, she tried to hold back her tears, but was failing miserably. Belinda took her Pentacle necklace and ring off and put them on her daughter. The ring was much to big for the finger of the small four-year-old child, so her mother put it on the necklace and placed it around Bulma's neck. "Hurry. We must go." said the mysterious man on the horse. He got off of his horse and picked Bulma up by her waist. "NOOOO. MAMAAA"screamed Bulma. She had been crying since her mother had said she had to leave. She just didn't understand. Why was she leaving? Why wasn't her mother coming with her? Why was their house burning? As the man placed her on the horse and rode away she looked back and saw man throw a lit torch at her mother. "Mama" she murmured, tears flowing freely down her cheeks, before blacking out.

"Wake up little one" Bulma heard a soothing voice say. The small child slowly opened her eyes, and saw a very handsome man staring down at her. "Where is my mama?" she asked trying to remember what had happened earlier. "Your mother had to go sweetpea," said the kind man. "You're going to live with me now. My name is Alexander. You can call me papa if you'd like" Alexander told her. Bulma smiled sweetly and nodded her head. She looked around and saw that she was lying in a beautifully decorated bed. The room was filled with toys and extravagant things. "Is this my room papa?" she asked. "Yes it is. You are my ward, and my wife's of course. Her name is Tealuna. I'm sure you will grow to love her." said her new father, smiling down at her. "Where are we?" she asked. Alexander laughed. "You are so inquisitive my child. If you must know, we are in the Kingdom of Galicia, of which I am King. Which means that you shall from now on be called Princess Bulma of Galacia." told the child. Bulma let out a small gasp. "Me? A princess? Really?" she asked very shocked at what she had just been informed. "Yes. Now get some rest. You will need it." He said kissing on the forehead and getting up to leave the room.

Well that's it. I know it's a little bit short, but it's only the introduction. So, how did you all like it? If I don't get any reviews then I'm not updating. Thank you! ^_^ Heehee.
