Amy is picking Krillin up from the ground for the umpteenth time because he keeps falling in mid-flight. Krillin is laughing. Krillin falls again, but this time it's because Amy drops him.

Krillin- Ouch!

Amy tries to steady herself, but falls on top of Krillin. He smiles and blushes.

Krillin- Shouldn't we wait 'til we get to my place for this?

Amy "looks" at him and gets up. She puts her hand to her forehead.

A- /What am I feeling? It's anger. But not mine./

Krillin- uhhh, are you ok? It's not my breath is it?

He tries to smell his own breath. Amy snaps out of her thoughts and smiles.

A- Come on, "lover boy", I know where you live now, so let's get going.

She picks up Krillin by the hand and they go to his house.

Nicole goes to the den and sits on the couch.

A- /"Hey Nicoldum!"/

N- Amy?

A- /"Whatchya doin'?"/

Nicole looks around the room.

N- Where are you?

A- /"I'm flying Krillin home, remember?"/

N- Then how are you talking to me?

A- /"I discovered how to read minds and project my thoughts. Cool, huh?"/

N- Yeah! Teach me!

A- /"Aren't you busy with Goku?"/

N- No! He threw up.

Nicole hears Amy laugh.

N- It's *not* funny!

A- /"Yes it is. I'll be back later.(her "voice" drops) Don't wait up."/

Nicole has a puzzled look on her face. Goku walks into the den. He can walk straight again.

Goku- Sorry about that.(he puts one hand on the back of his head) I guess I shouldn't eat so many rum balls.

N- uhhh, that's ok.

They're quiet for a while.

N- ummm, can I use your shower?

Goku- Yeah, sure.

Nicole goes to the bathroom and closes the door.

Amy walks Krillin to his bed and goes to leave.

Krillin- (grins slyly)Aren't you gonna stay?

Amy shakes her head and leaves. She decides to walk for a bit.

-----------PING---------

She senses someone nearby, flying.

A- /It's Vegeta. But his power level is very low. How come I can sense it? No. It's not his power I'm sensing. It's his thoughts./

Nicole washes her hair.

---------PING--------

N- Owwwwwwwwy! /Now what? It's Goku! He's in his room, thinking about, *owwwwy*! This hurts./

She holds her head.

N- /He's thinking about me! Cool!/

She finishes showering and wraps a towel around her hair.

N- /uhhh, where towels?/

She can't find another one, so she grabs a thick, fuzzy bathrobe and puts it on. She walks out of the bathroom and goes to Goku's room. He's making the bed.

Goku- Hey. Ummm, that's my bathrobe.

N- (embarassed) Sorry! I couldn't find anymore towels.

Goku- That's alright.

He finishes making the bed and walks over to Nicole.

Goku- You can sleep in my bed. I'll sleep in Gohan's room and Amy can sleep in the den.

N- k.

She walks over to the bed and sits down. She grabs her bag and pulls out a black book. She flips through it, looking for something.

Goku- What's that?

He walks over to the bed.

N- It's my sketchbook.

She continues turning the pages.

Goku- Wow! You drew all those? They're really good.

Nicole grins shyly. She finds the page she's looking for and starts drawing.

Goku- Is that you?

He points to the picture she's working on.

N- yeah. But I can't get this hand right.

She points to the left hand.

Goku- I think it looks fine. Do you think you could draw me?

Nicole is taken aback.

N- uhhhhh. I guess so.

She suddenly remembers something. She flips to another page and holds it up to Goku.

N- This is *almost* you.

Goku looks intently at the picture.

Goku- How could you draw this? Do you know a Super Saiyan?

Nicole panics.

N- ummmm, uhhhh, this is....(blurts) Vegetto! He *is* a Super Saiyan, but I don't really know him.

Goku- (makes a Goku face) Oh. ok.

He takes a seat beside her and she shows him all of her drawings.

Amy starts walking towards Vegeta through some trees. She comes upon him in a clearing. He is Super Saiyan and is concentrating on making a large ball of energy.

Vegeta- /I must become strong enough to defeat her! She was holding back, I know it!

Amy's eyes grow wide. A- /I was holding back? Just how strong am I?/

Vegeta finishes the energy ball and throws it straight up into the air. He stands waiting for it to come back down. It lands, directly hitting him, and a huge explosion ensues, leaving no trees in sight.

A- (cough) /He's training. I wonder how he took that blast...../(cough)

As the smoke clears, Amy can make out a figure lying on the ground.

A- Vegeta!

A- /"Nicole?"/

N- /"What?!"/

A- /"I ran into Vegeta, I'll see ya tomorrow."/

N- /"ok."/

A- /"I'm not interrupting anything lemony am I?"/

N- /"Go away!"/

A- /"I'll take that as a yes!"/

Goku- Are you done talking?

N- Yeah.

They go back to what they were doing.

Amy walks cautiously up to Vegeta. He lies motionless on the ground. Amy kneels beside him and checks his pulse.

Vegeta's armour is slightly singed and his shirt is almost ripped off at the shoulder. There's a little blood.

A- /He'll probably hate me for this, but....../

She takes a senzu bean out of her shirt's neck and holds it in her left hand while she removes her right glove and leans in closer.

A- /....he hates me anyway, well, he dislikes me./

She has to fight the urge to kiss the Saiyan Prince. Instead, she strokes his hair. She touches her middle and ring fingers to his lips. She opens his mouth and.......In a lightning-fast move, Vegeta's right hand comes up and grabs Amy's wrist, then flings her to his right. Amy is caught off-guard, but manages to turn the fling into a flip, and lands on her feet.

Nicole is absent-mindedly leaning against Goku. Goku notices but doesn't mind.

Goku- Would you like some ice cream?

N- Sure!

She realizes she's leaning against him and smiles. They get up and go to the kitchen. Goku goes to the fridge and Nicole sits at the table. Goku serves each of them two large scoops of chocolate ice cream. They eat in silence for a few moments.

Goku- So, where'd you guys come from?

N- uhhh, ummm, (slowly)Canada.

Goku thinks for a minute.

Goku- I've never heard of that. Is it far?

N- Not really.

Vegeta- (glaring)Just what do you think you were doing!?

A- I was just gonna give you a senzu bean! I wouldn't want my opponent to have a handicap, you know, other than their I.Q.(smiles)

Vegeta's aura burns brighter and he scowls at Amy.

Vegeta- Very funny.

Goku- Do you want some chocolate sauce?

N- ok. Chocolate.

Goku gets the chocolate sauce out of the cupboard and squirts a *lot* onto Nicole's and his ice cream. Some splatters onto Nicole's face.

N- Hey! You got chocolate on me!

Goku- (laughs)Sorry.

Nicole laughs too. Then takes a spoonful of chocolate and whips it at Goku. It lands *smack* on his face. Nicole can't stop laughing. Goku licks it off his face and aims the chocolate bottle at Nicole and squeezes it.

SQQQQQQUUUIIIIIIIIIRT!

Nicole gets covered in chocolate sauce.

A- Yeah, I know.

She walks over to Vegeta and picks up the glove she dropped. Vegeta watches her.

Amy ignores him as she puts her glove on.

A- How do you know I was holding back?

Amy looks at him.

A- I didn't know I *was* holding back.

Vegeta cocks an eyebrow and crosses his arms.

Vegeta- Oh? Really. And just how were you planning on battling me if you don't even know how strong you are?

A- Well, I wasn't about to back away from a challenge. Anyway, (she holds up the senzu bean)you can take this and I'll leave you to your training.

Vegeta- (eyes narrow)I don't need any help! Especially from *you!* Besides, you need it more than I do, if you ever hope to be able to defeat me.

A- Suit yourself. Soooooo, is this like a truce until I've trained?

Vegeta- Have it your way.

Amy notices a slight cringe of pain from Vegeta.

A- You should get this bandaged(touches his bleeding shoulder)and washed, too.

Vegeta looks at her and blasts off and flies away.

Goku laughs as Nicole licks the chocolate from her fingers.

N- You just wrecked your bathrobe.

Goku stops laughing and makes a Goku face. Nicole walks over to him and dumps her bowl of ice cream on his head. She laughs hysterically. Goku leaps from his chair and jumps around frantically as the cold ice cream runs down the front of his shirt.

Goku- Aaaaaah! It's cold!

Nicole laughs harder and almost falls over. Goku takes the bowl off of his head and takes off his shirt to get at the ice cream. Goku takes a handfull of ice cream and throws it at Nicole. It hits her so hard she falls down.

N- Owwy! Cold!

Goku- I'm so sorry! I gotta watch my strength more, huh?

Nicole continues to laugh. She goes over to the fridge and pulls something out of the freezer.

Goku- Nicole? Are you ok?

He comes up behind her. Nicole spins around, grabs Goku's belt, and puts an ice cube down his pants. Goku resumes hopping frantically.

Goku- aaaaaaaah! Cold! COLD!!

Nicole doubles over laughing.

boof

A- /Now what? Maybe I should train./

Vegeta- /The nerve of her! How dare she spy on me!/

A- I guess I should first learn how to turn this off.

She sits down , cross-legged, and concentrates.
