Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ A Story of the Dove and the Raven ❯ A Mystery In a Jacket ( Chapter 1 )

[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]

Every demon, villain, and psycho watched gleefully from afar at the enormous hole that was announced to be the way out of Hell and to Earth. As everyone was being resurrected and allowed passage through the dimension rip, a small, teenage girl stood back and watched with curiosity.

"Well, this is new," she mumbled to herself, her light golden eyes watching everything and everyone. Halos disappeared, prisoners of Hell leapt into the ominous looking hole, evil and gleeful cackling heard all around, and a pair of old men stood by with joyous expressions on their wrinkled faces with young raven-black haired boy sitting behind them with a frown.

Her eyes switched back to the hole and watched it intensely. In the back of her mind she could hear a weak male voice saying to her, go . . . escape with them.

"I can't," she whispered and tossed back her long, dove-white hair only to have it fall over her golden eyes again.

You can. Just go down there. You can be resurrected and we can escape this place.

She shook her head and shrank back some, her small hands coming up to gasp the large black jacket she was wearing, and pulled it tighter around her.

"I can't. I don't know anything about this . . . this Earth."

There must be life down there though, healthy, delicious life. We can become stronger once more and take over the planet. You know you want to. It's been way too long. Please, you must do this.

She bit her lip nervously as she watched everyone jump into the hole. The voice in the back of her head continued to reassure her of all the advantages she would get out of her visit to Earth. Her grip loosened and fell to her side.

"You're right," she whispered, then an evil smile slowly played across her lips. With a laugh, the teenager pulled the hood over her head and her young features were cast completely into shadow, the darkness seeming to go on forever into the depths of the hood.

She then knelt down, her tight black jeans brushing just barely on the rough ground, and planted her sleeve-engulfed hands on the ground. Suddenly she faded from view and reappeared behind the teenage boy. She stood up and walked slowly toward him, her black and white sneakers scraping against loose rocks and dirt.

The boy turned around quickly and glared coldly at her. She stopped and stared at him from the darkness inside her hood.

"Who the hell are you?"

She said nothing.

"Mmm, I see. Dr. Gero, Dr. Myuu, it would seem we have another who wants to wreck havoc on Earth." He then turned his attention away from her. The two old men turned around and stared at her closely with intense interest.

"Hmm, have you been to Earth before?" asked the one with white hair. Instead of replying she hesitantly nodded her head.

"Have you fought Goku or any of his friends before?" asked the other. Another nod.

"What is your name?" the white-haired one asked again.

"BJ," the reply came in a harsh, masculine whisper. The two men glanced at each other before the white-haired one eyed her closely.

"Alright then." He turned to the other man who nodded. They moved away and allowed her to walk up to the edge of the hole. She felt eyes on her back and she turned slightly only see the raven-haired boy regarding her with curious icy-blue eyes. The other men were talking to other demons.

Straightening her back, she turned around and leapt over the edge and dived downward, the excited feeling of her golden halo disappearing and life rushing through her veins causing her to break into a smile inside her hood.

Well, that's it for now. I know it seems a little boring atm, but I promise to make it better further into the story! ^^
