Amy and Nicole come running breathlessly into the living room.
A- I can't believe we finally have it!
N- I know! We gotta use it *right* now!
A- No duh!
Nicole carefully takes the package out of her bag and Amy turns on the T.V. They have returned just in time for DragonBall Z.
A- So. Who gets to use it first?
N- I don't know.
She takes the bubble wrap off of the object and holds it up for Amy to see.
A- You can and I'll do it for Gundam Wing.
N- K.
Nicole aims it at the T.V. just as the opening credits finish. She pushes the big red button and......
FLASH
Mr. Popo- What was that sound?
Tien- I didn't hear anything.
Piccolo- I did.
He walks behind the hyperbolic time chamber and finds two people unconscious on the ground. Mr. Popo follows.
Mr. Popo- Do you know these two?
Piccolo- I've never seen them before.
Tien- How the hell did they get up here?
Bulma- What's going on? That noise woke up Trunks.
Trunks wails. Piccolo picks up an object near the two strangers.
Piccolo- This device. It must be how they got here.
FLASH
A- Well that was nice. Nothing happened.
N-Except I got a headache now.
A- Me too. Maybe we should try reading the directions.
N-eh.
Amy picks up the package and reads the instructions:
LET CHARGE 24 HRS. before using
N-Well that explains it.
A- Un-huh. So now what do you wanna do?
N-I dunno.
A- Wanna play X-Men?
N-K.
They play X-Men. Amy lives to the last level, Nicole dies two levels before.
A- What time is it?
N-9:28.
A- Only 22 ½ hours left. Wanna watch Escaflowne?
N- VAN!
A- ALAN SHA*ZAR!*

Gohan awakes with a start.
Gohan- /Such a strange power. I wonder if Dad felt it too./
He gets up to find his dad. Goku is training out in the emptiness of the hyperbolic time chamber. He spots Gohan.
Goku- Hey kiddo! What's up?
Gohan- Dad, did you just feel a strange power?
Goku thinks for a minute.
Goku- Yeah, I did. But you go and rest Gohan. You had a hard day today. We'll check it out later.
Gohan- Ok Dad, I won't concentrate on anything but getting stronger.
Goku- Atta boy, son.

A- La. La. La. La.
N- La La La La?
A- Uh-huh. Maybe we should go to bed now so we're well rested for our Big Day tomorrow.
N- Yeah. Where should I put it?
A- Put what? Oh! Ummmmm... we can keep it in my dresser so that Oliver won't get at it.
N- K.

Next Afternoon...
A- OK. Need to eat something.
She looks in the fridge. Looks in cupboard. Looks in fridge.
A- I think I'll have some hashbrowns.
Nicole walks into the kitchen.
N- Hi.
A- Good morning. How'd you sleep?
N- Okay.
A- Only 6 ½ hrs. to go.
N- Yay.
A- wanna go to China Moon after we eat?
N- China Moon.
The girls go to China Moon after eating.
There happens to be a brand new shipment of Dragon Ball Z stuff in.
A- Dragon Ball Z!!
N- Dragon Ball Z!!
They walk around the small store, awestruck at the Dragon Ball Z merchandise.
A- They have the Vegeta gloves with the light and the noise and the kame- hame-ha cuff things!
N- I want! I want!
A- Me too! Me too!
N- Amy! Look!
She has a dumbstruck look on her face and points at the back room. A heavenly light seems to shine over two things hanging in there. Amy and Nicole walk slowly towards them, hearing a chorus sing, 'aah leluyah, aahleluyah,' etc. They are absolutley speechless as they walk up to the wondrous objects before them. Each slowly looks them up and down, not daring to touch these precious items.
A- Oh my gawd!
Nicole can only stare. She finally finds her voice.
N- I don't care how much they cost, I'm getting one of each.
A- Damn straight!
Amy walks over to the China Moon Lady.
China Moon Lady- Hi! How are you?
A- Great! You?
China Moon Lady- Good thanks.
A- Um, how much are those? she points to where Nicole is still admiring the imports.
China Moon Lady- Oh! You like? I just got today. For you, $20.
A- For each or...
China Moon Lady- You like both? I give to you for $20.
A- Great! We'll each take two. she points to Nicole.
China Moon Lady- I look for nice box for to carry.
A- Alright! Thanx.
Amy and Nicole can't stop smiling. They bring their purchases to the cash and pay for them. Amy picks up the Vegeta gloves and Goku wrist bands. She and Nicole share a glance.
A- I think we have to.
N- Definitely.
A- We have no choice. We'll take two of each of these as well.
China Moon Lady- I'll give to you for $40.
A- Everything? Both of our stuff!
China Moon Lady- Yes.
A- Great!
She and Nicole each hand the China Moon Lady $20. She places the purchases in boxes and hands one to each girl. They head for the door, all thanking each other. The girls walk back to the house, shielding their precious cargo from the cold. They get in and go into the living room.
A- I'm gonna go change.
N- Me too!
Amy goes into her room and Nicole goes into the bathroom. When they emerge, they each burst out laughing. Nicole is holding up the belt in one hand and the senzu bean pouch in the other.
N- Help?!
Amy is holding up Saiyan armour.
A- Me too!
She puts it down and takes the pouch and belt form Nicole.
A- Ok. This tie-thingy ties the pouch to the belt, so it has to be here. she points to Nicole's left hip.
N- That makes sense. Now how do I tie it?
A- Where's the box?
She picks up the box and looks for the outfit's packaging.
A- Um, English?
N- Yeah, that's what I was looking for but all there is is a picture.
Amy studies the pictures. She takes the belt and puts it on Nicole.
A- Ok. Right goes over left and under.... then like this and, voila!
N- Voila?
The belt is tied and Amy picks up her armour.
A- Ok. I know how it goes on, but I don't know how to get it that way.
Nicole picks up the armour and looks it over.
N- Um, let's try this like dressing a Barbie.
A- So, you're comparing me to Barbie? I'm gonna Genki Dama you!
Nicole laughs.
A- I am so insulted!
Amy smiles and puts her arms up.
N- eh. eh.
She pushes the armour over , onto Amy. The material stretches slightly. Just enough to get on her properly.
N- There.
A- Thanks. Now(huff) need (puff) to (huff) catch(puff) breath.
The girls laugh.
N- How much time left?
A- 3 ½ hrs. Boof. (note: inside thing)
N- Boof?
A- I gotta go see how this looks.
N- Me too!
The girls go to the bathroom and take turns standing on the toilet to see themselves in the medicine cabinet mirror.
A- I don't think they'll be able to resist us.
She strikes a pose. Nicole laughs. Amy strikes a Vegeta pose(crosses arms across chest, stands with legs together, glares). Nicole tries to make a Goku face, but they both burst out laughing.
A- Kakarot!
N- I'm hungry!
More laughs. They go back into the living room.
A- Let's add the accessories!
N- What?
A- The kame-hame-ha....
N- Oh! Yeah!
Amy gets the packages out of their boxes. She throws Nicole hers, and sits down on the floor with her Vegeta gloves.
N- No throwy the Goku ..............things.
They laugh. They each open their purchases.
A- Shoot!
N- What?
A- Are batteries included in these?
She and Nicole search over their packages.
N- Mine are! Mine are!
A- Me too! Me too!
She pulls the gloves, carefully, out of the packaging and....
A- ahh!
N- What was that noise?
A- I think it was my gloves.
She pushes the button again and the noise comes out of it again.
A- Yup, it was. What do yours sound like?
Nicole was just putting the wrist cuffs on.
N- Need to stretchy....
She gets them on.
N- How make noise?
A- You have to hit them together.
Nicole complies and the girls laugh at the sounds.
A- Now only 3 hrs.!
N- Yay!
A- So, do you think it would work on a taped show?
N- I don't know, maybe.
A- We should bring some rum balls, and twisties!
N- We so should!
A- Do you think Goku knows how to make rice balls?
N- Probably. But I've never seen him eat any.
A- Me neither.
Amy starts humming the Gundam Wing theme song. Nicole starts drawing.
A- Los Luchadoras!
N- Where'd that come from?
A- Evil! Evil! Get
out
of
head!
She hits herself on the sides of her head. She starts singing Escaflowne. Nicole joins in. Amy starts laughing.
N- What?
A- Vegeta(laugh) sittin' here(laugh) singing show themes!
N- What?(laughs)
Amy gestures to her clothes. Nicole laughs, understanding.
A- 2 ½ hrs. left.
N- Yay.
A- We should probably eat before we go.
N- Yeah.
A- Um... should we maybe bring a bag of stuff?
N- I wanna bring my sketch book so they can see my picture of Vegetto.
A- I'm bringing my collage, and my Goku and Chioutzu toys.
N- But they won't know who Vegetto is.
A- Ah -well. Dope-dee-doh.
N- Dope-dee-doo.
The girls laugh.
A- 2 hrs. left. Do you want some spaghetti?
N- K.
Amy goes into the kitchen and starts preparing the meal.
A- Actually, it's going to be vermicelli. Is that ok?
N- yes(slowly)
The water boils. Amy puts the noodles in the water and turns on the tomato sauce.
A- It's ready!
She gets a bowl and scoops out some noodles and sauce for herself. Nicole gets her food as well. The finish eating. Amy does the dishes. She finishes and walks over into the living room.
A- (maniacal laughter) half an hour left!
N- (laughs) Woo hoo!
A- We need to do something that will make the time go by faster. Wanna play X-Men?
N- X-Men!
They play the Sega game for 25 minutes.
A- I can't take this waiting!
She turns off the game and puts the TV on Dragon Ball Z.
A- do we have everything?
N- My bag's all packed.
A- Uh-oh.
N- What?
A- Did you plug it into the charger?
N- No(shakily) You were supposed to. You did, didn't you?!
Amy looks guiltily at Nicole.
A- Uhhh.....
N- AMY!!!!
Amy bursts out laughing.
A- Gotchya! You should've seen your face!
Nicole laughs.
N- I'm gonna Genki Dama you!
A- No time for that. It's all charged up.
Nicole walks over to Amy.
A- You get to do the honours.
She hands Nicole the remote. Nicole pushes the big red button...
FLASH

Goku- ....99...10,000
He gets off his index fingers on which he was doing push-ups.
Gohan- Are you done, Daddy?
Goku- Yeah! Just in time to eat!
Gohan giggles while placing their lunch on the kitchen table. Goku just sits down to eat when someone knocks on the door.
